Nieuwe scheppingen – Wisseling van vorm – Omhulsel en zielensubstantie

Het is sinds eeuwigheid een wet, dat de geest uit God zich in alle schepselen belichaamt. Dat dus niets bestaat, wat niet de goddelijke vonk in zich bergt. En dus is het gehele heelal met alle scheppingen geest uit God en kan daarom ook niet vergankelijk zijn, om welke reden ook een voortdurend nieuw ontstaan in de natuur vanwege dezelfde wet bestaat, waarmee de onvergankelijkheid van al het geestelijke, dat de natuur leven geeft, uitvoerig opgehelderd is.

Ofschoon er dus ook een voortdurende verandering van de uiterlijke vorm plaatsvindt, dan blijft toch steeds het leven brengende in deze vorm bestaan, omdat anders de gehele schepping niet zou kunnen bestaan. Integendeel, waar de geest uit God niet in een ding zou kunnen zitten, zou deze moeten eindigen. Ontegenzeggelijk is ook de geest van God daar aan het werk, als nieuwe vormen van allerlei soorten merkbaar worden. Waar, bij wijze van spreken, uit het niets de heerlijkste nieuwe scheppingen ontstaan, die echter al in zichzelf veroorzaakt zijn en ontspruiten uit een oude vorm, die schijnbaar het afsterven nabij is.

Men kan in de natuur voortdurend waarnemen, dat alle wisselingen van vorm zich steeds dan voordoen, wanneer al het bestaande reeds in een toestand verkeert, die een afsterven duidelijk laat herkennen. En uit dat, wat vergaan is, wordt alles wat komt, tot leven gewekt. Steeds heeft het opwekken tot nieuw leven het langzame afsterven van het oude tot gevolg en dat is hier al een bewijs van, dat de geestelijke kracht slechts het uiterlijke omhulsel verlaat, om in een nieuw omhulsel haar vooruitgang te realiseren. En dit meestal in een volledig andere vorm, zodat een voortdurende opwaartse ontwikkeling van het geestelijke wezen daarmee verbonden is en dus de uiterlijke vorm slechts alleen voor dit doel dient.

Aan de aard van de vorm is al de toestand van rijpheid van het wezen te herkennen, want hoe nietiger de uiterlijke vorm is, des te minder ontwikkeld is ook de haar leven gevende zielensubstantie. In grotere levende wezens verbinden zich opnieuw talloze van zulke zielendeeltjes en streven zo gezamenlijk naar de hoogte.

En zo is daaruit duidelijk, hoe noodzakelijk de altijd terugkerende verandering en het opnieuw ontstaan in de natuur is voor de vooruitgang van al het geestelijke. En hoe al het ontstaan en vergaan een planmatig, door de Schepper geordende wet is en moet blijven om juist de opwaartse ontwikkeling van alle wezens te garanderen en gelijktijdig het scheppingswerk te laten bestaan en onophoudelijk leven te geven.

New creations.... change of forms.... cover and substance of souls....

It is a law from eternity that the spirit of God embodies itself in all creatures, that therefore nothing exists which does not contain the divine spark, and therefore the whole universe with all creations is spirit of God and therefore cannot be transient, which is why a perpetual regeneration in nature is the same law, which is comprehensively clarified with the imperishability of all spiritual which animates nature. Therefore, even if a perpetual change of the external form takes place, the animating element of this form always remains, because otherwise the whole of creation could not exist, but where the spirit from God does not want to indwell a thing, it would have to cease to be. It is indisputable that the spirit of God is also at work there, when new formations of all kinds become noticeable.... where, so to speak, the most marvellous new creations arise out of nothing, which, however, are already conditioned in themselves and spring from an old form that is apparently close to dying. One can constantly observe in nature that all changes of form always occur when everything that exists is already in a state that visibly shows a dying off.... And from this dying off everything that comes is born to life. The awakening to new life always results in the slow death of the old, and this is therefore already proof that the spiritual strength only leaves the outer shell in order to continue its progress in a new shell, and this usually in a completely different form, so that a permanent higher development of the spiritual entity is connected with it and thus the outer form only serves this purpose. The state of maturity of the being can already be recognized by the nature of the form, for the tinier the external form is, the more undeveloped is also the soul-substance animating it.... In larger living beings innumerable such soul-particles unite again and thus strive upwards together. And thus it can be seen how necessary the recurring transformation and resurrection in nature is for the progress of all spiritual beings, and how all coming into being and passing away is and must remain a law arranged according to plan by the creator, precisely in order to guarantee the higher development of all spiritual entities and at the same time to allow the work of creation to exist and to constantly enliven it....
