서로 다른 교파. 하나님으로부터 온 진리.

너희 모두는 진리 안에 서기를 원한다. 그러나 서로 다른 영적인 방향을 대변한다. 그러므로 너희는 진리는 단지 하나이기 때문에, 모든 영적인 교파들은 어느 정도까지 자신들이 진리를 대변한다는 주장을 할 수 있는 지 시험을 받아야만 한다는 것을 인정해야만 한다. 서로 다른 방향이 서로 대립하는 동안에는, 어느 편이 진리를 대변하는 지 질문할 권리가 있다. 모든 교파가 자신들이 진리를 대변한다고 주장하기를 원하고, 어느 교파도 다른 교파의 견해를 받아들이기 원하지 않는다. 그러므로 진지한 시험을 해봐야만 한다. 즉 가르치는 내용의 기원을 헤아려 봐야만 하고, 결국에는 항상 인간의 생각의 내용에 기초하고 있음이 밝혀지게 될 것이다. 인간의 생각이 하나님을 섬기려는 의지로 진리를 갈망하는 사람에게 주어진 것이면, 인간의 생각이 실제 진리에 합당할 수 있다.

그러나 하나님 자신이 진리를 전해줘야만 한다는 점을 고려해야만 한다. 왜냐면 하나님 자신이 영원한 진리이기 때문이다. 그러므로 모든 지식의 근원은 항상 하나님이어야만 하고, 하나님으로 머물러야만 한다. 그러므로 단지 하나의 진리만이 있을 수 있다. 다시 말해 하나님께 진리를 구하고, 하나님의 영에 의해 가르침을 받은 모든 사람은 같은 지식을 받게 될 것이다. 그러므로 서로 다른 가르침이 있을 수가 없다. 왜냐면 하나님으로부터 온 진리의 특성은 진리가 모든 면에서 위에서 사람에게 직접 제공된 말씀과 일치하기 때문이다. 이런 하나님의 말씀은 단지 사랑을 행하는 삶을 사는 사람이 받을 수 있고, 하나님의 영을 통해 사람 안에서 역사하는 하나님의 역사를 믿는 믿음이 그가 생각을 통해 또는 음성으로 들을 수 있는 자신 안의 음성에 귀를 기울이게 하는 사람이 받을 수 있다.

그러므로 영적 지식의 기원이 증명할 수 있게 내면의 음성이고, 지식을 외부로부터 얻은 것이 아니고, 이로써 선생을 이 세상에 속하지 않는 선생으로 인정해야만 하는 곳에서 얻은 지식은 절대적인 진리라는 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 이런 지식에 기초한 교파는 올바른 교파로 여길 수 있고, 이웃 사람에게 대변할 수 있다. 반면에 이성을 통해 얻은 영적인 지식은 염려없이 받아드려서는 안 된다. 또는 그런 지식이 순수한 진리와 어느 정도 일치하는 지 먼저 확인해야만 한다.

모든 영적인 교파가 하나님께 가까이 나가려는 추구를 하고, 따라서 진리에 가까이 다가가려는 추구를 한다는 것을 항상 인정해야 하고, 그들이 항상 단지 올바른 길로 가는 것이 아님을 인정해야 한다. (1948년 5월 13일) 올바른 길은 그들이 사랑을 행하고, 하나님께 영을 깨우쳐 주기를 구하고, 영의 나라에서 이제 그들에게 흘러주는 생각에 주의를 기울이는 길이다. 이 길은 그들을 확실하게 목표로 인도할 것이고, 그들 자신의 사고 활동을 통해 얻었다고 믿는 그들의 지식은 진리와 일치하게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 그들이 하나님 자신에 의해 가르침을 받기 때문이다. 하나님은 진리를 진지하게 갈망하는 모든 사람에게 진리를 전해준다.

Different spiritual directions.... truth from God....

You all want to stand in the truth and yet represent different schools of thought. And thus you must admit, since there is only one truth, that every school of thought must be examined as to how far it can lay claim to truth. As long as different schools of thought are opposed to each other, the question is also justified as to which of them represents the truth. Each wants to claim it for itself and none wants to accept the view of the others. And so a serious examination must be made, and the origin of what is taught must be fathomed. And in the end it will turn out that they are always based on human views, that the schools of thought represent knowledge which was merely human thought. Admittedly, such knowledge can also correspond to the truth as soon as it was conveyed to the person who desired truth in the will to serve God. But it has to be considered that God Himself has to distribute the truth because He is the eternal truth Himself. And thus the origin of all knowledge must always be and remain God, and therefore there can only be one truth, i.e. all who request the truth from God and are instructed by God's spirit will receive the same knowledge. And therefore there cannot be different teachings, for this is the characteristic of truth from God, that it corresponds in everything with the word directly conveyed to the human being from above, which can only be received by a person who lives in love and whose faith in God's working in the human being through His spirit also causes him to listen to the voice in him which can be heard mentally or also in sound. Thus, where the origin of spiritual knowledge is demonstrably the inner voice, where knowledge was acquired without external supply, where a teacher who is not of this world has to be acknowledged, absolute truth can also be concluded, and a school of thought based on such knowledge can be regarded as right and represented to fellow human beings, whereas spiritual knowledge acquired intellectually may not be accepted unquestioningly or first has to be examined as to what extent it corresponds to pure truth. Although it must always be acknowledged that all schools of thought strive to come close to God and thus to the truth, they do not always take the right path....

(13.5.1948) that they are lovingly active and approach God for enlightenment of the spirit and then pay attention to the thoughts which now flow towards them from the spiritual kingdom. This path would certainly lead them to the aim, their knowledge, which they believe to have acquired through their own mental activity, will correspond to the truth, for then they will be taught by God Himself, Who imparts the truth to anyone who seriously desires it....
