거짓 교리를 없애는 일. 저항. 기도.

가장 작은 저항이 영적인 존재의 역사를 방해한다. 인간의 의지가 이제 동의하기 어려운 것을 영접하는 일을 거부한다면, 하나님으로부터 온 영은 계시해줄 수 없다. 그러므로 인간의 의지가 영적인 존재를 향해 추구하는 곳에서 정체되는 일이 일어난다. 이런 일은 사람이 이미 하나님으로부터 온 영이 선포하기를 원하는 것과 모순되는 의견을 갖게 된 경우에 일어나게 될 것이다. 그러므로 이전에 학교 교육과 같은 방식으로 얻은 가르침으로부터 자신을 전적으로 해방시킬 수 없는 사람은 영적인 계시를 받기에 부적합하지 못하게 될 것이다.

사람들이 그런 생각을 벗어나는 일은 어렵다. 그들이 자신이 가진 지식을 의심하기 시작할 때, 그들이 모순에 직면하고, 이제 진지하게 자신이 가진 지식에 대해 생각할 때, 비로소 생각을 바꾸도록 그들에게 역사할 수 있다. 이런 그들의 생각을 수정해주고, 올바르게 인도하는 일은 사람이 단지 숙고하고, 진리를 구하는 순간만을 기다리는 저세상의 영들의 과제이다. 그러나 확고하게 영접한 가르침을 버리게 하는 일은 사람 자신이 그런 가르침을 의심하지 않는 한 불가능한 일이다. 왜냐면 진리를 향한 의지가 스스로 일해야만 하기 때문이다. 그런 일은 그가 지금까지 가졌던 견해가 흔들리게 될 때 일어난다.

그러므로 저세상의 친구들이 먼저 잘못된 믿음을 흔들기 위해 노력한다. 사람이 지금까지 주장하던 것에 대해 불확실성을 느끼는 상태가 되야만 한다. 그러면 빛의 존재가 즉시 개입하여, 끊임 없이 새로운 의심과 모순을 기억하게 하고, 이로 인해 사람이 질문을 하고, 생각하게 만든다. 그러면 비로소 빛의 존재들이 사람에게 영적인 설명을 해주는 활동을 시작할 수 있다. 그러나 아직 여전히 저항이 있게 될 것이고, 옛 가르침이 사람에게 더 굳게 뿌리를 내리고 있을 수록, 더 많은 저항이 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 사람의 생각에 의해 이미 소유한 영적인 재물을 기억에서 제거하기가 어렵기 때문이다. 그 자리에 다른 지혜를 두는 일은 어려운 일이고, 항상 또 다시 옛 생각이 나타날 것이다.

모든 영의 역사는 사람이 영의 역사에 적게 저항을 할수록, 더 큰 성공을 하게 될 것이다. 그러므로 하나님을 향한 긴밀한 헌신이 필요하고, 순수한 진리 안에서 가르침을 받으려는 의지가 필요하다. 그러면 비로소 하나님의 힘이 인간을 충만하게 채울 수 있고, 오류를 깨닫게 할 수 있다. 그는 이제 지금까지 가졌던 가르침이나 그의 지식으로부터 더 쉽게 자유롭게 될 것이고, 그가 그 모든것을 완전히 버리기 전에, 먼저 그 모든 것을 버려야만 하는 것으로 여겨야만 한다. 그러므로 가장 긴밀한 기도가 전제 조건이다. 그가 이제 하나님께 어린 아이처럼 진정으로 내면의 깨달음을 구할 수 있다면, 하나님은 이런 기도에 응답할 것이고, 그에게 깨달음의 능력을 주어, 이로써 사람이 갑자기 빛과 같이 선명하게 진리를 진리로 깨닫게 된다. 그는 이제 진리를 절대로 포기하지 않기 위해 진리를 소유하게 된다.

Eradicating false teachings.... resistance.... prayer....

The slightest resistance hinders spiritual activity, and if the human being's will refuses to accept something that is not agreeable to him then the spirit from God cannot manifest itself, and thus stagnation occurs where the human being's will strives towards the spiritual. And this will be the case where the human being has already formed an opinion which contradicts what the spirit from God wants to proclaim. And therefore that human being will be unsuitable to receive spiritual proclamations if he cannot completely free himself from spiritual knowledge which he has previously acquired through scholastic teachings. It is difficult for people to detach themselves from such mental knowledge and it will only be possible to have a corrective mental influence on them when they start to doubt their knowledge, when they come across contradictions and then seriously reflect on them. And it is the task of the beings of light in the beyond to correct and right their train of thought, who only wait for the moment when the human being ponders and questions and seeks the truth. Yet it is impossible to eradicate a firmly accepted teaching as long as the human being himself does not doubt it, for the will for truth has to become active itself, and this only occurs when he begins to waver in his previous views. And that is why it is the endeavour of the friends in the beyond to first shake the wrong belief. A state must arise where the human being feels a certain uncertainty about what he has held up to now, then the beings of light immediately intervene and constantly bring new doubts and contradictions to his mind, and these make the human being question and reflect. And only then can the activity of the beings of light begin to mentally enlighten him. And yet even then there will still be resistance; the more firmly the old teachings are rooted in the human being, for it is difficult to remove spiritual knowledge from the memory which had already taken possession of the human being's thinking. It is difficult to put other wisdom in its place, the old thinking will always push itself forward.... Every spiritual activity will be all the more successful the less resistant the person reacts to it, and therefore a heartfelt devotion to God is necessary and the will to be instructed in the pure truth, only then can the power of God flow through the person, let him recognize the wrong, and he will now more easily free himself from the previous teachings or his knowledge. He must first find everything reprehensible before he can completely separate himself from it. And that is why the most heartfelt prayer is a prerequisite.... If a person can truly and childlike pray to God for inner enlightenment, God will answer this prayer and give him the power of knowledge so that he suddenly recognizes the truth as such lightly and clearly and he now appropriates it in order to never give it up....
