Il valore del sapere spirituale e terreno

E’ un sapere voluminoso che viene guidato a voi su via spirituale, è $$questo$$ sapere che voi uomini da soli, intellettualmente, non potrete mai conquistare, perché vi dà il chiarimento su domande che vi potrebbe dare nessun uomo che a sua volta non sia stato istruito $$spiritualmente$$. Ma voi uomini potete anche porre delle domande su tutto, avrete la Risposta, se scegliete la via spirituale, se chiedete a Dio Stesso che Egli vi ammaestri. Ma il sapere deve sempre essere per la vostra Benedizione; deve contribuire alla maturazione della vostra anima. Tutto ciò che aiuta l’anima a questo, ve lo guida Dio Stesso appena lo chiedete ed aiuta l’anima alla maturità tutto ciò che vi dà il chiarimento sul collegamento del Creatore con le Sue creature, sul senso e lo scopo della Creazione e su Dio ed il Creatore dall’Eternità. Quindi sono sempre regioni spirituali che vengono rese accessibili a voi uomini, quando vi viene guidato il sapere sulla “Verità”. Questo dato di fatto deve essere per voi contemporaneamente una indicazione, che il sapere terreno ha solo un valore apparente, che non deve essere sopravalutato oppure a cui non dev’essere $$aspirato$$ $$di$$ $$più$$ a spese del sapere spirituale, perché non porta $$l’anima$$ nessun passo avanti nel suo sviluppo. Può bensì avere anche una Benedizione per il tempo terreno dell’uomo e cioè, quando un uomo che tende spiritualmente mette il suo sapere terreno al servizio dei prossimi, quando vede il suo compito terreno nell’aiutare il prossimo e perciò si appropria un sapere terreno senza dimenticare Dio, ma prepone Lui davanti a tutti i suoi studi. Costui sarà davvero benedetto in modo spirituale e terreno, a lui verrà aggiunto terrenamente, perché tende dapprima allo spirituale. Malgrado ciò lo renderà più felice il patrimonio spirituale che gli viene trasmesso dal mondo dello Spirito, perché rivolge il suo sguardo all’Eternità. Gli fa riconoscere lo scopo della sua vita terrena e perciò crea molto di più per il mondo spirituale che per quello terreno ed opera comunque anche in questo per la Benedizione. Affidatevi a costoro, perché vi possono dare molto. Ma gli uomini che vivono solo per il mondo e stanno lontani dall’esperienza spirituale, sono come morti, alberi infruttuosi, che non possono dare nulla di ciò che può essere di salvezza per il prossimo, benché possiedano in ultramisura il sapere terreno. Sono beni perituri, senza valore, perché $$scompaiono$$ con la morte dell’uomo, mentre i beni spirituali, il sapere spirituale, rimangono nell’Eternità e significano per l’anima Luce e conoscenza che la renderanno felice eternamente.

Value of spiritual and earthly knowledge....

It is extensive knowledge which can be conveyed to you spiritually.... it is knowledge which you humans alone, intellectually, will never be able to gain, for it gives you information about questions which no human being who has not been spiritually instructed again could answer. But you humans may also ask questions about everything.... You will receive answers if you choose the spiritual path.... if you ask God Himself to instruct you. But knowledge must always be a blessing for you; it must help your soul to mature.... God Himself will provide you with everything that helps the soul to do so, as soon as you request it, and everything that provides information about the creator's connection with His living creations, about the meaning and purpose of creation and about God and the creator of eternity will help the soul to mature.... So it is always spiritual areas which are made accessible to you humans when the knowledge of 'truth' is supplied to you. This fact should at the same time be an indication to you that earthly knowledge only has an illusory value, that it should not be overestimated or striven for more desirably at the expense of spiritual knowledge, for it does not bring the soul one step forward in its development. It can certainly also have a beneficial effect on the human being's time on earth, namely when a spiritually striving person places his earthly knowledge at the service of his fellow human beings, when he sees his earthly task in helping his fellow human beings and therefore acquires earthly knowledge without, however, forgetting God.... but to put Him before all his studies. He will truly be blessed spiritually and earthly.... earthly knowledge will be added to him because he strives for spiritual things first. Nevertheless, he will be far more delighted with the thoughts imparted to him from the world of the spirit, for they direct his gaze into eternity.... It lets him recognize his purpose of earthly life, and therefore he creates far more for the spiritual than for the earthly world.... and yet he also works to bless this world. Entrust yourselves to them for they can give you much.... But people who only live in the world and are distant from spiritual experience are like dead, fruitless trees which are unable to give anything that can bring salvation to their fellow human beings.... even though they possess worldly knowledge in abundance.... They are transient goods, without value, because they perish with the death of the human being, whereas spiritual goods, spiritual knowledge, will remain for eternity and signify light and knowledge for the soul, which will make it happy forever....
