Inevitabile la lotta dell’esistenza

Una vita terrena calma significherebbe per la maggior parte degli uomini un arresto o persino una retrocessione spirituale, perché allora raramente l’uomo diventerebbe attivo per il suo perfezionamento spirituale, perché la vita terrena lo soddisfa completamente, cioè, gli basta quando gli offre in cose terrene ciò che gli basta. Il suo amore dell’io troverebbe quindi sempre del nutrimento ed anche la sorte dei prossimi non gli offrirebbe nessuna occasione per attivarsi nel servire nel disinteresse. La vita terrena è un periodo di prova per la volontà dell’uomo. Ma per potersi mettere alla prova, deve essere stimolato da diversi lati. Quindi ogni inclinazione nell’uomo deve essere stimolata ed ora la volontà deve determinare, quali impulsi adempiere. E questo richiede anche una situazione di vita che cambia costantemente, richiede costanti stimoli e costanti insuccessi, che ora invitano l’uomo ad una cosciente lotta di vita, che può essere svolta soltanto terrenamente, che però può anche essere un’influenza sulla vita interiore. Quindi l’uomo può lasciare passare da sé tutte le opportunità. Soltanto una costante lotta di vita fa diventare attivo l’uomo, prima richiedendo la sua forza vitale, che può però essere anche usata per ottenere la forza spirituale. Un’esistenza terrena senza lotta lascerebbe inutilizzata anche la forza vitale, ed un’esistenza senza lotta accenderebbe soltanto nei casi più rari l’amore nel cuore degli uomini, che lo spinge all’azione d’amore. Gli uomini condurrebbero soltanto un’esistenza da fannullone e non riconoscerebbero uno scopo della loro esistenza, che consiste nel cambiamento dell’amore dell’io nell’amore per il prossimo, perché lo vede nella stessa buona situazione di vita e non ha nessun motivo, di mostrargli l’amore. D’altra parte può però procurarsi una vita terrena tranquilla, quando si sforza di pareggiare l’ineguaglianza tra gli uomini con l’amore, quando cerca quindi di eliminare gli stati di miseria per via della maturazione dell’anima mediante un’attività d’amore disinteressato e mette sé stesso quindi in uno stato di maturità che gli assicura una vita terrena spensierata, perché ha generalmente sostenuta la prova della volontà sulla Terra: di stabilire il legame con Me mediante l’amore, che è e rimane lo scopo e la meta della vita terrena. La Terra è la stazione di maturazione per lo spirituale, che entra nella Terra in uno stato ancora molto immaturo: Quindi non può ancora essere un soggiorno paradisiaco mediante la $$Mia$$ Volontà, ma lo potrebbe diventare mediante la volontà degli uomini, se soltanto ognuno tendesse ad adempiere dapprima il suo compito terreno di formarsi nell’amore. Ma per questo gli devono anche essere procurate delle possibilità che consistono, nel prestare disinteressato aiuto per dei prossimi che si trovano nella miseria. Perché in queste occasioni devono dimostrare il loro amore per Me ed il prossimo. Ma allora ogni uomo può anche essere certo, che peseranno sempre meno miserie e preoccupazioni su di lui, ed allora anche la Terra potrebbe essere veramente un soggiorno paradisiaco per tutti gli uomini, se tutto fosse colmato d’amore. La Terra è una stazione di scuola, che ogni uomo deve percorrere. Egli entra in lei immaturo, e maturato la deve di nuovo lasciare. Ed un successo premette anche sempre un duro lavoro, una vittoria sarà sempre il risultato di una lotta precedente. Ma la meta è veramente meravigliosa, la volontà dell’uomo può raggiungere questa meta.

Struggle for existence is essential....

A leisurely earthly life would mean, for most people, spiritual standstill or even regression, since then the human being would only rarely actively consider his spiritual perfection because his earthly life would completely fulfil him, that is, he would be satisfied if it offered him what he physically needs. Thus his selfish love would constantly be sustained and neither would his fellow human beings' fate offer him any opportunity of helping them and of being selflessly active. Earthly life is a time for testing the human being's will. But in order to prove itself it must be stimulated from different directions.... Consequently, every instinct in the human being has to be addressed and the will has to determine which instincts should be granted satisfaction. And that requires repeatedly changing circumstances, it requires constant stimuli and also constant failures, which thus determine the human being's conscious battle of life. This can be purely physically directed but can also influence his inner life and so the human being can avail himself of all opportunities to mature fully.... but also let such opportunities pass him by. Only a constant battle of life propels a human being into action, at first only demanding his energy of life which he, however, can also use for attaining spiritual strength. An earthly existence without a fight would, in fact, leave his vitality unused, since a peaceful earthly existence would only very rarely kindle the love in people's heart which impels someone into kind-hearted activity. People would purely live idle lives and not recognise a purpose for their existence, which consists of changing their selfish love into love for their neighbour. For he sees that his neighbour's situation is just as good as his own and has no reason to prove his love for him.

On the other hand, however, he can create a peaceful earthly life for himself if he endeavours to balance the existing disparity amongst people with love, if he tries to remedy desperate situations, which for the sake of the soul's maturing have to exist, through unselfish activity of love and thus places himself into a state of maturity which will result in a carefree life on earth, because he has passed his test of will at the same time: to establish a bond with Me through love.... which is and will remain the purpose and goal of earthly existence.... Earth is a place to mature for the soul which enters the earth still in a very immature state. Hence it cannot be a paradise-like abode as yet as a result of My will, but it could become a paradise-like abode as a result of people's will.... if only everyone strived to comply with his earthly task of shaping himself into love.... for which, however, the opportunities must be created for him, and these consist of carrying out selfless deeds of love for fellow human beings suffering adversity. For thereby you demonstrate your love for Me and your neighbour. But then every person can be certain that ever less distress and worries will burden him and the earth could truly be a paradise-like abode for all people, if love pervaded all of them. Earth is a place of education which every human being has to undergo.... He enters it in an immature state and should leave it fully mature again .... And success will at all times also presuppose hard work; victory will always be the crowning of a battle that took place before.... But the goal is a glorious one indeed, and people's will can achieve this goal....
