Llevando la cruz con paciencia..... “Señor, hágase tu voluntad....”

Vete dentro de ti mismo y reconoce tus debilidades y pídele ayuda al Señor, entonces tu fuerza también se hará más fuerte y tendrás éxito en soportar las pruebas de la vida con dulzura y paciencia. La voluntad del Señor solo te las envía para tu propio avance.....

Un hombre rara vez se someterá a los sufrimientos que se le imponen sin quejarse y, sin embargo, esto es precisamente una sumisión voluntaria a la voluntad de Dios cuando el hombre acepta con alegría y gratitud todo el sufrimiento de la mano de Dios y así solo siempre reconoce todo como lo correcto para su salvación del alma. Cuando el dolor aumenta, el Salvador te pone una pequeña cruz que debes llevar pacientemente con amor por Su causa. Esos días harán que el alma sea infinitamente feliz, porque lo que el cuerpo soporta con tolerancia se le quita al alma y su estado se vuelve cada vez más libre. El sufrimiento físico es la ayuda más grande para el alma, y si el hombre lo lleva con alegría, el alma está agradecida y a su vez aprovecha cada oportunidad donde puede apoyar al cuerpo a través de pistas interiores para el bienestar del hombre en la actividad terrenal.

Todo sufrimiento sólo tendrá un efecto ennoblecedor, si el hombre no es amargado contra Aquel, Que le envía este sufrimiento y, por lo tanto, siempre es solo curativa para el alma del hombre. Y si la tentación de rebelarse contra la voluntad de Dios es grande, sólo pensad en el sufrimiento del señor en la cruz..... Cuán indeciblemente dolorosa fue Su muerte, y cuán devotamente el salvador cargó con todo sufrimiento sobre Su hombro por amor por la humanidad pecadora. Y si tenéis esto en cuenta, entonces vosotros también llevarais voluntariamente vuestra pequeña cruz, porque el Señor no os la pone más que sois capaces de llevarla. Y el verdadero amor por el Salvador os endulza todo sufrimiento.....

Un día, una pequeña luz os iluminará, cuál es la causa del sufrimiento, y vuestra alma se alegrará cuando hayáis estado dispuestos en la tierra y hayáis ganado grandes méritos al soportar el sufrimiento, lo que tiene un efecto extremadamente beneficioso en el mundo espiritual. La vida os cobra muchas cosas que os parecen insuperables al principio, y peleáis con Dios por eso y queréis rebelaros contra Su voluntad más santa, pero el amor de Dios pronto os enseñará otra..... os hará saber que es sólo por vuestro bien cuando os dé sufrimiento, y la existencia en la tierra os traerá una rica recompensa, si lo habéis reconocido.

Por eso orad siempre desde el fondo de vuestro corazón: “Señor, hágase tu voluntad “. Y vuestro sufrimiento se convertirá en alegría..... y con agradecimiento recibiréis la recompensa que os compensará por todo el sufrimiento en la tierra, algún día en la eternidad.....

Patiently bearing the cross.... 'Lord, Your will be done...'

Look within yourself and recognise your failings and appeal to the Lord for His help, then you will grow in strength and succeed in enduring all tests of life gently and with patience. After all, the Lord's will only sends these to you for your own advancement.... A person will rarely submit to the suffering imposed on him without grumbling, and yet precisely this is a willing submission to God's will, when the human being gladly and gratefully accepts all suffering from the Father's hand and so only ever acknowledges that whatever happens will be right for his soul's salvation. When the pain increases, the Saviour is placing a small cross upon you which, for His sake, you should carry patiently. Such days will make the soul infinitely happy, for whatever is tolerantly carried by the body is removed from the soul and it will enter an increasingly more liberated state. The body's suffering is the soul's greatest help, and if the human being bears it gladly, the soul will be grateful for it and, in turn, will use every opportunity to help the body through inner suggestions which benefit the human being's earthly work. All suffering will only have an ennobling effect if it does not cause bitterness in the person against the One Who inflicts this suffering upon him, and thus it will only ever benefit the person's soul. And if the temptation is great to revolt against God's will, then remember the Lord's suffering on the cross.... How unspeakably painful was His death, and how humbly did the Saviour accept all suffering upon His shoulders out of love for the sinful human race. If you bear this in mind, then you will also gladly carry you small cross, for the Lord will not impose anything upon you that you are incapable of carrying. And the right love for the Saviour will sweeten your every suffering.... One day the significance of suffering will dawn on you and your soul will rejoice, if you were willing on earth and gained many merits through the bearing of suffering, which has an extraordinary effect in the spiritual world. Your lifetime on earth certainly burdens you with much which seems insurmountable to you at first, and thus you quarrel with God and want to object to His most sacred will; nevertheless, God's love will soon teach you otherwise.... it will let you realise that it is only in your best interest when He allows you to suffer, and your earthly existence will be richly rewarded if you have realised it. Therefore, always pray from the bottom of your heart 'Lord, Your will be done....' and your suffering will turn into joy.... and you will gratefully accept the reward which, one day in eternity, will compensate you for all the suffering on earth....
