영의 세계와의 교제는 특별하게 유익하다.

저 세상의 세계와 순전히 영적으로 교제하는 일과 교제하려고 열심히 노력하는 사람들에게 가장 높은 가치의 가진 장점이 있다. 그러므로 너희는 단지 유익을 얻을 수 있고, 너희는 아래로 이끌리지 않고 끊임없이 위로 올라가게 될 것이다. 그러나 순수한 영적인 교제는 하나님을 향한 태도와 믿음을 기본적으로 전제로 하고, 진리를 향한 깊은 내적인 갈망과 또한 선한 의지를 전제로 한다. 그렇지 않으면 부정적인 결과를 초래할 수 있고, 경고해야만 할 교제가 된다. 올바르게 이해하기 위해 너희는 먼저 무지한 존재에게 진리를 전하는 일이 이 땅에서 든 저 세상에서 든 실제 지식을 가진 존재가 하는 일임을 알아야만 하고, 이런 일은 그들에게 그들을 행복하게 하는 사랑으로 행하는 일을 의미한다는 것을 알아야만 한다.

모든 빛의 존재에게 이 땅의 사람들이 맡겨져 있고, 빛의 존재들은 사람들의 생각을 올바른 방향으로 인도하려고 시도한다. 그러므로 이 일은 생각을 통해 진리를 전하는 일이고, 이 땅과 영의 세계 사이의 끊임없는 교제를 통해 생각을 받거나 영접하는 일이다. 단지 영의 세계가 언급되지 않는다. 왜냐면 생각하는 일은 사람에게 자연스러운 일이고, 사람이 생각의 기원을 선명하게 밝히려고 시도하지 않기 때문이다. 이는 당연한 과정이고, 그러므로 거의 관심을 받지 못한다. 그러나 만약 사람이 의식적으로 영의 세계와 접촉하기 원하면, 빛의 존재들은 이를 자신을 명확하게 표현할 기회로 포착하고 어떤 의미에서 정상적인 가르침을 통해 사람에게 진리를 제공할 수 있게 된다.

이런 의식적으로 영적인 계시를 받는 일은 혼이 높이 성장하는 일에 아주 도움이 된다. 진리를 갈망하는 사람은 이제 낮은 차원의 영적인 세력들의 역사로부터 빛의 존재의 보호를 받는다. 이런 세력들은 진리를 전할 수 없지만 끊임없이 자신을 표현하기 원하고, 사람들 자신의 낮은 차원의 혼의 성장정도로 인해 이런 세력들을 받아들이려는 사람들에게 오류를 전하기를 원한다. 인간 자신이 생각으로 그에게 전하기 원하는 세력을 정한다. 그러므로 사람이 영의 나라로부터 받기 위해 의식적으로 노력한다면, 자주 다른 결과를 얻는다. 그러나 영의 세계와 연결을 이루는 일을 통해 영을 추구하는 사람들이 말할 수 없게 많은 것을 얻을 수 있게 되는 일을 배제하지는 않는다.

사람이 어떤 영향력 아래 거할지에 다시 자유의지가 결정적인 역활을 한다. 자신의 생각과 의지로 하나님을 추구하는 사람은 또한 하나님에 의해 붙잡힘을 받고, 그는 사람에게 해를 끼치는 역사를 절대로 할 수 없는 빛의 존재들에게 맡겨진다. 그러나 아직 세상에 속한 사람은 진리를 깨닫는 일에 관심이 없고, 진리를 피한다. 왜냐면 진리가 그의 삶의 방식을 비판하기 때문이다. 이런 사람은 물질을 향한 자신의 소원을 사람에게 전해주려고 시도하고, 자원하여 자신을 말을 듣는 사람을 찾아 자신을 표현하는 성숙하지 못한 영적인 존재가 환영하는 대상이 된다.

영적인 존재나 빛의 나라의 거주자나 또는 어두움의 존재가 어떤 방식으로 자신을 표현하게 만들지는 다시 사람의 의지에 달려 있지만 그러나 가장 단순한 형태인 영의 세계와의 생각으로 연결하는 일을 통해 일어날 수 있고, 답변이 이제 다시 생각의 형태로 돌아온다. 무지한 사람이 이런 일을 위해 단지 물질적인 도움의 수단을 사용하고, 이로써 어느 정도 성공한다. 왜냐면 영의 나라의 존재들이 사람과 접촉할 수 있는 모든 기회를 활용하여 그들이 사람 근처에 있고 사람들과 접촉하기를 원한다는 것을 알리기 때문이다.

그러므로 전혀 믿지 않는 사람이 깨달음을 얻는 일은 실제 권장할 만한 일이다. 또한 얻은 깨달음을 활용하여 영의 나라의 주민들과 긴밀하게 생각으로 연결을 이루는 일은 권장할 만한 일이다. 사람이 진지하고 선한 의지를 가지고 있다면, 이런 연결이 절대로 축복을 주는 성공을 하지 못하게 되지 않을 것이다.

Intercourse with the spiritual world exceptional benefit....

Purely spiritual contact with the world beyond is a privilege of the highest value for you humans who make use of it. And therefore you can only gain, you will not be pulled down but constantly ascend. But pure spiritual intercourse presupposes an attitude towards God and towards faith in general, it presupposes a deep inner desire for truth and also a good will, otherwise negative successes will be recorded, an intercourse which has to be warned against. In order to understand correctly you first have to know that the supply of truth to the ignorant, be it on earth or in the beyond, is the actual activity of the knowing beings; that it signifies the activity of love for them in which they find their happiness. Every being of light is entrusted with people on earth whose thoughts they try to guide into the right direction. Hence the mental transmission of truth and the receiving or taking in of thoughts is the constant communication between earth and the spiritual world, which is only not mentioned because thinking seems self-evident to a person and he does not try to clarify the origin of the thoughts. It is a self-evident process which therefore receives little attention. But if the human being is consciously willing to enter into contact with that world, then the beings of light gladly seize the opportunity to manifestly express themselves and to a certain extent to offer people the truth by way of regulated instructions. And this conscious reception of spiritual knowledge is extremely beneficial for the soul's upward development. A person who desires truth is now protected by the beings of light against the activation of lower spiritual forces which are not able to impart truth but constantly want to express themselves and therefore impart error to those who are willing to receive it through their same lower maturity of soul. The human being himself determines the forces which want to mentally communicate with him, and therefore mediations from the spiritual kingdom, if they are consciously striven for, will often produce different results, which, however, does not exclude that spiritual strivers can gain unspeakably much through a connection with the spiritual world. Again, free will is decisive under whose influence he places himself. Whoever strives towards God in his thinking and willing will also be seized by God and given into the care of the beings of light, who can never have a harmful effect on the human being. He who still belongs to the world is not concerned with recognizing the truth but shuns it because it condemns his way of life. This is a welcome object for the expression of immature spiritual beings who, in the same desire for matter, seek to transfer their wishes to it and also find willing listeners. How the spiritual beings, the inhabitants of the kingdom of light or the beings of darkness, are induced to express themselves is again up to the human being's will, but it can happen in the simplest form, in the mental connection with the spiritual world, from which the answer also comes again in the form of thoughts. Only the ignorant human being uses material aids for this, which therefore also achieve certain successes because the beings of the spiritual kingdom use every opportunity to make contact with people in order to inform them that they are close to the human being and want to have contact with them. And therefore it is certainly advisable for the completely unbelieving to acquire knowledge; but it is also advisable to use the knowledge gained such that intimate mental contact is established with the inhabitants of the spiritual world, which will never remain without beneficial success if the human being is of serious and good will....
