Profeti autentici e falsi

Qualunque cosa verrà intrapresa per spingere via la Verità, lei riporterà comunque la vittoria, benché l’errore richieda innumerevoli sacrifici. Ma chi ha una seria volontà di giungere alla Verità, riconosce certamente anche l’errore come tale, ed allora non vi è nemmeno nessun pericolo per lui. Ma che la maggior parte degli uomini cada nell’errore si spiega con il fatto che l’errore promette agli uomini sempre certi vantaggi, siano questi spirituali o terreni. Gli uomini sono sempre interessati a procurarsi dei vantaggi, non amano la Verità per via della Verità, ma per loro deve esserci sempre collegato un vantaggio, soltanto allora sono anche disposti ad accettarla. La pura Verità mette tutto chiaro e limpido davanti agli occhi, e può perciò portare per l’uomo degli svantaggi in quanto gli mostra quanto deve ancora superare, se per lui il mondo ed il suo benessere terreno significa ancora troppo. E per questo trova anche poca accettazione, perciò l’uomo è disposto ad accettare di più l’errore, soprattutto quando questo gli promette inoltre dei vantaggi oppure gli viene incontro ai suoi desideri. E così gli uomini non vogliono nemmeno sapere o sentire di una rovina della Terra, di uno svanire di ogni vita e di tutte le Creazioni sulla Terra. Ma quello che viene offerto loro sotto il mantello della Verità, ciò che dà loro ancora un barlume di speranza che si possa fermare la fine, lo accettano e lo rappresentano come Verità. Ma rifiutano la pura Verità, che li obbliga a dei doveri di prepararsi ad una sicura fine. Si troveranno sempre dei profeti che annunciano la fine su Incarico di Dio, ma anche quelli che parlano su incarico del Suo avversario e cercano di indebolire come falsi profeti quegli Annunci, che fanno delle promesse agli uomini, e fanno loro notare la sicura fine, ma cercano di rappresentarla come evitabile. Questi falsi profeti troveranno sempre più consenso, perché gli uomini non vogliono credere che venga una fine, e perciò accettano piuttosto quegli insegnamenti, che promettono dei vantaggi, che non li svegliano dai loro sogni spaventandoli. Chi vive nella totale ignoranza, avrà anche difficoltà di giudicare che cos’è l’errore e che cosa è la Verità. Ma chi è già iniziato nel sapere spirituale, deve prendere questo soltanto come pietra d’esame per la Verità e, per l’errore e chiedersi quale scopo ha un insegnamento e che cosa persegue, se vuole trasmettere agli uomini una conoscenza superiore, se vuole raggiungere la nobilitazione del suo essere, se lo vuole aiutare a staccarsi dalla materia, allora è anche di Origine divina e può essere rappresentata come Verità. Se invece è riconoscibile l’intenzione di creare un benessere terreno migliore e più bello, cosa che avviene anche sovente sotto il mantello della devozione, allora tali insegnamenti possono essere rifiutati senza preoccupazione come erronei, perché allora vengono messi nel mondo dall’avversario di Dio. Nel tempo della fine si faranno avanti molti falsi profeti su incarico dell’avversario di Dio, perché né l’avversario né il suo seguito vogliono credere alla fine. E così anche quegli uomini che contano su una fine, devono essere raggirati da lui, perciò egli vorrà gettarli nella confusione, mentre mette a confronto gli Annunci di profeti veri ad espressione di profeti falsi. E perciò nel tempo della fine l’oscurità diventerà sempre più fitta, e chi ha già una Luce, la deve proteggere, affinché non gli venga spenta, e lo può anche, se il suo amore per la Verità è forte, quando per lui esiste soltanto Dio e la Sua Parola. Ma se non si accontenta dello splendore mite della Luce d’Amore divina, i suoi occhi cercano delle luci d’abbaglio, ed allora non si cura più della piccola Luce, che gli splende nell’oscura notte. Allora questa gli può venire facilmente spenta dall’avversario di Dio, allora a lui è riuscito il suo trucco, è apparso da angelo di luce ed ha trovato le sue vittime. In questi uomini ha poi vinto il desiderio del mondo, perché ciò che l’avversario sottopone a loro, gli uomini preferiscono sentire questo, perché mette in dubbio una fine della Terra, il repentino svanire, la fine dell’epoca vecchia e l’inizio di una nuova, e fa credere agli uomini, che loro stessi possono decidere il loro futuro. Loro bramano questo vantaggio, e già in questo si riconosce l’agire di Satana, che con ciò fa credere agli uomini, di poter fermare ed evitare l’esecuzione del Piano di Salvezza di Dio. Anche questo agire fa parte di segni visibili della fine, e l’avversario di Dio intraprenderà ancora molti attacchi contro la Verità, ed egli sarà attivo in particolare là dove non trova rifiuto mediante un assoluto desiderio per la Verità. Perché dove la menzogna non viene riconosciuta, là egli ha gioco facile. Ma non potrà ingannare coloro che sono attivi per Dio e per il Suo Incarico, perché questi sono illuminati dal Suo Spirito e perciò sapranno sempre distinguere la Verità dall’errore.

True and false prophets....

No matter what is done to displace the truth, it will nevertheless prevail, even though misconceptions will claim countess victims. Yet anyone with serious intentions will find the truth, he will also clearly recognise misconception as such, and it will be of no further danger to him. The fact that people generally fall prey to error is understandable, since error always promises certain advantages to a person, be they of a spiritual or an earthly nature.... And people are always interested in gaining advantages, they do not love truth for the sake of truth, it always has to involve a benefit for them, only then are they willing to accept it. Pure truth, however, presents everything clearly and openly and can also result in a person’s disadvantage if the world, his earthly well-being, still means too much to him. For this reason it often meets with little approval, this is why the human being rather accepts error than truth, since he always hopes to gain a certain advantage, because error is more inclined to comply with his wishes.

And thus people don’t want to know or hear about a destruction of earth, of an end of all life and creations on earth.... And what they are now offered under the cover of truth, what is still giving them a small ray of hope that the end is avoidable, will be accepted by them and they rather support this than the pure truth which, after all, would make them feel committed to prepare themselves for a definite end.... There will always be prophets who proclaim the end on behalf of God. There will also be those who speak on behalf of his adversary who, being false prophets, will try to invalidate those proclamations, who make promises to people but do not draw their attention to the certain end and instead try to make out that it can be avoided. And again, these prophets will meet with greater approval because people don’t want an end to come, thus they rather accept teachings which promise them an advantage....

Completely ignorant people will find it difficult to differentiate between lies and truth. But a person who has already been initiated into spiritual knowledge need only question, as a criterion of truth and fallacy, the purpose of a doctrine.... what it aims to achieve.... If it wants to impart more knowledge to a person, if it wants to achieve the improvement of his character, if it helps him to detach himself from matter, then it is of divine origin and has to be valued as truth. If, however, it intends to create a better earthly living standard, which often takes place under the guise of piety, the teaching can be unhesitatingly rejected as misguided and having originated from God’s adversary.

But during the last days many false prophets will come forward on his behalf, because neither the adversary nor his followers want to admit to an end. And thus, even people who consider an end will be fooled by him again. He will plunge them into confusion, he will argue the proclamations of true prophets with proclamations of false prophets, since during the last days the darkness will steadily intensify and anyone in possession of light should protect it from getting extinguished, which can be done if his love for truth is strong, if he just holds on to God and His Word.

But anyone who is not content with the soft light of God’s love will search for deceptive lights and won’t take care of the small light which glows in the darkness of night.... And then it can be easily extinguished by God’s adversary, and his deception was successful. He himself appeared as an angel of light and found his victims: The world and the desire for it have triumphed. People rather listen to what he has to say because it casts doubt on an end of the earth, on the end of the old and the beginning of a new era, thus it makes people believe that they are in control of it themselves. They recognise this advantage, and the mere fact that he makes people believe that they can delay or avert the implementation of God’s plan of Salvation identifies Satan’s activity.... However, this activity is also part of the visible indication of the end, and he will undertake many more attacks against the truth, and he will get especially busy where he finds no resistance due to an absolute desire for truth.... Because that is where the lie is not recognised, and where he has an easy game. But he will not be able to deceive those who work for God and on His behalf, for they are enlightened by His spirit and will always be able to differentiate between truth and error....
