하나님의 말씀에 순종하라. 하나님의 말씀의 능력.

다음을 적으라: 위에서 주는 말씀을 감사하게 받아들여야만 하고, 이제 말씀의 힘으로 역사하기 위해 심장으로 깊이 헤아려 봐야만 한다. 기록된 말씀이 이제 역사해야 하고, 사람들의 생각을 자극하고, 사람들이 말씀대로 살게 해야 한다. 이제 하나님의 말씀의 역사는 사람들을 고귀하게 하고, 사랑을 행하도록 양육하고, 하나님과 빛과 진리를 추구하게 만들 것이다.

단지 하나님의 말씀을 받는 일만으로는 충분하지 않다. 사람은 이제 모든 것을 실천해야만 하고, 이를 위해 그가 구해야만 하는 힘이 필요하다. 다시 말해 사람은 하나님의 말씀에 순종할 수 있기 위해 항상 기도가 필요하다. 왜냐하면 사람의 힘이 부족하지만, 그러나 힘을 요청하면, 측량할 수 없게 힘이 증가하기 때문이다. 단지 하나님을 섬기려는 사람의 의지와, 하나님의 말씀을 받기 위해 이런 은혜에 합당하게 되려고 자신을 준비하려는 사람의 의지로 충분하다. 그러나 이제 받은 것을 영적인 소유로 만들기 위해 모든 의지를 드려야만 한다. 다시 말해 받은 것이 자신 안에서 역사하게 하기 위해서는 심장과 영이 활동해야만 한다. 동시에 사람들에게 알려진 하나님의 뜻을 성취하려는 의지가 강해야만 한다. 그러므로 하나님이 주시는 것을 활용해야만 한다. 이로써 하나님이 주신 것의 축복이 볼 수 있게 나타날 수 있게 해야 한다.

너희 안에서 하나님의 말씀이 역사하게 하는 셀 수 없는 많은 방법이 있다. 하나님이 요구하는 것에 항상 순종하기 위해서는 의지가 전제 조건이다. 이 의지가 어떻게 실천을 하는 지에 따라 사람은 하나님을 섬기려는 의지가 증가하는 일을, 깨달음의 능력이 증가하는 일을, 그리고 도움이 필요한 이웃사람을 기쁨으로 섬기는 일을 축복으로 느끼고, 힘으로 느끼게 될 것이다. 말씀이 영적인 소유가 되고, 말씀을 따르게 되면, 비로소 하나님의 말씀을 의식적으로 영접한 것이고, 행위가 없는 지식만으로는 충분하지 않다.

하나님은 자신의 선물을 깊이 감사하는 심장으로 받기를 원하고, 주의를 기울이지 않고 곁에 두기를 원하지 않는다. 그러나 인류는 실제 말씀을 듣지만, 그러나 주의를 기울이지 않고 지나친다. 그러므로 인류에게 거룩한 하나님을 깨달을 힘이 부족하다. 그러므로 하나님의 말씀의 능력이 효력을 발휘할 수 없다. 따라서 하나님이 인간에게 약속대로 받을 수 있게 한 것이 진리임을 인류에게 증명할 수 없다. 그러나 하나님의 말씀대로 사는 믿음을 가진 사람은 스스로 자신 안에서 말씀의 축복을 완전하게 경험한다.

Obeying the divine word.... effectiveness of its....

Write down the following: The words, given from above, must be gratefully received and pondered in the heart in order to now also work as power. What has been written down should now have an effect.... It should stimulate people's thoughts and determine them to live according to the word. And now the effect of the divine word will also be felt by ennobling people, educating them to love and causing them to strive for God, for light and truth. Receiving the word of God alone is not enough, man must now put everything into practice, and that requires strength, which he must ask for. Thus prayer is always necessary in order to be able to obey the divine word, for man's strength is inadequate but will be increased immeasurably if it is requested. Man's will to serve God and to prepare himself to receive God's word is sufficient to be honoured with this grace. But now also the whole will must be mustered to make the received spiritual property, i.e., heart and intellect must be active to let the offered work in oneself, and at the same time the will must be strong to fulfil God's will, which is announced to men. What God gives must therefore also be utilized so that the blessing of it can become visible. And there are so many endless possibilities to allow the divine word to take effect in you.... the prerequisite is always the will to comply with what God demands. And depending on how this will is put into practice, the person will also feel the blessing and the strength as an increased will to serve God, increased power of knowledge and joyful service to the neighbour who needs his help. Only then is the word of God consciously received when it has become spiritual property and is obeyed. Knowledge alone without action is not enough. God wants His gift to be received with a deeply grateful heart and not carelessly put aside. Mankind, however, hears the word but lets it pass by unheeded.... And so it also lacks the power to regocnize the divine. Consequently, the power of the divine word cannot become effective either and therefore it will not be possible to prove to humanity the truth of what God conveys to people as a promise. However, the believing person who lives according to the word of God will fully experience the blessings of it in himself....
