종말의 때의 제자. 세상과 연결. 가족을 돌보는 하나님.

종말의 때의 제자들이 나를 위해 일하라는 낮은 음성을 자신의 심장 안에서 영접하면, 그들은 나를 따르기 위해 가족과 집과 농장을 떠나야 했던 나의 제자들처럼 모든 것을 희생할 준비가 돼야만 한다. 그들의 나를 향한 사랑이 아주 강하여, 어떤 세상의 연결을 나 보다 앞세워서는 안 된다. 그러면 그들은 비로소 나의 올바른 제자로써, 나의 사명대로 역사할 수 있다. 이 땅이 그들을 아직 묶고 있으면, 그들은 내면의 음성을 들을 수 없다. 그러나 내면의 음성은 나의 말씀을 전파하기 위해, 이웃사람을 가르칠 수 있기 위해, 절대적으로 필요하다.

내가 너희에게 사랑을 표현하는 나의 말보다, 더 사랑스러운 일이 너희에게 없어야 한다. 너희는 자원하여, 기뻐하며, 언제든지 직접적으로 또는 간접적으로 나의 말씀을 들을 자세를 가져야만 한다. 너희가 영에 대해, 영원한 진리에 대해 더 많이 이해할수록, 너희가 도구로써 나를 섬기기 원하면, 너희 자신을 남김 없이 나에게 헌신해야만 함을 너희는 더욱 이해할 수 있을 것이다. 왜냐면 너희의 모든 물질 세계와 연결이 내가 너희를 통해 역사하는 일을 방해하기 때문이다. 이로써 너희는 영적인 추구에 해당되지 않는, 즉 함께 영적 목표에 도달하려고 시도하지 않는, 고정된 연결로부터 얼마나 자유롭게 돼야 하는지, 이 문제에 대한 설명을 받았다. 나의 제자들은 아내와 자녀들을 나를 섬기기 위해 떠나야만 했고, 이렇게 했기 때문에 나는 그들을 축복했다.

(1948년 9월 21일) 나를 목표로 하는 사람은 시선을 뒤로 돌려서는 안 된다. 영의 나라를 추구하는 사람은 세상을 극복한 것이다. 그러므로 그는 편안하게, 해를 입지 않고, 이웃 사람들에게 해를 끼치지 않고, 세상을 벗어날 수 있다. 왜냐면 그가 지금까지 돌보던 사람을 내가 돌보기 때문이다. 그러면 나는 그의 이 땅의 과제를 쉽게 만들어, 동시에 단지 영적인 일을, 즉 이웃사람에게 이 땅의 삶의 목적과 목표를 알게 해주는 일을 할 수 있을 만큼 공급할 것이다.

내가 이 일을 위해 나의 제자가 필요하면, 이 과제가 그들에게 가장 중요한 일다. 그러면 그들은 이 일을 하는데 방해가 될 수 있는 것을 안심하고 버려야 하고, 그들은 자신을 자유롭게 해야 하고, 나의 올바른 제자로서, 염려하지 않고 나의 말씀을 선포해야 한다. 나보다 세상을 더 사랑하는 사람은 종말의 때의 나의 제자로 합당하지 않다. 왜냐면 그가 두 주인을 섬길 수 없기 때문이다. 그는 세상을 섬기면서 동시에 나를 추구할 수 없다. 더 이상 옛날로 돌아가지 않고, 세상의 재물을 위해 나의 재물을 전적으로 희생시키지 않는 나의 종으로 내가 그를 영접하기 전에, 결별이 먼저 이뤄져야만 한다. 나보다 앞세우는 어떠한 것이 있는 동안에는 내가 그 안에서, 그의 곁에서, 분명하게 역사할 수 없다. 그러므로 그는 종말 전의 마지막 때에 나에게 올바른 제자가 되기 위해 남김 없이 세상을 극복해야만 한다.

Disciples of the end time.... earthly relationship.... God's worry about family....

Just as the disciples had to separate from their families, from house and farm, in order to follow Me, so the last disciples must also be prepared to give up everything if they hear the gentle call in their hearts to work for Me. Their love for Me must be so great that they will not prefer any earthly bond to Me, only then can they work as My true disciples on My behalf. As long as they are still bound by earth they cannot hear the inner voice which, however, is absolutely necessary in order to spread My word, in order to be able to teach their fellow human beings. Nothing may be dearer to you than My word, the expression of My love for you, and you must gladly and joyfully and at all times be willing to hear My word, directly or also indirectly. The more you have gained insight into the spiritual, into the eternal truth, the more you will understand that you must completely give yourselves to Me if you want to serve Me as an instrument, for every connection between you and the material world prevents Me from working through you. And thus you also have an explanation about the problem of how far My servants should remain free from firm ties which do not apply to spiritual striving, thus do not strive to achieve a common spiritual aim. My disciples had to leave their wives and children in order to follow Me, and I blessed them for it....

(21.9.1948) Anyone who has Me as his aim must not send his eyes backwards, anyone who strives towards the spiritual kingdom has overcome the world and can therefore also calmly leave the world without harming or damaging his fellow human beings. For then I will take over the care for his own, whom he has looked after until now. Then I will also make his earthly task easy for him and only assign it to him to such an extent that he can do spiritual work at the same time, i.e. inform his fellow human beings of the purpose and aim of earthly life. If I need My disciples for this, this task is their most important, but then they should confidently relinquish what could prevent them from carrying out this work. They shall set themselves free and now proclaim My word as My true disciples and be without worry.... But anyone who loves the world more than Me is not suitable as My disciple in the last days, for he cannot serve two masters, he cannot pay tribute to the world and strive towards Me at the same time; the separation must first be completed before I can accept him as My servant who will no longer backslide and for whom My goods offer full compensation for the world's goods. But as long as there is still something which is placed before Me I cannot obviously work in and on him, and therefore he must have completely overcome the world in order to be a true disciple for Me in the last days before the end....
