Why was it possible for a body of work by the opponent to prevail?....

The adversary will often still try to run against the wall of faith, and he will also try to shake the faith of those who have found Me and whom he hopes to change again. And again, the only thing that matters is that a person's faith has come alive, because then he can already speak of knowledge with conviction and does not just need to believe something for which he lacks evidence. Living faith gives the person inner certainty and he no longer doubts but is already so united with Me that he has the clearest evidence in My presence that his thinking is enlightened and such faith can no longer be shaken. Yet My adversary will still be able to achieve success where the human being intellectually tries to fathom the correlations, where he.... i.e. the intellect.... builds on erroneous spiritual knowledge which he now regards as the basis and also represents it as truth.... Erroneous thinking is then also the consequence of this, and this can only be directed properly when the human being begins to doubt the spiritual knowledge he possesses. He has to ask in order to be able to receive answers, and he has to ask these questions in a feeling of complete ignorance which then humbly lets him come to Me.... If you humans knew how far you still are from the pure truth and how few people only accept the grace of My direct instructions from above.... then you would also recognize with fright the great power of the prince of darkness, but which you humans yourselves concede to him.... For you are not filled with a great desire for truth which would urge you towards Me so that I Myself would give you the truth.... You know that lies and error are the adversary's strongest weapons but you do not protect yourselves from them by appealing to Me for help.... You could not fall prey to this error if you were seriously interested in the pure truth.... And even if the truth is conveyed to you, you are nevertheless not willing to surrender your wrong spiritual knowledge, and the truth cannot take root in you, you yourselves prevent the effect of light because you are not willing to detach yourselves from darkness and follow the light.... But you cannot become enlightened against your will.... When I walked on earth to bring the light to men, I foresaw the structure of lies erected by those who called themselves My followers.... I foresaw that people were completely misguided and were themselves too weak to free themselves from the tangle of misguided teachings, I knew that precisely where the foundation was allegedly laid by Me Myself My adversary had much success.... For he succeeded in distorting all My teachings. And thus a work of construction came into being which never had and could never have Me as its master builder, that I could never take part in a work where My adversary had obviously forced his way in, for everything I taught on earth has been distorted. And spiritual knowledge is now advocated which did not originate from Me but is the work of human beings.... results of confused intellectual thinking over which My adversary has dominion.... Yet I could not prevent it because I do not act against people's free will.... Yet the few who seriously strived for truth and who acknowledged Me as the Eternal Truth always received the pure truth, and every willing person was able to accept it and also attain spiritual maturity.... Yet that work of building up remained in existence, and it was supported by all those who acknowledge it and never seriously concern themselves with the spiritual knowledge which is presented to them but which they, with an earnest will, would recognize as erroneous, for they would never be able to acknowledge a supremely perfect Being as the originator, as the founder of such a church, if only their thinking is good and just. Endless love, unsurpassable wisdom and might must always be recognisable, and where this is not the case it is impossible for Me Myself to have been at work, instead, My adversary always has his hand in it, and he will truly strengthen the darkness ever more and not tolerate his followers trying to free themselves from him. Therefore, My servants on earth, don't be surprised if time and again My adversary succeeds in having the error defended by people who are not yet able to believe vividly enough and therefore still use their intellect too much instead of listening to their heart, which would truly teach them otherwise. The structure erected by the adversary cannot be torn down so easily, for it finds strong supports in all those who do not yet recognize him and who therefore also accept everything as truth without seriously examining it. But people's will is free....

Porque foi possível que um conjunto de trabalhos do adversário prevalecesse?....

O adversário ainda tentará muitas vezes correr contra a parede da fé, e tentará também abalar a fé daqueles que Me encontraram e que ele espera mudar novamente. E mais uma vez, a única coisa que importa é que a fé de uma pessoa ganhou vida, porque então ela já pode falar de conhecimento com convicção e não precisa apenas de acreditar em algo para o qual lhe faltam provas. A fé viva dá à pessoa certeza interior e ela já não duvida, mas já está tão unida a Mim que tem a evidência mais clara na Minha presença de que o seu pensamento está iluminado e tal fé já não pode ser abalada. No entanto, o meu adversário ainda será capaz de alcançar o sucesso onde o ser humano tenta intelectualmente compreender as correlações, onde ele...., ou seja, o intelecto.... baseia-se em conhecimentos espirituais errados que ele considera agora como a base e também a representa como a verdade.... O pensamento errado é então também a consequência disto, e isto só pode ser dirigido correctamente quando o ser humano começa a duvidar do conhecimento espiritual que possui. Ele tem de perguntar para poder receber respostas, e tem de fazer estas perguntas num sentimento de completa ignorância que depois humildemente o deixa vir a Mim.... Se vós, humanos, soubésseis quão longe ainda estais da pura verdade e quão poucas pessoas só aceitam a graça das Minhas instruções directas de acima...., então também reconhecereis com medo o grande poder do príncipe das trevas, mas que vós próprios, humanos, lhe concedeis.... Pois não estás cheio de um grande desejo de verdade que te incitaria para Mim, para que Mim mesmo te dê a verdade.... Sabeis que a mentira e o erro são as armas mais fortes do adversário, mas não vos protegeis deles apelando a Mim para obter ajuda.... Não poderia cair neste erro se estivesse seriamente interessado na pura verdade.... E mesmo que a verdade vos seja transmitida, não estais dispostos a renunciar ao vosso conhecimento espiritual errado, e a verdade não pode enraizar-se em vós, vós próprios evitais o efeito da luz porque não estais dispostos a separar-vos das trevas e a seguir a luz.... Mas não pode tornar-se iluminado contra a sua vontade.... Quando andei na terra para levar a luz aos homens, previ a estrutura de mentiras erguidas por aqueles que se autodenominavam Meus seguidores.... Eu previ que as pessoas estavam completamente mal orientadas e eram demasiado fracas para se libertarem do emaranhado de ensinamentos mal orientados, eu sabia que precisamente ali o meu adversário tinha tido muito sucesso onde a fundação tinha sido alegadamente lançada por Myself.... Pois ele conseguiu distorcer todos os Meus ensinamentos. E assim surgiu uma obra de construção que nunca me teve e nunca poderia ter como seu mestre de obras, que nunca poderia participar numa obra em que o meu adversário tinha obviamente forçado a sua entrada, pois tudo o que eu ensinei na terra foi distorcido. E o conhecimento espiritual é agora defendido que não teve origem em Mim mas é obra de seres humanos.... resultados de um pensamento intelectual confuso sobre o qual o meu adversário tem domínio.... No entanto, não pude impedi-lo porque não ajo contra a livre vontade das pessoas.... Contudo, os poucos que lutaram seriamente pela verdade e que me reconheceram como a Verdade Eterna receberam sempre a verdade pura, e todas as pessoas dispostas puderam aceitá-la e também atingir a maturidade espiritual.... Contudo, esse trabalho de construção continuou a existir, e foi apoiado por todos aqueles que o reconhecem e nunca se preocuparam seriamente com o conhecimento espiritual que lhes é apresentado mas que, com uma vontade sincera, reconheceriam como errado, pois nunca seriam capazes de reconhecer um Ser supremamente perfeito como o criador, como o fundador de tal igreja, se apenas o seu pensamento fosse bom e justo. Amor sem fim, sabedoria e poder insuperáveis devem ser sempre reconhecíveis, e onde não for este o caso, é impossível que Eu próprio tenha estado a trabalhar, em vez disso, o meu adversário tem sempre a sua mão nela, e ele fortalecerá verdadeiramente a escuridão cada vez mais e não tolerará que os seus seguidores se tentem libertar dele. Portanto, Meus servos na terra, não fiquem surpreendidos se o meu adversário conseguir ter o erro defendido por pessoas que ainda não são capazes de acreditar vividamente e, portanto, ainda usam demasiado o seu intelecto em vez de ouvirem o seu coração, o que lhes ensinaria verdadeiramente o contrário. A estrutura erguida pelo adversário não pode ser derrubada tão facilmente, pois encontra fortes apoios em todos aqueles que ainda não o reconhecem e que, portanto, também aceitam tudo como verdade sem a examinarem seriamente.
