잘못된 인도받은 혼들이 하나님의 구세주를 믿는 신앙으로 돌아가게 하려면, 엄청난 일을 해야만 한다. 왜냐하면 이 땅의 구세주가 참으로 가장 깊은 경건에 도달했고, 그러나 그가 단지 순수한 인간이었고, 그가 신성하다는 개념은 그의 가르침을 향한 열렬한 고백자들에 의해 형성되어 수 세기 동안 보존되었다는 견해가 이미 너무 깊숙이 뿌리를 내리고 있기 때문이다. 이런 잘못된 견해를 사람들에게 이해할 수 있게 해주고, 반박하는 일은 매우 어려운 시작이다. 왜냐하면 전체의 기간 동안 그가 행한 일에 대한 기억이 크게 사라졌기 때문이다. 사람은 단지 그 일을 전설로 깨닫기 때문이다. 이 땅에서 구세주가 행한 기적은 이제는 그를 향한 신앙을 깨우거나, 강화하는 데 이바지할 수 없기 때문이다.

오늘날 인류는 이를 이해할 수 없다는 냉정한 생각에 익숙해져 있다. 그러므로 사람들은 주저함이 없이 예수 그리스도를 하나님의 아들로 믿는 믿음을 버리고, 현재에도 그리스도의 고난과 죽음을 알려주는 모든 특별한 것들을 버리고, 병든 사람이 만들어 낸 것으로 여기고, 고민하지 않고 거부한다. 그러나 이제 세상은 사람들의 눈에 볼 수 있고 분명하게 예수님의 고통과 죽음을 알려줄 사건에 주목해야만 할 것이다. 그들이 단지 자신들의 의지를 올바르게 사용한다면. 그들은 이제 믿을 수 있는 특별한 종류의 증거를 받게 될 것이다.

그러나 그곳에서도 인간의 과학이 감히 희귀한 현상을 향한 해답을 찾거나 설명하려고 할 것이다. 인간의 과학이 구세주 주님을 향한 모든 믿음을 새롭게 흔들고 파괴하려고 할 것이다. 그러나 하나님의 사랑이 영적인 위험 속에 있는 사람들에게 끊임없이 도움을 주고, 그들에게 암시 위에 암시를 보낸다. 사람이 하나님의 성육신 문제에 주의를 기울이면 기울일수록, 그가 올바른 길로 인도받는다는 확신을 더 많이 가질 수 있다. 그러나 사람이 하나님의 성육신에 대해 완전히 무관심한 경우, 그리스도에게 향하는 일은 말할 수 없을 정도로 어렵고, 저세상의 영의 세력도 많은 일을 할 수 없다. 그러므로 일반적인 관심 부족이 먼저 정반대로 바뀌는 일이 매우 성공적인 일이고, 중요한 일이다. 지금까지 행해왔던, 이른바 기계적인 예배가, 사람들이 생각하도록 자극해주기 위해, 어떤 종류의 결정을 내리게 하려면, 강하게 흔들리게 되어야만 하는 일이 매우 성공적인 일이고, 중요한 일이다.

어떤 것을 포기해야만 할 위험이 있을 때, 사람은 그것이 자신에게 얼마나 가치 있는 것인지를 깨닫는다. 그는 쉽게 소유로부터 분리되거나 소유한 것을 지키기 위해 싸우기 시작한다. 사람이 자유롭게 결정을 내리고, 기독교가 공격받는 문제에 주의를 기울이도록 하기 위한 목적으로 주님이 바로 모든 기독교에 대항하는 싸움을 허용한다. 예수 그리스도를 고백하는 사람들의 숫자는 예수 그리스도에게 자원하여 또는 의식적으로 동의하지 않는 사람들에 비해 실제 매우 적다. 그러나 눈이 먼 가운데 사는 사람들을 멸망으로부터 구원하기 위해 그들에게 아직 많은 암시가 주어질 것이다. 이 세상과 또한 저세상에서 이런 모든 혼을 얻기 위한 말할 수 없는 투쟁을 해야만 하게 될 것이다.

Divinity of Jesus.... strange sign of Jesus' suffering and death.... admission against christianity....

An immense amount of work has to be done if the misguided souls are to find their way back to faith in the divine redeemer, for the view is already too deeply rooted that the saviour on earth was indeed permeated by profound piety but that He was of purely human origin and that the concept of His divinity was formed by overzealous followers of His teachings and has persisted for centuries. It is very difficult to begin to make people understand the error of this opinion and to refute it, for throughout time the memory of His deeds has faded considerably.... they are only remembered as legends, and thus the miracles of the saviour on earth can no longer contribute to awakening or strengthening faith in Him. Humanity today is so used to sober thinking that it has no understanding for this and therefore gives up faith in Jesus Christ as the son of God without any hesitation and summarily portrays everything extraordinary that would like to point to Christ's suffering and death at the present time as the spawn of sick people and thus rejects it. But now the world will have to take notice of an event which will obviously and evidently make people aware of Jesus' suffering and death, and they will be given evidence of such a strange kind that it should be easy for them to believe if only they use their will correctly. Yet human science will again try to solve or explain this strange phenomenon and will try to shake and destroy all faith in the lord and saviour anew. Yet God's love is constantly intent on helping people's spiritual hardship and sends them hints upon hints, and the more attentively the human being pays attention to precisely this problem of God's incarnation, the more convinced he can be that he will be pointed to the right path. But where one is completely indifferent towards Him, turning to Christ is unspeakably difficult and the spiritual powers of the beyond do not have much effect either. That is why it is extremely successful and important that the general indifference first changes into the opposite.... that what has been up to now, the mechanical practice of the so-called divine service, has to suffer a strong shock in order to stimulate people to think and to cause them to make some kind of decision. Only when there is the danger of having to give something away does the human being realize to what extent such a thing is valuable to him.... he either parts with it easily or begins to fight for the possession, and this is also the purpose of all the fights against christianity, which are permitted by God precisely for the purpose that the human being should decide freely and pay attention to the problem in general. The number of those who profess Jesus Christ is truly very small compared to those who willingly or consciously renounce Him, but many a hint will still be given to them in order to save from destruction what is walking in blindness. And it will still be necessary to struggle unspeakably for the souls, both on this side and on the other....
