하나님. 사랑. 생명력이 있는 믿음.

믿음을 생명력이 있게 하기 위해 열심히 사랑을 행하는 일이 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 이웃 사랑을 행하는 일이 필요하다. 사람이 자기 자신에게 허용하는 모든 것을 그는 자신의 이웃들이 위험 가운데 거하면, 그들에게 향해야 한다. 이 일을 하기 위해 자신의 요구를 뒤로 하는 일이 필요하다. 사랑이 전혀 없는 자로부터 받은 유전으로 인해 자기에게 달라붙어 있는 자기 사랑에 대항해 싸우는 일이 필요하다.

그러나 너희 사람들은 이런 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑의 삶이 주는 놀라운 효과를 확인할 수 있을 것이다. 왜냐면 너희가 확신을 가진 믿음을 얻을 수 있게 될 것이기 때문이다. 너희에게 하나님의 사랑의 가르침이 전파되면, 너희가 이를 믿을 수 있는 일이 가능할 것이다.

왜냐면 너희가 사랑의 삶을 통해 더 이상 믿음의 가르침을 올바르게 이해하지 못할 정도로 어두운 영으로 거하지 않기 때문이다. 그러므로 너희는. 이 가르침을 의심하거나 거부하지 않고 영접한다. 생명력이 있는 믿음을 갖게 된 것은 진실로 행복한 일이다. 왜냐면 그러면 너희가 믿는 분과 연결을 이루기 때문이다. 너희는 당연한 것처럼 너희 자신을 너희의 하나님 아버지께 드린다.

너희는 자녀와 아버지사이의 올바른 관계 들어선다. 너희의 이 땅의 삶은 이제 목적을 의식한다. 왜냐면 너희가 너희의 실제 이 땅의 과제를 깨닫기 때문이다. 너희가 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑을 행하면, 너희의 삶은 계속하여 베풀고 행복하게 하는 삶이 될 것이다.

그러나 너희는 천 배로 다시 돌려받을 것이다. 너희는 먼저 너희를 행복하게 하는 확신을 가진 믿음을 얻고 게다가 너희가 이미 이 땅에서 활용할 수 있는 그러나 너희가 이 땅을 떠나면, 저세상에서 더 많이 활용할 수 있는 부유한 은혜와 영적인 재물을 받을 것이다.

자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑을 행하는 일은 하나님의 임재에 대한 증거이다. 하나님은 모든 사랑의 역사 가운데 자신을 나타낸다. 하나님 자신 자체가 사랑이다. 그러므로 너희가 모든 사랑의 역사를 통해 하나님이 임재하게 한다. 왜냐면 "사랑 안에 거하는 사람은 내 안에 거하고 내가 그 안에 거한다.“ 이기 때문이다.

하나님과 사랑은 서로 분리시킬 수 없는 개념이다. 사랑이 있는 곳에 하나님이 있다. 하나님이 있는 곳에 항상 또 다시 사랑의 역사가 일어날 것이다. 사랑이 있는 곳에 하나님을 믿는 믿음이 생명력이 있게 돼야만 한다. 왜냐면 하나님의 임재를 깨닫지 못하게 될 수 없기 때문이다. 확신을 가진 믿음은 사람을 이 땅의 영역 밖으로 들어 올린다.

믿음은 단지 증명할 수 있는 것에만 집착하지 않고 이 믿음이 사랑으로부터 나왔다면, 증명할 수 없는 것도 이해한다. 그러므로 사랑을 행함을 통해 얻는 것은 너희가 주는 것보다 훨씬 더 큰 것이다. 너희의 사람들은 이 땅에서 자연의 법칙에 따라 아직 너희의 육체에 해당되는 어려움뿐만 아니라 너희의 혼에게 해당이 되는 어려움 아래 있다.

그러나 너희가 생명력이 있는 믿음을 얻으면, 너희는 이런 짐을 물리칠 수 있다. 너희는 너희가 굳게 믿는 분과 함께 모든 일을 다스릴 수 있다. 왜냐면 그분에게는 해결할 수 없는 문제가 없기 때문이고 너희가 그 분을 굳게 의지하면, 너희는 동시에 그 분의 권세의 영역 가운데 있기 때문이다.

너희에게 어떤 불행도 닥칠 수 없다. 어떤 위험도 너희에게 다가갈 수 없다. 왜냐면 너희가 너희의 생명력이 있는 믿음의 능력으로 너희의 아버지가 너희 옆에 계신 것으로 느끼고 그러므로 너희가 그의 사랑 안에서 보호받음을 알기 때문이다. 그러나 단지 하나님이 영원한 너희의 아버지이기 때문에 하나님의 사랑과 권세가 너희에게 계시될 것이라는 생명력이 있는 믿음과 굳은 확신이 이런 일을 가능하게 한다.

이 땅의 모든 위험을 물리치기 위해 너희가 단지 너희 안에서 사랑을 행하려는 의지가 깨어나게 하기만 하면 됨을 생각하면, 너희가 사랑의 힘으로 동시에 이 땅의 어려움을 벗어나게 됨을 생각하면, 너희가 단지 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑으로 이웃을 영접하고 이제 산을 옮길 수 있는 믿음으로 너희 심장을 채우기만 하면 됨을 생각하면, 너희가 생명력이 있는 믿음이 이 땅의 삶을 전적으로 다르게 평가하게 만듬을 생각하면, 너희는 진실로 너희의 사랑의 삶을 통해 어떠한 희생을 한 것이 아니고 더 큰 유익을 얻은 것이다.

너희는 너희가 다시 원래의 성품에 도달할 정도의 빛과 능력을 받는다. 너희가 믿은 것이 너희에게 축복된 확신이 된다. 너희는 영원한 하나님 아버지와 굳게 연결 된다. 너희는 다시 빛 가운데 선다. 다시 말해 너희가 정함 받은 것을 전적으로 깨닫는다. 너희는 정함 받은 대로 하나님과 함께 그의 뜻 안에서 창조하고 역사할 수 있는 능력을 소유한다. 왜냐면 너희가 하나님의 자녀가 되었기 때문이다. 너희는 하나님의 자녀로 영원히 머물게 될 것이다.

God.... love.... living faith....

To let faith come alive in oneself also requires a lively activity of love, an unselfish activity of love for one's neighbor. Everything that a person does to himself, he should also do to his neighbor, as soon as the latter is in need, and this requires a putting aside of one's own demands, it requires a fight against self-love, which clings to the human being as an inheritance of him, who is completely devoid of any love. But you humans will be able to notice a wonderful effect of such an unselfish love life, because you will gain a convinced faith.... It will be possible for you to believe when the divine teachings of faith are presented to you, because through the life of love you are also no longer so darkened in spirit to understand these teachings of faith rightly, and you therefore accept them without doubt or contradiction. To have found a living faith is truly happy, because you then also enter into contact with Him in Whom you believe.... You give yourselves to your God and father as a matter of course, you enter into the right relationship of a child to the father, and your earthly life is now also purposeful because you recognize your actual earthly task. If you are unselfishly active in love, your life is a constant giving and making happy.... but you receive a thousandfold back again.... first of all a convinced faith which makes you happy, and furthermore a measure of graces and spiritual goods which accumulate to a wealth which you can already utilize on earth, but even far more in the kingdom on the other side when you have left this earth. Unselfish activity of love is a proof of the presence of God, Who expresses Himself in every work of love, Who is love Himself and Whom you therefore cause to be present with every work of love.... For "he who abides in love abides in Me and I in him....", 'love' and 'God' are inseparable terms.... Where love is, there is God, and where God is, works of love are also always performed. But where love is, faith in God must also come alive, because His presence is unmistakable. And the convinced faith lifts man beyond the earthly sphere, faith does not only stick to what can be proved, but it also gives understanding for what cannot be proved, as well as this faith has come out of love. What you therefore gain through love activity is far more than what you give. On earth you humans are still subjected to natural law difficulties, which can affect your body as well as your soul. But as soon as you have gained a living faith, you can also banish such burdens, you can become master of every adversity in communion with Him, in Whom you now firmly believe, because for Him there is nothing that He cannot remedy, and if you firmly lean on Him, then you are, as it were, also in the midst of His sphere of power, no disaster can befall you, no adversity can approach you anymore because you feel your father beside you by virtue of your living faith and thus you also know yourselves to be safe in His love.... But all this can only be achieved by a living faith, the firm certainty that God's power and love will be revealed to you, because He is your father from eternity.... When you consider this, that only the will to love needs to be stimulated in you to relieve you of all adversity on earth as well, that you are as it were raptured from the heaviness of earth by virtue of love.... when you consider that you only need to take care of your neighbor in unselfish love and now also a faith will fill your heart that can move mountains.... and if you consider that a living faith also lets you make completely different use of your earthly existence, then you truly sacrifice nothing through your work of love, but you gain an exceeding profit.... You receive light and power to such an extent that you regain your original being. And what you have believed becomes a blessed certainty for you: You are firmly united with your God and father from eternity, you stand in the light again, i.e. in fullest knowledge of your destiny, and you possess the power to now also create and work according to this destiny with God and in His will.... For you have become His children, and you will remain His children forever....
