Lo scopo santifica i mezzi

Voi che inducete i prossimi ad agire contro la Dottrina cristiana e cercate di imporlo attraverso delle regole di costrizione, vi caricate di una grande responsabilità. Perché ora dalla punizione non saranno colpiti costoro, ma voi stessi che vi siete con ciò incolpati. L’uomo che viene costretto, non è padrone della sua volontà e perciò non può nemmeno essere chiamato a risponderne. Ma voi che vi siete sottomessi a questa volontà, dovete portare le conseguenze ed espiare la vostra ingiustizia. La vera azione non viene poi così condannata come l’autore di una tale azione. Quindi non dovete credere di poter indurre impunemente il prossimo ad una cattiva azione, senza doverne voi stessi rispondere. Ed ora vi sarà comprensibile che una ingiustizia non può essere approvata, perché deve in qualche modo portare un vantaggio, che quindi il motto “lo scopo santifica il mezzo” non verrà mai riconosciuto da Dio, ma una tale opinione è totalmente errata. Ogni cattiva azione può solo avere cattivi successi, ma da una cattiva azione non può mai sorgere un qualche vantaggio per l’uomo. Certo, a volte i vantaggi terreni non possono essere negati, ma non troveranno mai l’Approvazione o la Benedizione di Dio. Di conseguenza tutti coloro che traggono una utilità da una cattiva azione, devono anche prendere su di sé le relative conseguenze, devono portare la più grande sofferenza, se vogliono di nuovo riparare l’ingiustizia di cui si sono incolpati. Perché nessuna colpa può rimanere inespiata, ed è molto meglio espiare una colpa ancora nella vita terrena, che portarla con sé nell’aldilà e doverne subire dei tormenti, che estinguono quella colpa. Quello che veniva caricato in colpa da questo motto “lo scopo santifica il mezzo” quello che è proceduto come presunto vantaggio da un tale agire, non sarò nemmeno mai benedetto o procura all’uomo una utilità spirituale, perché Dio non approva le disposizioni, che contraddicono il Comandamento dell’amore per il prossimo e che vuole essere germogliato da una mentalità nobile, ma che in realtà rivela l’agire dell’avversario. Perciò l’uomo e come tutti coloro che approvano la sua iniziativa, saranno responsabili e dovranno risponderne, dato che è la più grande ingiustizia dinanzi a Dio.

The end justifies the means....

You burden yourselves with a great responsibility when you cause your fellow human beings to act contrary to Christian teaching and try to enforce this through coercive measures. For now it is not them but you yourselves who will be punished for having done so. The person who is forced is not of his own will and therefore cannot be held responsible. But you, who have subjugated this will, must bear the consequences and atone for your injustice. The actual act will not be condemned as much as the originator of such an act. Thus you should not believe that you can cause your fellow human being to commit an evil deed with impunity.... without being called to account yourselves. And it will now be understandable to you that an injustice cannot be condoned because it is supposed to bring some kind of benefit...., that the principle ‘The end justifies the means....’ is therefore never recognised by God but that such an opinion is completely erroneous. Every bad seed can only bear bad fruits, i.e. a bad deed can never result in any advantage for people that benefits them spiritually. Although earthly advantages are sometimes undeniable, they will never find God's approval or His blessing. Consequently, all those who benefit from a bad deed must also accept the consequences of the bad deed, they must bear the greatest suffering if they want to make amends for the injustice for which they are responsible. For no guilt can remain unatoned for, and it is far better to atone for a guilt in earthly life than to take it over into the hereafter and to endure torment that cancels out that guilt. What happens under this principle.... The ends justify the means.... what has emerged as an alleged advantage from such action will also never be blessed or bring spiritual benefit to the person, for God does not approve of measures which contradict the commandment to love one's neighbour, which seem to have arisen from a noble disposition but in reality clearly show the adversary's doing. And the person responsible for it, as well as all those who approve of his plan, will be called to account, as it is the greatest injustice before God.
