L’imperiturità – L’Eternità – Il suicidio

Così quegli uomini che rinnegano la continuità della vita, non si spaventano nemmeno di porre loro stessi una fine alla vita terrena, perché con ciò credono di provocare la fine di tutto, se si disfano della loro vita terrena, e non pensano all’effetto della loro azione, se il loro punto di vista è errato. Ciò a cui rinunciano, è solamente la forma esteriore, ma non la vita stessa; questa la devono continuare a vivere, perché non è distruttibile, né sulla Terra, né nell’aldilà, è nel vero senso della parola imperitura, quindi di durata eterna. Non è possibile una fine dell’essere che il Creatore ha creato da Sè, ed è impossibile che tutto ciò che è divino nella sua Sostanza ur, possa finire. E così il Creatore ha anche ordinato nella Sua Sapienza, che all’essere non siano posti dei limiti nel raggiungimento dello stato di perfezione, che anche nell’Eternità si può attivare nel costante tendere verso l’Alto, e che può quindi continuamente agire e dare, come anche ricevere, senza esaurirsi oppure aver chiesto l’ultima cosa all’eterna Divinità. Il concetto è così poco immaginabile all’uomo terreno, come anche impossibile spiegargli definitivamente l’imperiturità, ed anche l’imperiturità dell’anima non può essergli dimostrata, ma deve essere creduta da lui. Pure il concetto del tempo come “Eternità” non è analizzabile dall’intelletto umano, perché è impossibile che il tentativo conduca ad un risultato di ciò a cui l’uomo non può fornire un paragone terreno dello stesso. Dall’uomo viene accettato qualcosa come Verità soltanto, quando può essere affermato con una dimostrazione. E così anche qui rimane di nuovo soltanto la fede. L’uomo deve credere ciò che non può essergli dimostrato, ed egli deve conseguentemente premettere l’imperiturità dell’essere per tutte le Eternità ad ogni altro pensiero.

Immortality.... Eternity.... Suicide....

Consequently, people who consciously deny life after death will not hesitate to end their earthly life themselves since they believe that by ending their earthly life they will dispose of everything, and fail to consider the consequences of their action if they are wrong. They only destroy the outer shell but not life itself and therefore they have to continue living it.... since it cannot be destroyed, neither on earth nor in the beyond.... it is, in the true sense of the word, immortal, i.e. of eternal duration. It is not possible to end it because the Creator has created the being out of Himself and everything of divine origin cannot possibly perish. For that reason the Creator, in His wisdom, has ordained that there shall be no limit for the being to reach its state of perfection.... that even in eternity it can steadily advance and thus be constantly active and give as well as receive.... without ever becoming exhausted or ever having received the ultimate from the eternal Deity. The earthly human being can barely conceive the concept of ‘eternity’, neither can immortality be completely explained to him since nothing on earth is everlasting, and since the immortality of soul cannot be proven to him he has to believe it. Likewise, human intellect cannot analyse the time concept of ‘eternity’ either. This attempt cannot possibly lead to a result as long as the human being cannot apply the same comparison to a physical medium. He only accepts something as true when he has conclusive evidence. And therefore there remains only faith again.... The human being has to believe what cannot be demonstrated to him, and thus the immortality of the being throughout eternity must precede all other reasoning....
