올바르게 생각하게 되는 것도 영의 역사이다.

사람들이 올바르게 생각하는 법을 배우는 것은 내 영의 역사이다. 내 영은 특별하게 자신을 나타낸다. 뿐만 아니라 자신 안에서 영을 생명으로 깨어나게 한 모든 사람은 내면의 밝음을 느낄 것이다. 그는 올바르게 생각할 것이다. 그는 항상 진리를 진리로 깨닫게 될 것이다. 그는 내 의지를 알 것이다. 왜냐면 그의 생각은 영원한 아버지의 영과 연결되길 구하는 영의 불씨에 의해 인도받기 때문이다. 자신 안의 영을 생명으로 인도하기 위해는 단지 사랑을 행하는 삶만이 요구 된다. 그러므로 사랑을 행하는 사람은 믿음에 도달해야만 한다. 왜냐면 그의 영이 생각으로 그를 가르치고 그에게 점차적으로 이해할 수 있게 해주기 때문이다. 그러나 이렇게 되기 위한 선행조건은 항상 믿으려고 하는 자유의지가 있어야만 한다.

그러므로 그는 만약에 그가 믿기를 원하면, 그는 항상 믿을 수 있을 것이다. 사람들에게 증명할 수 없는 것을 사람들은 대부분 거절한다. 그러나 그는 영적인 지식은 증명할 수 없음을 인정해야만 한다. 나 자신을 믿는 것도 영적인 지식에 속하지만 그럴지라도 확신에 도달할 수 있다. 그러나 이런 확신에 도달하게 하는 것은 이성이 아니고 위로부터 생각을 통해 오는 가르침이다. 즉 이 생각은 이성에서 나온 것이 아니고 심장에서 생겨난 것이다. 그러나 사람이 자신의 감정에 의해 가끔 인도함을 받으면, 그가 사랑을 행하는 삶을 살면, 그는 자주 이성의 활동을 통한 것보다 진리에 더 가까이 다가가게 된다. 그러나 그가 사랑의 삶을 살지 않으면, 그의 생각은 진리를 찾게 절대로 허용하지 않는 자신의 영적인 어두움을 항상 더욱 깊게 만드는 내 대적자의 영향을 받을 것이다.

그러므로 사랑을 행하려는 의지를 가진 모든 사람은 내 음성을 듣게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 내가 그들의 생각을 통해 그들을 인도하고 그들에게 나로부터 온 순수한 진리에 가까이 다가가게 해주고 그들은 자원해 진리를 영접하게 되고 이를 진리로 깨달을 수 있을 것이다. 위로부터 너희 사람들에게 전해진 내 말을 혼들이 한번 깨닫게 하는 일에 내가 도달했으면, 이 혼들이 잘못 된 길을 갈 위험이 더 이상 없다. 왜냐면 사랑의 삶을 사는 모든 사람이 이런 위험으로부터 벗어나게 되는 것처럼 이미 내 능력이 역사할 수 있기 때문이다. 그러나 내 말이 전해지는 것은 능력이 주어지지 않고는 이룰 수 없는 혼의 성장을 이루게 하기 위한 것이다. 내 말은 내 능력으로 축복이 되었기 때문에 아주 연약한 사랑하려는 의지도 강하게 만들 수 있다. 그리고 사람이 이 땅에서도 성장하게 할 수 있다. 그러면 그는 그의 이 땅의 삶을 의식적으로 살게 된다. 그가 나로부터 나와 내 성품과 모든 연관관계에 대해 사람들과 나 사이의 올바른 관계와 사람들의 과제에 관해 가르침을 받으면, 그는 확신을 가진 믿음을 가질 수 있다.

그의 내면의 생각은 깨우침을 받을 것이다. 그러므로 모든 것을 영접할 것이다. 그는 비록 증거를 가지고 있지 않지만 그러나 이것이 그렇다는 내적인 확신을 가지고 있고 이런 확신에 신실하게 머무른다. 왜냐면 진리를 한번 찾은 사람은 이 진리를 더 이상 다른 지식 때문에 포기하지 않기 때문이다.

그러나 사랑이 없는 사람은 올바르게 생각할 수 없다. 그러면 모든 아주 좋은 설교자의 모든 좋은 설교와 모든 말이 도움이 되지 않고 진리는 사람의 심장 안으로 들어갈 수 없다. 왜냐면 심장이 강 팍해져 있기 때문이다. 종말이 다가올수록 더욱 사람들의 심장이 강 팍해지는 것을 깨달을 수 있다. 왜냐면 사랑이 식었고 물질이 심장을 묶고 있고 그들의 생각은 단지 이 세상과 세상의 재물을 향해 있기 때문이다. 그들은 영적인 재산을 갈망하지 않는다. 갈망하지 않고서 그들은 어떤 것도 받을 수 없다. 그러나 사랑의 불씨가 있는 곳에는 이 불씨가 불타오르게 해야 한다. 사람들에게 항상 단지 내 사랑을 제시해 줘야 한다. 계명을 지키면 비교할 수 없는 재산을 주는 내 사랑의 계명을 따르게 그들은 자극을 받아야 한다.

사랑은 모든 것이다. 영은 생명으로 깨어나게 되고 사람의 생각은 깨우침을 받게 되고 만약에 그들에게 순수한 진리가 전해지면 그들은 동시에 그들 안에 있는 영이 자신을 나타내고 그들의 생각을 밝게 해주기 때문에 이성적으로도 부인하지 않을 것이고 그들은 부인할 수 없는 믿음에 도달할 것이다. 그러므로 사람들로 하여금 사랑으로 도움을 베풀 수 있게 하기 위해 이 땅에 많은 고난이 제공될 것이다. 모든 사람은 실제 사랑할 능력을 가지고 있다. 그러나 모든 사람이 사랑하려는 의지를 가진 것은 아니다. 그러나 고난이 그들의 심장에 감동을 줄 것이고 그들이 한번 사랑을 행했으면, 그들은 사랑을 행하는 가운데 스스로 내적인 행복을 찾게 된다. 그들은 보답하는 사랑을 얻게 되고 이 사랑은 다시 능력으로 역사해 새롭게 사랑을 행하게 자극을 한다. 너희는 항상 또 다시 사랑을 행하려는 자극을 받으라. 축복된 영원한 생명에 도달하기 위해는 너희 심장을 채워야 할 너희들로 하여금 나와 긴밀하게 연합되게 해주는 사랑 외에는 어떤 것도 없음을 믿어라. 왜냐면 사랑 안에 거하는 사람은 내 안에 거하고 내가 그 안에 거하기 때문이다.

Right thinking is also working of the mind....

This, too, is the working of My Spirit, that the human being learns to think right.... Not only does My spirit express itself unusually but every person who awakens it to life within himself will feel an inner brightness, he will think correctly.... And then he will also always recognize the truth as such, he will also know about My will, for his thoughts will be guided by the spiritual spark which seeks contact with the father-spirit of eternity. To bring the spirit within oneself to life only requires a way of life in love.... And thus a person must also attain faith if he lives in love, because his spirit mentally instructs him, because one thing after another becomes comprehensible to him.... But the prerequisite is always that the free will exists to believe.... thus he will always be able to believe if he wants to believe. What is not provable to the human being he usually wants to reject, and yet he has to admit that spiritual knowledge, which also includes faith in Myself, cannot be proven and can nevertheless become a conviction. Yet this will not be achieved by the intellect but by mental instructions which come from above.... thus thoughts which are born in the heart, not in the intellect. The human being should occasionally let himself be guided by his feelings after all, then he will often come closer to the truth than through intellectual activity if he lives a life of love, otherwise his thinking will be influenced by My adversary who will never let him find the truth but will deepen his spiritual darkness ever more. For this reason all people who are willing to love are addressed by Me, for I guide their thinking, and if the pure truth from Me is then brought to them they will willingly accept it and also be able to recognize it as truth. And once I have achieved that they take notice of My word which is conveyed to you humans from above, then there is no longer any danger that these souls will go astray, because then My strength will already be able to take effect, just as every person whose way of life shows love will have escaped this danger. Yet the transmission of My word is intended to mature the soul, which is not possible without the supply of strength.... And since My word is blessed with My strength, even the weakest will to love can be strengthened and the human being can mature while still on earth. He then lives his earthly life consciously. And then he can also gain a convinced faith when he is instructed by Me about Me and My nature and about all correlations, about the human being's right relationship with Me and his task. His inner thinking will then be enlightened and therefore also accept everything; although he then has no evidence either, he has the inner conviction that it is so, and he remains true to this conviction. For once he has found the truth he will not give it up again for the sake of another knowledge. Without love, however, the human being cannot think correctly, and then all lectures, all words of a preacher, no matter how good, are of no use, the truth cannot enter the human being's heart because it is hardened. And the closer the end is, the more hardening of people's hearts is recognizable, for love has grown cold, matter keeps the hearts bound and their thoughts only belong to the world and its goods. They do not desire spiritual goods, and without desire they cannot receive anything. But where a spark of love is still recognizable it shall be stirred up.... My love shall only ever be held up to people and they shall be encouraged to fulfil My commandments of love, the observance of which will earn them incomparable treasures. Love is everything.... the spirit will be awakened to life, people's thinking will be enlightened, and undeniably they will also find faith when they are given the pure truth, which they will no longer deny intellectually either, because at the same time the spirit will express itself from within and illuminate their thinking. And therefore there will still be much adversity on earth in order to stimulate people into loving help, for everyone is certainly capable of love but not everyone is willing to love.... But adversity can touch their hearts, and once they have accomplished a labour of love they will find inner happiness in it themselves and reap reciprocal love which will again work as strength and spur them on to renewed loving activity. Again and again let yourselves be stimulated into loving activity.... believe that there is nothing else to attain eternal life in beatitude than love, which shall fill your heart and which intimately unites you with Me, for: “He who abides in love abides in Me and I in him...."
