예수님이 세운 교회의 시작.

내 제자들은 내가 이 땅에 거할 때 사랑의 복음을 나 자신으로부터 받았다. 그러므로 내가 구속사역을 완성하고 내 빛의 나라에 다시 올라가게 되었을 때 그들은 복음을 순수하게 왜곡시키지 않고 세상에 전파할 수 있었고 제자들은 내 가르침을 순수하게 유지했다. 사람들은 내가 죄와 죽음으로부터 구속한 그들의 구속자라는 깨달음을 얻게 되었고 사람들은 내 제자로부터 그들이 십자가의 길을 가야 한다는 가르침을 받았고 그들이 이 땅의 삶을 목적을 성취시키고 자신의 죽음 후의 내 나라에 들어갈 수 있기 위해 사랑의 삶을 살아야만 한다는 가르침을 받았다.

내 제자들은 나에 의해 진리 안에서 인도 받았고 같은 진리를 전달했다. 왜냐면 그들 안에서 내 영이 역사할 수 있었기 때문이다. 초기에는 사람들이 내 순수한 복음을 영접했고 그들이 마찬가지로 사랑의 삶을 살려고 노력했다. 그러므로 이런 사람들은 자신 안의 영을 생명으로 깨어나게 했고 나 자신이 그들 안에서 역사할 수 있었다. 그러므로 내 가르침은 어느 기간 동안 순수하게 유지되었다. 내 제자들은 가르치는 직분을 물려주었다. 왜냐면 그들이 자신의 후계자로 정한 사람들의 영적인 상태를 깨달을 수 있었기 때문이다.

그러나 내적으로 부르심을 기다리지 않고 일부는 어느 정도의 자기 사랑과 내 뜻을 성취시키려는 지나친 열심으로 사람들이 직분을 스스로 택하기까지 오래 걸리지 않았다. 이로써 가르치는 직분을 무분별하게 주게 되었고 사람의 영적인 상태에 결정적인 내적인 은사를 더 이상 고려하지 않았고 외적인 형편이 함께 결정을 하게 만들었다. 이로써 이제 항상 더욱 순수한 진리가 위험하게 되었지만 그러나 영이 깨어나지 못한 이런 가르치는 직분을 받은 사람들 때문에 이 위험을 깨닫지 못했다.

복음을 전하는 사람들에게 자신이 스스로 판단할 수 있는 권리를 금지시켰고 그들이 가르침 받는 것이 실제 진리인지 의심을 크게 불러 일으킬 수 있는 권리을 금지시켰다. 자신을 영적으로 가르치는 자로 여기는 사람들은 그들의 사명과 자신의 가치에 대한 확신을 가지고 있었고 그들은 어떠한 반론도 영접하지 않았다. 가르침을 받은 모든 사람은 그들에게 제공되는 것을 점검해보지 않고 모든 것을 진리로 영접하는 일을 의무로 했다. 진리는 단지 진리를 지키는 사람 자신의 영이 깨어난 동안에 순수하게 유지될 수 있었다.

그러나 내 영으로 깨우침을 받지 않고 직분과 직위를 받는 사람들의 수가 증가하게 되었고 이런 사람들의 권세는 증가했고 영이 깨어난 사람들이 제시하는 의의는 무시되었다. 순수한 진리는 오류와 신적인 진리로 주장하는 사람의 이성에서 나온 생각에 의해 물러나게 되었다. 영이 깨어나는 사람들이 이런 오류를 제거하려고 항상 또 다시 시도했지만 내 대적자가 자신을 관철시켰다. 왜냐면 그의 추종자의 세력이 이미 아주 커서 순수한 진리가 이제 더 이상 순수한 진리로 깨달음 받지 못했기 때문이다.

그러므로 너희는 시간이 흐름에 따라 내가 이 땅에서 세운 그리스도의 교회와 전혀 다른 교회가 세워졌다는 것을 너희 자신에게 설명할 수 있다. 그러므로 단지 한 단체가 권세에 도달했고 이 단체 내에서 항상 그리고 항상 또 다시 분리가 일어났다고 설명할 수 있다. 내가 세운 내 교회는 항상 단지 사랑의 삶의 결과로 진리 안에 거하는 생명력 있는 믿음과 깨어난 영을 증거하는 사람들을 포함하는 영적인 건물로 여기기를 원한다는 설명해줄 수 있다. 이런 교회는 항상 또 다시 사랑 안에서 살려고 노력하고 내 뜻을 성취시키려고 노력하는 사람들에게 내 영을 부어 줄 수 있을 때까지 유지되었다.

그러므로 이런 사람들에게 모든 오류를 드러나게 하는 순수한 진리가 항상 또 다시 전해질 수 있었다. 왜 인류가 혼동 된 생각에 빠질 수 있었는지 왜 인류에게 혼동 된 생각으로부터 자유롭게 되려는 자세가 없는지에 대한 설명이 진지하게 진리를 갈망하는 모든 사람에게 제공될 것이다. 그러나 절대로 대중이 진리에 도달할 수 없고 대중이 오류에는 자원해 동의한다는 일은 모든 사람에게 이해할만한 일이다. 모든 각각의 사람들이 나로부터 자신에게 순수한 진리가 제공이 되는 은혜를 받으면, 그는 잘못 된 영적인 내용으로부터 자신을 자유롭게 만들려고 해야 한다. 사람이 단지 진지하게 진리를 갈망하면, 그는 진리와 오류를 구별할 수 있게 될 것이고 그러면 그는 나 자신이 이 땅에 세운 교회에 속하게 될 것이다.

The church of Christ in its beginnings....

My disciples received the Gospel of love from Me directly when I lived on earth, and thus they were able to carry it into the world in its pure and unadulterated form after I accomplished My act of Salvation and ascended to My kingdom of light again. And they, on their part, also kept My teaching pure and people came to know Me as their Redeemer from sin and death.... They were instructed by My disciples that they would have to take the path to the cross and live a life of love in order to be able to fulfil the purpose of their earthly life and to enter My kingdom after their death. My disciples were guided into truth by Me and also passed on the same truth because My spirit was able to work in them.... In the beginning, therefore, people accepted My pure Gospel and also made an effort to live a life of love, and thus they, too, became spiritually alive and I was able to work in them Myself. And so My teaching remained pure for a certain period of time, My disciples passed on their teaching ministry because they recognised the spiritual state of those they appointed as their successors....

Yet it did not take long before people assumed such a teaching ministry by themselves, partly due to selfish reasons, partly due to overzealousness of complying with My will but without waiting for the inner calling.... And so it came to pass that this teaching ministry was eventually conferred indiscriminately.... that the inner ability, the human being’s spiritual state, was no longer pertinent but that external circumstances played a part and thus increasingly endangered the pure truth as well which, however, was not noticed precisely because of the teachers’ unenlightened spirit.... The people, however, to whom the Gospel was preached were denied the right to form their own opinion and to voice doubts about the absolute truth of what they were taught.... Those who deemed themselves spiritual leaders were convinced of their mission and authority and allowed no contradiction whatsoever. And those who were being taught were obliged to accept without scrutiny that everything they were offered was true. It was only possible for the truth to remain pure as long as its guardians were spiritually enlightened themselves. Yet the number of those who were placed into positions of authority without being enlightened by My spirit soon predominated and all objections by a spiritually awakened person were dismissed.... The former grew more powerful and the pure truth became interspersed with error.... with ideas which had originated in people’s intellect and were endorsed by them as divine truth. And although spiritually enlightened people time and again tried to eliminate this error.... My adversary succeeded to assert himself, for his followers’ power was already too great and the pure truth was no longer recognised as such.

This explains to you that in the course of time something entirely different established itself as the ‘church of Christ’ than what was founded by Me on earth.... Only this explains how an organisation came into power, why time and again divisions occurred within this organisation and why I only ever want the ‘church founded by Me’ to be regarded as a spiritual edifice that includes those people who live in truth due to of a life of love, which results in a living faith and the awakening of the spirit. And this church has indeed kept itself alive to this day, for time and again My spirit could pour itself out over people who made an effort to live a life of love and to fulfil My will.... And so the pure truth which exposes all misguided teachings could always be imparted to them again, and every genuinely truth-seeking person will receive an explanation how humankind was able to fall into such confused thinking and is unwilling to free itself from it. Yet it will also be understandable to everyone that the masses will never be open to the truth but willingly accept error, and thus every individual person should try to free himself from wrong spiritual knowledge as soon as My grace offers him the pure truth, for just his sincere desire will enable him to differentiate between truth and error, and then he will also belong to the church which I founded on earth Myself....
