Why was it possible for a body of work by the opponent to prevail?....

The adversary will often still try to run against the wall of faith, and he will also try to shake the faith of those who have found Me and whom he hopes to change again. And again, the only thing that matters is that a person's faith has come alive, because then he can already speak of knowledge with conviction and does not just need to believe something for which he lacks evidence. Living faith gives the person inner certainty and he no longer doubts but is already so united with Me that he has the clearest evidence in My presence that his thinking is enlightened and such faith can no longer be shaken. Yet My adversary will still be able to achieve success where the human being intellectually tries to fathom the correlations, where he.... i.e. the intellect.... builds on erroneous spiritual knowledge which he now regards as the basis and also represents it as truth.... Erroneous thinking is then also the consequence of this, and this can only be directed properly when the human being begins to doubt the spiritual knowledge he possesses. He has to ask in order to be able to receive answers, and he has to ask these questions in a feeling of complete ignorance which then humbly lets him come to Me.... If you humans knew how far you still are from the pure truth and how few people only accept the grace of My direct instructions from above.... then you would also recognize with fright the great power of the prince of darkness, but which you humans yourselves concede to him.... For you are not filled with a great desire for truth which would urge you towards Me so that I Myself would give you the truth.... You know that lies and error are the adversary's strongest weapons but you do not protect yourselves from them by appealing to Me for help.... You could not fall prey to this error if you were seriously interested in the pure truth.... And even if the truth is conveyed to you, you are nevertheless not willing to surrender your wrong spiritual knowledge, and the truth cannot take root in you, you yourselves prevent the effect of light because you are not willing to detach yourselves from darkness and follow the light.... But you cannot become enlightened against your will.... When I walked on earth to bring the light to men, I foresaw the structure of lies erected by those who called themselves My followers.... I foresaw that people were completely misguided and were themselves too weak to free themselves from the tangle of misguided teachings, I knew that precisely where the foundation was allegedly laid by Me Myself My adversary had much success.... For he succeeded in distorting all My teachings. And thus a work of construction came into being which never had and could never have Me as its master builder, that I could never take part in a work where My adversary had obviously forced his way in, for everything I taught on earth has been distorted. And spiritual knowledge is now advocated which did not originate from Me but is the work of human beings.... results of confused intellectual thinking over which My adversary has dominion.... Yet I could not prevent it because I do not act against people's free will.... Yet the few who seriously strived for truth and who acknowledged Me as the Eternal Truth always received the pure truth, and every willing person was able to accept it and also attain spiritual maturity.... Yet that work of building up remained in existence, and it was supported by all those who acknowledge it and never seriously concern themselves with the spiritual knowledge which is presented to them but which they, with an earnest will, would recognize as erroneous, for they would never be able to acknowledge a supremely perfect Being as the originator, as the founder of such a church, if only their thinking is good and just. Endless love, unsurpassable wisdom and might must always be recognisable, and where this is not the case it is impossible for Me Myself to have been at work, instead, My adversary always has his hand in it, and he will truly strengthen the darkness ever more and not tolerate his followers trying to free themselves from him. Therefore, My servants on earth, don't be surprised if time and again My adversary succeeds in having the error defended by people who are not yet able to believe vividly enough and therefore still use their intellect too much instead of listening to their heart, which would truly teach them otherwise. The structure erected by the adversary cannot be torn down so easily, for it finds strong supports in all those who do not yet recognize him and who therefore also accept everything as truth without seriously examining it. But people's will is free....

Perché un’opera d’edificazione dell’avversario ha potuto affermarsi?

L’avversario cercherà ancora sovente di accorrere contro le mura della fede e tenterà anche di scuotere la fede di coloro che Mi hanno trovato e spera di nuovo a far loro cambiare idea. E di nuovo si tratta unicamente del fatto che la fede di una persona è diventata viva, perché poi può già parlare convinta di un sapere e non deve soltanto credere qualcosa, per cui le mancano le dimostrazioni. La fede viva dona all’uomo la certezza interiore e non dubita più, ma è già così unito con Me, che ha la più chiara conferma nella Mia Presenza, che il suo pensare è illuminato e non può più scuotere una tale fede. Ma il Mio avversario potrà registrare ancora successo là, dove l’uomo cerca intellettualmente i collegamenti, dove, cioè l’intelletto, edifica su un patrimonio spirituale errato, che ora considera come fondamento e lo rappresenta anche come Verità Il pensare errato ne è allora anche la conseguenza e questo può essere condotto giustamente soltanto, quando l’uomo comincia dubitare del patrimonio spirituale che possiede. Deve chiedere per poter ricevere una Risposta e deve porre queste domande nella sensazione di totale non-conoscenza, che lo fa poi venire a Me umilmente. Se voi uomini sapeste, quanto lontani siete ancora dalla pura Verità e quanto poco gli uomini accettano la Grazia dei Miei diretti Insegnamenti dall’Alto, allora riconoscereste anche con spavento il grande potere del principe dell’oscurità, che però voi uomini stessi gli attribuite. Perché non vi colma un grande desiderio per la Verità che vi spingerebbe verso di Me, affinché Io Stessi vi dia la Verità. Sapete che la menzogna e l’errore sono l’arma più forte dell’avversario, ma non ve ne proteggete, mentre chiedete l’Assistenza a Me Stesso. Non potreste cadere a questo errore, se foste seri di stare nella Verità. E persino quando vi viene portata la pura Verità, non siete comunque disposti a rinunciare al vostro falso patrimonio spirituale e la Verità non può fare radici in voi, voi stessi impedite l’effetto di Luce, perché non siete disposti di staccarvi dall’oscurità e di seguire la Luce. Ma contro la vostra volontà non potete essere illuminati. Quando camminavo sulla Terra per portare agli uomini la Luce, ho visto in anticipo quale edificio di menzogna veniva costruito da parte di coloro che si chiamavano Miei seguaci. Ho visto in anticipo che gli uomini venivano guidati totalmente nell’errore e che erano persino troppo deboli di liberarsi dalla confusione degli insegnamenti errati, Io sapevo che proprio là il Mio avversario ha registrato molto errore, dove presuntamene era posto il fondamento da Me Stesso. Perché gli è riuscito di capovolgere tutti i Miei Insegnamenti. E così è sorto una opera, che non ha mai avuto e non poteva mai avere Me come Maestro, che non ho mai potuto partecipare ad un’opera dove si era spinto con evidenza il Mio avversario, perché tutto ciò che Io ho insegnato sulla Terra, è stato invertito. Ed ora varrà un patrimonio spirituale, che non ha avuto la sua origine in Me, ma è opera d’uomo, risultati di un pensare d’intelletto confuso, su cui ha il dominio il Mio avversario. Ma non l’ho potuto impedire, perché non agisco contro la libera volontà degli uomini. Ma ai pochi che tendevano seriamente alla Verità e Mi riconoscevano come l’Eterna Verità, è sempre giunta la pura Verità ed ogni uomo volenteroso poteva accettarla e giungere anche alla maturità animica. Ma quell’opera è rimasta ed è stata sostenuta da tutti coloro che la riconoscevano e non si sono mai seriamente occupati con il patrimonio spirituale che viene loro presentato, che però con seria volontà riconoscerebbero come errato, perché in questo non potrebbero mai riconoscere un $$Essere$$ $$il$$ $$più$$ $$sommamente$$ $$perfetto$$ come Autore, come Fondatore di una tale chiesa, se solo il loro pensare è buono e giusto. Deve sempre essere riconoscibile l’infinto Amore, l’insuperabile Sapienza e Potenza e dove questo non è il caso, è impossibile che Io Sia Stato all’opera, ma là ha sempre il Mio avversario la sua mano nel gioco, e questo rafforzerà davvero sempre di più l’oscurità e non tollererà che i suoi seguaci cerchino di liberarsi di lui. Perciò non stupitevi, voi Miei servitori sulla Terra, se al Mio avversario riesce sempre di nuovo che l’errore venga difeso da uomini che non sono ancora in grado di credere abbastanza vivamente e perciò stimano ancora troppo l’intelletto, invece di ascoltare il cuore, che li istruirebbe davvero in altro modo. L’edificio che è stato eretto dall’avversario, non è così facilmente da abbattere, perché trova forti sostegni in tutti coloro che non lo riconoscono ancora e che perciò accettano anche tutto come Verità senza esaminare seriamente. Ma la volontà degli uomini è libera.
