Can man suffer vicariously?....

The power of intercession is enormous.... You can avert much suffering from fellowman; you can supply them with the power, which those lack, who let them remain in complete powerlessness, until you send a power current to them through your intercession, that you therefore help them, and that not directly, but through Me, because I recognize your love, which you feel in such intercession for the neighbour. This influx of power however does not force their will, which is free, but the resistance decreases by itself, and the soul feels the power beneficently. Therefore you can always only ask Me for supply of power for those men, who are not able to this request themselves. And because your love is determining, I gladly fulfil the request for you, because you desire nothing for yourselves; you seek no own advantage, but worry about the salvation of the neighbour's soul. But you now must make a difference between a prayer for these men and your devotion to Me Myself, by you giving Me all your love. And this degree of love can grow in you and finally also extend to your fellow human beings that you embrace all with your love, because this is not otherwise possible when you are filled with love. And I want to reach this degree that you are completely absorbed in love for Me and your neighbour, so that you want to take the suffering upon yourselves, that you want to take the punishment upon yourselves which those have deserved.... But this would contradict My justice, since everyone is responsible for himself and also everyone has to atone for what he has caused. Admittedly, this contradicts Jesus Christ's act of salvation, Who, as a truly blameless human being, burdened Himself with all of humanity's sins out of love for it, Who therefore atoned for a guilt of sin in a representative manner, which was so great that only an angelic spirit, in Whom I Myself could embody Myself, could make this atonement, that I therefore redeemed the guilt Myself through My death on the cross. But this act was unique, and it will also remain so.... But a man's guilt can be redeemed through Jesus' work of redemption when he acknowledges Him, and then it belongs to the burden of sin, which man carries under the cross.... But this is every man's free matter of will and cannot be forced. Therefore it also has to be carried off still on earth or in the hereafter when man opposes the work of redemption. Intercession can be made for such people that they recognize their guilt and find their way to Jesus.... and this intercession has a great effect of strength. Then man comes of his own accord to the right recognition of his guilt, and he will make amends for it to the best of his ability or else call upon the one Who secures forgiveness for him. But it is impossible that the guilt can be remitted to him on the basis of the love of a man who wants to atone for it. This would not be justice, although love is prepared for it, because only one can cancel it, and this one wants to be called. (9/13/1964) But the love of a man, who is prepared to make atonement for his fellowman, is looked upon exceedingly favourably by Me. This is a love, which is completely free of I-love, which not only demands nothing for itself, but is prepared to take suffering upon itself, which therefore means a great plus for the soul, which also has an effect as power for fellowman, because it cannot remain without a spiritual success, both for him himself as well as for the soul, which comes into possession of a favour, which as it were must touch it with as strong will for improvement. It will itself recognize its defective state and also be willing to make a debt of atonement, but it will still have to bear it off itself.... It cannot be taken from it for the sake of justice.... You must always bear in mind that you cannot be spared the way to Jesus Christ, that in Him I demand My acknowledgment, *(added by a foreign hand: that I then also forgive every sin, that I have redeemed every atonement to be made by you through My blood on the cross.... that therefore every person himself must also take the path to Me*) that therefore every person himself must also take the path to Me, that therefore a guilt redeemed 'out of love for you' would release the human being from it, especially since many beings of light are embodied on earth whose love is so strong that they would gladly take upon themselves the suffering of others.... But your love has a favourable effect on those whom you would like to protect from the atonement for their guilt. And that is why no loving stirring of your hearts can remain without effect, because love is a power, which will always send out its rays.... because no loving thought vanishes and remains without effect. But every excess of love benefits man himself, because his body spiritualizes itself at the same time with his soul, and this spiritualization, which also causes great bodily suffering, you are all to strive for, to once help an original spirit, whose particles form your body, to mature faster...._>Amen

사람이 대신해서 고난을 받을 수 있는가?

중보 기도의 능력은 권세가 있다. 너희는 이웃들의 많은 고난을 피하게 할 수 있다. 너희는 능력이 부족한 자들에게 능력을 줄 수 있다. 너희의 중보 기도를 통해 능력이 그들에게 부어질 때까지 그들은 전적으로 무능력한 가운데 머물고 있다. 너희가 그들을 돕지만 직접 돕는 것이 아니고 나를 통해 돕는 것이다.

왜냐면 내가 너희의 중보 기도 가운데 이웃을 향한 너희의 사랑을 깨닫기 때문이다. 이런 능력의 흐름은 자유로운 그의 의지를 강요하지 않는다. 그러나 저항은 스스로 줄어든다. 혼이 능력을 행복하게 느끼게 된다. 그러므로 너희는 항상 스스로 이런 기도를 할 능력이 없는 사람들을 위해 능력을 주시게 나에게 기도할 수 있다.

이 가운데 너희의 사랑이 결정적이기 때문에 나는 이런 너희의 기도를 기쁘게 들어준다. 너희는 너희 자신을 위해 어떤 것을 구하는 것이 아니고 자신의 유익을 구하지 않고 이웃의 혼의 구원을 위해 염려하기 때문이다. 그러나 이제 너희는 이런 사람들을 위한 기도와 너희가 나에게 너희의 전적인 사랑을 바치면서 행하는 나 자신을 위한 너희의 헌신을 구별해야만 한다.

사랑의 정도는 너희 안에서 성장해 나가고 결국에는 너희 이웃에게 까지 미치게 되어 너희는 모든 것을 너희의 사랑으로 감싸게 된다. 왜냐면 너희가 사랑으로 충만하면, 이렇게 될 수밖에 없기 때문이다. 나는 이런 정도에 도달하기를 원한다. 그래서 너희가 나에 대한 그리고 이웃에 대한 사랑 쪽으로 전적으로 증가되어 너희 스스로 다른 사람의 고난을 대신 짊어 지려고 자원하고 다른 사람의 형벌을 너희가 대신 짊기를 자원하게 되는 것이다.

그러나 이것은 내 공의에 합당하지 않는 것이다. 왜냐면 모든 사람이 자신 스스로 책임을 져야 하기 때문이다. 모든 사람이 자기가 잘못한 것에 대해 속죄를 해야만 하기 때문이다. 예수 그리스도의 구속사역도 배치가 되는 것이기는 하다. 진실로 죄 없는 인간이 인류의 대한 사랑으로 인하여 인류의 모든 죄를 자신이 짊어지고 대신해서 죄 값을 지불했기 때문이다.

이 죄짐은 너무나 커서 천사의 영 안에서 자신이 육신을 입고 속죄를 행할 수밖에 없었다. 이로써 나 자신이 십자가의 내 죽음을 통해 죄를 사해 준 것이다. 그러나 이 일은 일회적인 역사이고 일회적인 역사로 남을 것이다. 한 사람의 죄는 예수의 구속사역을 통해 사함을 받을 수 있다. 만약에 그가 예수를 인정하면, 그의 죄짐은 사람이 십자가 아래 내려놓은 죄짐에 속한다. 이는 모든 사람의 자유로운 의지의 결정에 관한 문제이고 이를 강요를 해서는 안 된다.

만약에 사람이 구속사역을 거절할 때는 그는 그의 죄값을 이 땅이나 또는 저세상에서 스스로 치러야만 한다. 이런 사람들을 위해 이들이 죄를 깨닫고 예수님을 만나게 중보 기도를 할 수 있다. 이런 중보 기도는 아주 큰 역사가 있다. 이로써 인간은 스스로 자신의 죄에 대한 올바른 깨달음에 이르게 된다. 그는 자신의 능력에 따라 다시 보상을 하거나 또는 그에게 용서를 보장하는 한 분을 불러야 한다.

그를 속죄해주려고 하는 한 사람의 사랑 때문에 그가 죄사함을 받는 것은 불가능 하다. 비록 사랑이 이렇게 자세가 되어 있을 지라도 이것은 그렇다면 불의한 것이다. 왜냐면 한 사람이 죄를 사해 줄 수 있고 이 한 사람이 자신을 부르기를 원하기 때문이다. (1964년 9월 13일)

그러나 자신의 이웃을 위해 속죄하려는 한 사람의 사랑을 나는 아주 기뻐한다. 이는 자기 사랑이 전적으로 배제 된 사랑이다. 자신을 위해 요구하는 것이 아니라 고난을 짊어지려고 하는 것이다. 이로써 그의 혼에 아주 큰 도움을 받는다. 사랑은 능력으로써 이웃에게 영향을 미치게 된다. 왜냐면 이 사랑은 영적인 성공이 없이 남게 되지 않기 때문이다. 자기 자신뿐만 아니라 은혜를 받게 되는 혼들에게 마찬가지로 개선되고자 하는 강한 의지를 주는 감동을 주기 때문이다.

이들은 스스로 자신들의 부족한 상태를 깨닫고 죄짐의 속죄를 행할 자세를 갖게 될 것이다. 그러나 이들은 스스로 죄짐을 해결해 나가야만 한다. 이 죄짐은 공의 때문에 면제해줄 수 없다. 너희는 항상 예수 그리스도를 향한 길을 피할 수 없다는 생각을 해야만 한다. 내가 너희에게 예수 안에서 나를 인정하는 것을 요구하는 것을 생각을 해야만 한다. 그래서 모든 사람은 스스로 나를 향한 길을 가야만 한다. "너희를 향한 사랑"으로 사람들의 죄를 속죄할 수 있었다면, 이 땅에 육신을 입은 빛의 존재들의 사랑은 아주 커서 다른 사람의 고난을 짊어졌을 것이다.

그러나 이들 스스로 자신의 죄에 대한 속죄를 하는 것을 면하게 해주려는 너희의 사랑은 상대방에게 도움이 되는 역사를 준다. 그러므로 너희 심장에서 우러나오는 사랑의 충만한 자극이 효과가 나타나지 않을 수 없다. 사랑은 항상 사랑의 빛을 비추기 때문이다. 사랑하는 생각은 사라질 수 없고 역사가 나타나지 않을 수 없기 때문이다.

그의 모든 넘치는 사랑은 그 사람들 자신에게 도움이 된다. 왜냐면 그의 육체도 그의 혼과 함께 마찬가지로 영화 되기 때문이다. 이런 영화는 큰 육체적인 고통을 주지만 너 희 육체를 구성하고 있는 원래의 영의 입자들의 빠른 성장을 나중에 도와주기 때문에 너희가 영화 되길 추구를 해야 한다.
