Is the will first or grace....

Let yourselves be satisfied with My favour, because I give it to you abundantly, because you can only become happy through favour. And I want that you are always aware of it, which gift of favour earth life is for you, but which only brings you on the right way when you also evaluate it as such, because likewise you can let it pass you by unused, and you stand there where you stood at the beginning of your embodiment; it has been an idle run for you. And highest and most valuable of My gifts of favour is My word, which you are able to hear at any time when you desire to hear it. But deep in the heart you must desire it, then your spiritual ear is opened, and you hear Me, and you will be happy, because you then enter the original state; your way is no longer far to perfection, where My word sounded to you and you were immeasurably happy. That is why you must always let your will become active, so that you also accept the favours, which are offered to you.... Therefore the will is the first, and whether the favours also go to you unmeasured.... if the will is not prepared to accept and evaluate them, then you draw no benefit from it, and your state does not change; you remain imperfect, as you were at the beginning of your embodiment. Therefore it is wrong to say that I hand out the favours according to My discretion, because the same measure of favours is at your disposal, otherwise I Myself would determine the perfection of My creatures.... This thought is so wrong that I Myself have 'chosen you to become blessed or to be damned'.... when this is determined solely by your free will. Enough information has already been given to you about the freedom of will, so that you can refute every such objection. And yet it is held by those who, on the basis of misunderstood scriptural passages, make such assertions as, "It is God Who works in you the willing and the doing.... according to His good pleasure." This scripture, too, is completely misinterpreted if you thereby believe that I accomplish everything according to My will.... I work well in you because you could do nothing without receiving the power from Me. It was also I Who endowed you with free will, but you must bring this will to fruition yourselves, and I therefore provide you with a measure of grace, which also earns you perfection with certainty if you use it, but for which the will must always first be ready. And that is why you carry a great responsibility, and both the light beings as well as the powers of darkness fight for your will, the one to turn the will towards Me and to make it completely inclined towards good, while the endeavour of the dark powers is to give your will a wrong direction, therefore away from Me, and so prevent you to strive for perfection. But nevertheless you will be able to receive an abundance of grace at any time, because this can cause your will that you use it right, and it always only depends on whether you recognize Me as the source of grace.... then your will will also be ready.... And if therefore My word is offered to you, which is conducted to earth in an unusual way, then every man could recognize it as an unusual favour, because also the intellect only needed to ask itself how it comes about, and it would have to make man think.... But if he still rejects it, then his will is directed against it, and this will is decisive.... Then he does not pass the test of will, and accordingly is also his lot in eternity, if he does not still change there and slowly comes to knowledge....

Is de wil het eerste of de genade?

Wees tevreden met Mijn genade, want ik bedenk u er rijkelijk mee, omdat u alleen door genaden gelukzalig zult kunnen worden. En Ik wil dat u er zich steeds van bewust bent, welk genadegeschenk het leven op aarde voor u is, maar dat het u pas op de juiste weg brengt wanneer u het ook als zodanig ten volle benut. Want net zo goed zult u het onbenut aan u voorbij kunnen laten gaan en bent u daar, waar u bij het begin van uw belichaming stond, het leven is voor u nutteloos geweest. En het hoogste en meest waardevolle van Mijn genadegaven is Mijn Woord dat u altijd in staat bent te horen wanneer u verlangt het te horen.

Maar diep in uw hart zult u er naar moeten verlangen, dan is uw geestelijk oor geopend en zult u Mij vernemen. En u zult verheugd zijn, want u gaat dan de oertoestand binnen. Uw weg is niet lang meer tot de voleinding, waar Mijn Woord voor u klonk en u onmetelijk gelukzalig was. Daarom zult u steeds uw wil actief moeten laten worden, opdat u de genaden die u worden aangeboden ook in ontvangst zult nemen.

Dus is de wil het eerste en al worden u ook de genaden onmetelijk toegestuurd - wanneer de wil niet bereid is ze aan te nemen en volledig te benutten, dan haalt u er totaal geen voordeel uit en uw toestand verandert niet, u blijft onvolmaakt, zoals u bij het allereerste begin van uw belichaming bent geweest. Het is dus verkeerd te zeggen dat Ik de genaden uitdeel volgens Mijn goeddunken, want aan u allen staat de gelijke mate aan genade ter beschikking, daar Ik anders Zelf de volmaaktheid van Mijn schepselen zou bepalen. Deze gedachte, dat Ik Zelf u heb uitverkoren om zalig of verdoemd te worden, is zo verkeerd, terwijl dit toch alleen door uw vrije wil wordt bepaald.

Over de vrijheid van wil is u al voldoende inlichting gegeven, zodat u elke tegenwerping van dien aard zult kunnen weerleggen. En toch wordt hij verdedigd door diegenen die op grond van verkeerd begrepen geschriften in de bijbel, die beweringen deponeren, zoals: “Het is God die in u werkt, het willen en het volbrengen … naar Zijn welgevallen”. Ook dit geschrift wordt geheel verkeerd uitgelegd, wanneer u daardoor gelooft dat Ik alles bewerkstellig naar Mijn wil. Ik werk weliswaar in u, omdat u niets zou kunnen doen zonder de kracht van Mij te ontvangen, Ik ben het ook geweest die u met de vrije wil uitrustte, maar u zult deze vrije wil zelf tot ontplooiing moeten brengen. En daarom bedenk Ik u met een mate van genaden die u ook de volmaaktheid met zekerheid oplevert wanneer u die benut, maar waartoe eerst steeds de wil bereid moet zijn.

En daarom draagt u een grote verantwoording en er strijden om uw wil zowel de lichtwezens alsook de krachten der duisternis. De eersten om de wil op Mij te richten en het goede geheel gezind te maken, terwijl het streven van de duistere krachten is, uw wil een verkeerde richting te geven, dus van Mij af, en u zo te verhinderen naar de volmaaktheid te streven. Maar toch zult u altijd een rijkdom aan genaden kunnen ontvangen, omdat dit uw wil ertoe kan brengen, dat u hem juist gebruikt en het er steeds alleen op aankomt of u Mij ziet als de Bron van genade, dan zal ook uw wil bereid zijn.

En wordt u dus Mijn Woord aangeboden, dat op een ongewone manier naar de aarde wordt gebracht, dan zou ieder mens het kunnen herkennen als een ongewone genade. Want ook het verstand hoefde zich alleen maar af te vragen, hoe het tot stand komt, en het zou de mens te denken moeten geven. Maar wanneer hij het desondanks afwijst, dan is zijn wil ertegen gericht, en deze wil is doorslaggevend. Dan doorstaat hij de beproeving van zijn wil niet en dienovereenkomstig is ook zijn lot in de eeuwigheid, wanneer hij niet nog daar verandert en langzaam tot inzicht komt.
