Il mentore spirituale

Ogni anima ha il suo mentore spirituale, la sua guida, che la vuole aiutare alla Vita eterna. Egli cerca di influenzare i pensieri dell’uomo e di rivolgerli al Regno spirituale, come però forma anche il destino della vita di costui, che possa portare ad un grande successo, ma sotto osservazione della libera volontà. Questo mentore sa ciò che serve allo sviluppo dell’anima e quello che potrebbe essere di svantaggio e perciò si sforzerà sempre di aiutare l’anima al progresso, perché è legato a lei nell’amore e la guida di quell’anima gli è stata assegnata da Dio Stesso. Lui promuove tutto ciò che serve; cerca invece di impedire tutto ciò che potrebbe nuocerle, ma sempre nella saggia conoscenza e con grande amore. Finché ora l’uomo rimane sulla Terra, comprensibilmente gli sono chiuse le sfere spirituali, anche se l’anima può lanciarsi nel Regno spirituale, ma lo fa inconsapevole dal corpo e non è nemmeno in grado di comunicare le impressioni di quelle sfere all’uomo d’intelletto, affinché potesse farsi un’immagine, che corrisponde alla Verità. Il Regno spirituale rimarrà anche un mistero all’uomo corporeo finché il corpo stesso non si è tanto spiritualizzato, che l’anima gli possa comunicare ciò che ha visto e che gli rimanga nella coscienza. Allora è raggiunto quel grado di maturità, che non rende necessaria una continuazione della vita sulla Terra, che la guida spirituale vorrebbe anche raggiungere finché l’anima rimane ancora nel corpo. Ma finché questo grado di maturità non è stato raggiunto, il mentore custodisce attentamente l’uomo d’intelletto, dal crearsi delle immagini deformate del Regno spirituale, che lo confondono solamente ma non potrebbero promuoverlo, perché l’intelletto dell’uomo ha una influenza sull’anima, se questa non ha già raggiunto il grado di maturità che possa contemplare spiritualmente. Lei stessa può bensì soggiornare nel sogno in sfere, dalle quali attinge molta Forza e Sapere, ma non porterà il ricordo nella vita terrena, finché il corpo stesso non è spiritualizzato. Il mentore spirituale erige per così dire un muro e dietro a questo muro nasconde tutto ciò che è ancora incomprensibile all’intelletto dell’uomo, mentre l’anima può superare facilmente il muro e prende visione del Regno spirituale. E questo confine viene accuratamente sorvegliato dalla parte spirituale, rimane nascosto all’intelletto dell’uomo ciò che all’anima viene mostrato liberamente, fino al momento, in cui non esiste più nessun pericolo per l’anima di dubitare, quando l’intelletto cerca di sconvolgerla. Un’anima forte, che è ricca di conoscenza, può ora anche convincere l’intelletto e confutare ogni obiezione, ma dapprima deve aver raggiunta questa maturità, allora può guardare nel Regno spirituale spensieratamente e coscientemente e comunicarsi anche all’intelletto, che ora se ne lascia istruire e non oppone nessun dubbio di fede. Chi cerca la Verità, la troverà anche, ma l’uomo deve sempre affidarsi alla guida spirituale e non cercare di penetrare arbitrariamente in un sapere, che può soltanto nuocergli, se non ha il necessario grado di maturità, per usare bene questo sapere. La sua guida spirituale conosce lo stato dell’anima e cerca di elevarlo, finché non gli viene opposta nessuna resistenza, perché non gli manca la Sapienza e l’Amore e provvede alla sua allieva in modo che sia per la sua benedizione.

Spiritual mentor....

Every soul has its spiritual mentor, its guide, who wants to help it to eternal life. He seeks to influence the human being's thoughts and turn them towards the spiritual kingdom, but he also shapes the human being's life fate such that it can lead to great success, yet with due regard for free will. This mentor knows what is beneficial for the soul's development and what could be disadvantageous for it, and therefore he will always endeavour to help the soul's progress, because he is united with it in love and the guidance over this soul has been given to him by God Himself. He promotes everything that serves it; what could be detrimental to it he tries to prevent, but always in wise knowledge and great love. As long as the human being remains on earth the spiritual spheres are closed to him intellectually; even if the soul can soar into the spiritual kingdom it still does so unconsciously to the body and is also unable to convey the impressions from these spheres to the intellectual being in such a way that he could form a picture which corresponds to the truth. The spiritual kingdom will also remain a mystery to the physical human being until the body has spiritualized itself to such an extent that the soul can communicate what it has seen and it remains in its consciousness. Then that degree of maturity is reached which makes a further life on earth unnecessary, which the spiritual leader would also like to reach as long as the soul still dwells in the body. But as soon as this degree of maturity has not yet been reached the mentor carefully guards the intellectual person against creating distorted images of the spiritual kingdom which could only confuse him but not further him, for the human being's intellect still has an influence on the soul as long as it has not already reached the degree of maturity that it is able to see spiritually. It can certainly dwell in spheres in dreams from which it draws much strength and knowledge but it will not take over the memory of it into earthly life as long as the body is not equally spiritualized. In a manner of speaking the spiritual mentor erects a wall and hides everything behind it which is still incomprehensible to the human being's intellect, whereas the soul can cross the wall unhindered and gain insight into the spiritual kingdom. And this boundary is carefully guarded by the spiritual side.... remains hidden from the human being's intellect what is unveiled to the soul.... until there is no longer any danger for the soul to fall into doubt when the intellect tries to shake it. A strong soul, which has become rich in knowledge, can now also convince the intellect and correctly refute every objection, yet it first has to have reached this maturity, then it can look unhesitatingly and consciously into the spiritual kingdom and also communicate itself to the intellect, which then likewise allows itself to be taught about it and does not oppose any doubts of faith. Anyone who seeks the truth will also find it, yet the human being should always leave himself to the spiritual guidance and not try to penetrate knowledge on his own authority, which can only harm him if he does not have the necessary degree of maturity to make proper use of the knowledge. His spiritual guide knows about the state of the soul and seeks to raise it as long as no resistance is offered to him. For he does not lack wisdom and love, and he considers his pupils in such a way that it is a blessing for them....
