El cumplimiento del deber no es suficiente....

No debéis creer que estáis justificados ante Mí si llenáis vuestra vida terrenal solo con deberes terrenales, que os esforzáis por cumplir concienzudamente, pero cuyo cumplimiento no trae ninguna bendición a vuestra alma. Pues todo lo que hacéis en la Tierra se basa en cierto amor propio, si lo hacéis voluntariamente.... o se os imponen exigencias, que a su vez cumplís por razones egoístas si no estáis obligados a hacerlo.... Todo este “cumplimiento de deberes” no debe confundirse con el verdadero amor desinteresado al prójimo, que no desea nada para sí mismo, sino siempre solo ayudar y traer felicidad.

Cumplir con el deber es un instinto de auto-conservación, independientemente de si el ser humano mismo o sus familiares más cercanos se benefician de ello. Sin embargo, siempre será solo un beneficio terrenal; el alma ganará poco o nada de ello.... a menos que incluso las obras del deber se realizan con amor desinteresado, lo que significa que un ser humano puede tener ciertas obligaciones terrenales que cumplir, las cuales atiende con amor desinteresado. Los seres humanos pueden caer fácilmente en una especie de autocomplacencia cuando creen haber cumplido fielmente con sus deberes; pero no progresan en su desarrollo espiritual y, en su mayoría, no quieren saber nada del hecho de que su propósito terrenal es algo más que simplemente crear una vida terrenal estable.... incluso si, exteriormente, su estilo de vida parece estar en orden.

Si tan solo considerarais que podríais liberaros de todos vuestros deberes mañana mismo, y que entonces seríais juzgados según vuestra madurez espiritual.... y no cómo hayáis moldeado vuestra vida terrenal. Si considerarías que todos los deberes también pueden ser cumplidos por otros seres humanos, pero que el trabajo en el alma debe ser realizado por cada ser humano para sí mismo, y de hecho durante su vida terrenal.... No puede ser liberado de este trabajo. Por lo tanto, además de cumplir con su deber, debe practicar obras desinteresados de amor; tiene que hacer más libremente desde su interior, y el amor siempre debe impulsarlo a hacerlo. Solo entonces hará un verdadero uso de la vida terrenal, solo entonces corresponderá a Mi voluntad, y se transformará a sí mismo, es decir, su propio ser.... de vuelta a su ser primordial.

No es en absoluto un fracasado en este mundo, porque su alma seguirá progresando en su desarrollo. Solo entonces aprovechará plenamente la fuerza vital de la que dispone durante su vida terrenal, pero la cual tiene que renunciar en el momento de la muerte, y que pasará al más allá completamente impotente, a menos que haya adquirido previamente fuerza vital a través de obras de amor en la Tierra. Mientras aún posea fuerza vital, no la apreciará debidamente, pero tener que entrar al más allá en un estado completamente muerto finalmente le hará consciente de lo que ha perdido y de lo miserable que se encuentra ahora en comparación con su vida terrenal, donde podía crear y actuar con su fuerza vital.

Y por lo tanto, debe usar principalmente su fuerza vital para obrar en el amor, porque solo así puede aumentar su fuerza y adquirir bienes imperecederos.... mientras que todos los bienes terrenales son transitorios, y el ser humano mismo ni siquiera puede determinar la duración de tiempo en el que pueda disfrutarlos. Ya el día siguiente puede arrebatárselo todo.... Pero quien usa su fuerza vital para obrar en el amor nunca necesita tener tales pensamientos ni preocupaciones.... Puede renunciar a su vida terrenal cada día, y aun así será abundantemente bendecido y comenzará con fuerza la verdadera vida en el reino espiritual; no habrá perdido nada, sino que obtendrá un gran beneficio....

Por lo tanto, ningún ser humano jamás debe jactarse del cumplimiento de su deber, pues esto también puede ser evidencia de un amor equivocado; puede inducir a un ser humano a pensamientos erróneos, de modo que se conforme consigo mismo y ya no considere necesario hacer nada más. Yo exijo más de vosotros si deseáis entrar en una vida que jamás podréis perder.... Debéis transformaros irrevocablemente en amor, y por lo tanto, vuestra vida en la Tierra debe demostrar actos de amor desinteresados, solo entonces caminaréis en Mi voluntad, y solo entonces adquiriréis bienes imperecederos....

Fulfilment of duty is not enough....

You should not believe that you are justified before Me if you only fill your earthly life with earthly duties which you conscientiously endeavour to comply with but the fulfilment of which does not bring any blessing to your soul. For everything you do earthly is based on a certain self-love if it is done voluntarily.... or demands are placed on you which you comply with again for selfish reasons if you are not forced to do so.... All these 'fulfilments of duty' must not be confused with right, unselfish neighbourly love, which wants nothing for itself but always wants to help and make happy. Fulfilment of duty is a certain instinct of self-preservation, regardless of whether the person himself or his next of kin derive the benefit from it. But it will only ever be an earthly benefit, the soul will gain little or nothing from it.... unless works of duty are also carried out with unselfish love, that the human being thus certainly has to fulfil certain duties professionally which he fulfils with unselfish love. People can easily fall into a kind of complacency if they believe they have faithfully fulfilled their duties; but they don't make any progress in their spiritual development, nor do they usually want to know that their purpose of earthly life is different from merely creating an orderly earthly life for themselves.... even though the human being's way of life appears to be in order outwardly. If only you would consider that you can be free of all your duties as early as the next day, but that you will then be judged according to your maturity of soul.... not according to how you have shaped your earthly life. If you want to consider that every fulfilment of duty can also be done by other people, but that every person has to do the work on his soul for himself during his earthly lifetime.... He cannot be released from this work. Therefore, in addition to fulfilling his duty he must practice unselfish activity of love, he must freely do more out of himself, and love must always impel him to do so, only then will he make proper use of earthly life, then it will correspond to My will, he will change himself again, i.e. his nature, into his original nature. Thus he is by no means a dud in this world, for his soul will progress in its development. Only then will he make proper use of the vitality which is at his disposal during his earthly life but which he has to relinquish at the moment of death and he will pass over into the kingdom of the beyond completely without strength, if he has not previously acquired spiritual strength precisely through an activity of love on earth. As long as he is still in possession of vitality he does not really appreciate it, but having to enter the kingdom of the beyond in a completely dead state will only make him realize what he has forfeited and how miserable he now is compared to earthly life, where he could create and work with his vitality. And therefore he should predominantly use his vitality to work with love, because this is the only way to increase his strength and acquire imperishable possessions.... whereas all earthly possessions are transient and the human being himself cannot even determine the length of time he is allowed to enjoy them. The very next day can take everything away from him.... yet the human being who uses his vitality to work with love never needs to worry about such thoughts and worries.... He can surrender his earthly life every day, he will nevertheless start the actual life in the spiritual kingdom richly blessed and full of strength, he will not have lost anything but only achieve a high gain.... For this reason no human being should ever boast about his fulfilment of duty, for it can also be evidence of wrongly directed love, it can also lead the human being into wrong thinking so that he is satisfied with himself and no longer deems it necessary to do anything more. I demand more of you if you once want to enter into a life you can no longer lose.... You must irrevocably change yourselves into love, and therefore your life on earth must demonstrate an unselfish activity of love, only then will you live in My will, and only then will you acquire everlasting possessions....
