Tempi di miseria – Tempi di Grazia

I tempi di miseria sono anche tempi di Grazia, perché Dio nel Suo Amore Si sforza costantemente di portare la salvezza agli uomini e per questo Egli impiega tutti i mezzi per renderSi a loro ricono-scibile, affinché Lo trovino e siano salvati dalla morte e dalla rovina; ogni sofferenza è una Grazia, perché è un mezzo di cui Si serve Dio per cambiare il pensare degli uomini. Egli bussa ai loro cuori, Egli Stesso Si porta loro vicino ed attende che Lo invochino, che Lo facciano entrare nei loro cuori per poter continuare ad operare con la Sua Grazia ed il Suo Amore. Perché l’Amore di Dio non cessa mai, non è limitato come l’amore degli uomini, è senza fine ed è rivolto eternamente solo alle Sue creature che sono procedute da Lui e che devono ritornare a Lui per la loro propria felicità. Che gli uomini non riconoscono questo Amore, è solo la conseguenza del loro stato di lontananza da Dio che li rende ciechi per il Divino. Dio tiene conto di questo stato e provvede rispettivamente gli uo-mini, ma non li lascia mai senza Aiuto e tutto ciò che Egli manda su loro per ricondurli a Sé Stesso, sono Grazie offerte dal Suo Amore per riconquistarli per sempre. E se l’uomo non è diventato to-talmente indurito e disamorevole, queste Grazie non sono nemmeno senza effetto. Devono sempre soltanto lasciar intoccata la libera volontà dell’uomo, cioè dev’essere esclusa ogni costrizione, l’uomo dev’essere libero di voler lasciar agire su di sé la Grazia, la sua volontà non dev’essere de-terminata in nessun modo per un’altra conduzione di vita, altrimenti l’esser sarebbe non-libero e questo escluderebbe uno sviluppo dell’anima verso l’Alto. Perciò la sofferenza è immensamente benefica, perché con ciò l’uomo si rivolge a Dio per propria spinta e così utilizza una Grazia che gli offre l’Amore di Dio.

Times of need - times of grace....

Times of adversity are also times of grace, for God in His love constantly endeavours to bring salvation to people and uses all means to make Himself known to them so that they will find Him and be saved from death and ruin........ every suffering is a mercy because it is a means God uses to change people's thinking. God knocks on people's hearts, He brings Himself close to them and waits for them to call upon Him, to let Him into their hearts so that He can then continue to work with His grace and love. For God's love never ceases, it is not limited like human love, it is without end and is eternally only for His living creations, which are of Him and shall return to Him for their own happiness. The fact that people do not recognize this love is only the result of their state of being far from God, which blinds them to the divine. God takes this state into account and considers people accordingly, but He never leaves them without help, and everything He sends over them in order to lead them towards Himself are favours offered to them by His love in order to win them back forever. And as long as the human being has not become completely hardened and loveless, these favours are not ineffective either. But they must always leave the human being's free will untouched, i.e., all coercion must be eliminated, the human being must be free to want to let the grace have an effect on him, his will must not be determined in any way to lead a different way of life, otherwise the being would be unfree and this would eliminate the soul's higher development. And this is why suffering is tremendously beneficial, because it often causes the human being to turn to God of his own accord and thus utilize a grace which God's love offers him....
