Preghiera per le anime nell’aldilà che non hanno conquistato l’amore sulla Terra

La via di sofferenza d’un anima non liberata non è descrivibile agli uomini e malgrado ciò devono sapere che è uno stato d’inimmaginabile sconforto, che devono sopportare, e questo sapere deve spronare l’uomo, di assistere aiutando queste anime, e per questo va a loro sempre di nuovo l’ammonimento, di non dimenticare queste anime. Loro ringraziano mille volte quegli uomini, che portano aiuto al loro tormento mediante la preghiera. Le anime nell’aldilà, che nel loro decesso lasciano degli uomini sulla Terra, con i quali erano legati dall’amore, sono in vantaggio nei confronti di coloro che non hanno conquistato nessun amore sulla Terra. Ai primi seguono amorevoli pensieri e pii desideri, oppure tramite intima preghiera a tali anime arriva loro della forza e la loro posizione può da ciò migliorare notevolmente. Ogni pensiero amorevole viene sentito benevolo dalle anime e risveglia di nuovo l’amore, che ora si manifesta contemporaneamente per anime sofferenti, che hanno vissuto sulla Terra senza amore. Loro vengono presto dimenticati, oppure si pensa a loro soltanto senza amore e questo agisce in modo terribile sul loro stato nell’aldilà. Ogni buon pensiero degli uomini sulla Terra lenisce i tormenti alle anime nell’aldilà, ogni pensiero cattivo li accresce, e le anime stesse non se ne possono difendere, oppure non possono obbligare gli uomini all’amore. Ora l’amore e l’assenza d’amore agiscono sensibilmente, e fanno sentire all’anima che lotta verso l’Alto alleggerimento oppure la aggrava. Delle anime che devono fare totalmente a meno dell’amore degli uomini terreni, dipendono da sé stesse da sole nel più oscuro ambiente e la loro miseria è indicibilmente grande. Queste anime devono essere particolarmente ricordate nella preghiera sulla Terra, affinché anche queste percepiscano la benedizione dell’intercessione in modo che sentano su di sé la Forza dell’amore, e per questo avvenga in loro un cambiamento. Perché appena un amorevole pensiero sfiora queste anime solitarie, loro se ne accorgono e si rivolgono al punto d’uscita di quel pensiero, si avvicinano all’uomo che ha pensato a loro con misericordia ed osservano lui ed il suo essere, il suo agire ed il percorso dei suoi pensieri. Non staranno nemmeno addosso ad un uomo che fa loro del bene, benché loro stesse sono capaci di pochi buoni moti d’animo. Ma loro indagano sulla causa per il fatto che il loro stato di sofferenza diminuisce nella vicinanza di quegli uomini e sentono un percepibile alleggerimento attraverso la preghiera per le anime che lottano nell’oscurità. Ed imparano a riconoscere, che l’amore è l’unico mezzo per il miglioramento della loro situazione. E quando l’anima ha conquistata questa conoscenza, allora diventa malleabile e volonterosa di aiutare anche altre anime, ed è sfuggita alla miseria più amara. Gli uomini sulla Terra possono salvare infinitamente tante anime dalla loro miseria, quando cercano d’immaginarsi l’impotenza di queste anime. Perché appena sentono in sé una scintilla d’amore, la grande sofferenza deve toccare il loro cuore e stimolare la loro volontà, di aiutare queste anime. Gli uomini devono includere queste povere anime nelle loro preghiere, a cui manca la forza di aiutare sé stesse, devono invocare Dio per Grazia e Misericordia per queste anime, devono rivolgere loro il loro amore e non ricordare mai un defunto nell’assenza d’amore, per non accrescere i tormenti di questo. Perché allora l’anima è nel massimo pericolo che s’indurisca totalmente ed ogni buon moto in lei muoia. Ma le anime devono essere salvate ed a questo gli uomini sulla Terra possono contribuire in modo inimmaginabilmente grande.

Prayers for souls in the beyond which had not acquired love on earth....

An unredeemed soul's path of suffering is impossible to describe to people, and yet they should know that it must endure an inconceivably hopeless state because this knowledge is intended to impel people into helpfully supporting such souls, hence they are constantly admonished not to forget these souls. They will thank those people a thousand fold who ease their agony by praying for them. Souls in the beyond which leave people behind on earth with whom they were lovingly connected have an advantage compared to those which did not acquire love for themselves on earth. Loving thoughts and devout wishes follow the former, or such souls receive strength through heartfelt prayer, which can substantially improve their situation. Every loving thought is soothingly experienced by the souls and awakens love again, which then will manifest itself towards equally suffering souls. However, souls which lived without love on earth must starve and suffer unspeakably. They are quickly forgotten or they are only thought of unkindly, and this has appalling consequences on their state in the beyond. Every kind thought of people on earth for the souls in the beyond alleviates their torments, every bad thought increases them and the souls themselves are unable to defend themselves or enforce people's love for them.

Now the soul is perceptively affected by love or heartlessness which either ease or impede its struggle towards ascent. Souls which entirely lack people's love on earth have to completely depend on themselves in utterly dark surroundings and suffer indescribable hardship. These souls should be particularly considered on earth in prayer so that they, too, feel the blessing of intercession, so that they feel the strength of love within themselves and thus an inner change takes place. For as soon as a loving thought fleetingly touches such lonely souls they notice it and turn towards the place of origin of this thought, they come close to the person who mercifully thought of them and observe him and his characteristics, his actions and his train of thought. They will never harass a person who is good to them either, although they themselves are rarely capable of good feelings. Yet they dwell on the reason why their state of suffering eases when they are close to these people and they sense noticeable relief through the prayer on behalf of the struggling souls in darkness. And they learn to recognise that love is the only means for improving their situation. And once the soul has gained this realisation then it will also become gentle and helpful towards other souls and they will have escaped the bitterest hardship. People on earth would be able to redeem infinitely many souls from their hardship if they tried to imagine the helplessness of these souls. For if they feel a spark of love within themselves their great suffering should move them and arouse their will to help these souls. People should include these poor souls which lack the strength to help themselves in their prayer, they should call upon God for grace and mercy for these souls, they shall give them their love and never think heartlessly of a deceased person so as not to increase his pain. For then the soul will be in great danger of becoming completely hard and every good inclination in it dying.... But the souls should be redeemed and people on earth can contribute an awful lot towards achieving it....
