L’uomo del tempo attuale – Le facoltà

Non esiste nessun’epoca di tempo che abbia avuto da registrare degli esseri così altamente sviluppati come ora e malgrado ciò, questo sviluppo verso l’Alto viene valutato nella direzione sbagliata. L’uomo del tempo attuale è passato attraverso innumerevoli stazioni di sviluppo ed ora nell’ultimo stadio ha molte facoltà che può utilizzare con il massimo successo. Una di queste facoltà è un immedesimarsi in uno stato ultraterreno. Chi si è appropriato di questa facoltà, può già parlare di un notevole stato di maturità, perché ora vive anche in quell’altro Regno, ma non porta le impressioni da questo Regno sulla Terra, dato che solo lo spirito accoglie in sé queste impressioni e le dà oltre solamente quando l’anima dell’uomo è rispettivamente istruita, che possa comprendere l’esperienza nel Regno spirituale ed ora ne può essere istruita. Più l’anima ora desidera di ricevere il chiarimento dallo spirito in sé, più questo le giunge. E perciò l’umanità potrebbe stare davvero su un alto livello spirituale se utilizzasse tutto ciò che le sta a disposizione nella vita terrena. Ma gli uomini si accontentano ad adempiere la loro vita terrena, ma non pensano allo stato spirituale. E di conseguenza si avvicinano nel loro stato più interiore di nuovo a quello del tempo antecedente, non badano alla loro anima, in quello stato antecedente conducevano solo una vita animalesca, nel quale era escluso qualsiasi sviluppo verso l’Alto. Non vivono più coscientemente la loro vita terrena, vengono per così dire spinti e ciò da forze spirituali che vogliono impedire allo spirituale uno sviluppo verso l’Alto. Quindi si avvicinano di nuovo allo stato del tempo antecedente, ma ora sono pienamente responsabili perciò che fanno, perché a loro è stato data da Dio la libera volontà e l’intelligenza che devono utilizzare per il loro sviluppo verso l’Alto.

Present-day human being.... Abilities....

No other age has had as highly evolved beings as the present one and yet this higher development is used for the wrong reasons.... The present-day human being has passed through countless stages of development and now, during the last stage, has many abilities which he can use extremely successfully.... One of these abilities is to place himself into a spiritual state. Anyone who has acquired this ability can already claim to have considerable maturity because he now also lives in the other realm.... However, he does not take his impressions from this realm to earth because they are only absorbed by the spirit who will not pass them on until the human soul is suitably qualified to understand the experience in the spiritual realm and can then be relevantly instructed. The more the soul questions the spirit within itself for information the more it receives. Thus humanity could indeed be on a high spiritual level if it took advantage of everything at its disposal during earthly life. Instead, people are content to live their earthly lives but fail to consider their spiritual state. Consequently their innermost being is approaching the pre-historic condition once again, in which they ignored their soul and just lived an animal life which excluded any higher development. They no longer live earthly life consciously, they are similarly driven - namely by spiritual forces which want to suppress all spiritual higher development. And thus they are approaching the pre-historic state once more but are now fully responsible for their actions because free will and intellect were given to them by God for the purpose of spiritual progress....
