Right attitude to the work of redemption....

Jesus' crucifixion was the act of atonement for the sins of all humanity. He took all humanity's sins upon Himself when He walked the path to the cross, for He suffered unspeakably both physically and spiritually because the guilt of sin He wanted to atone for was too great. It was the original sin of the spiritual beings' apostasy from God which people would never have been able to atone for themselves, and it was the sin which all people commit in earthly life.... Yet He offered the sacrifice on the cross in love in order to redeem people. No human being is aware of the magnitude of this act of mercy, and no human being can appreciate during earthly life what unheard-of grace it means that he can turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness of his great guilt. For only this forgiveness opens the gate to the kingdom of light for him, because a being burdened by guilt can never enter that kingdom, because it would have to remain in the kingdom of darkness forever if it did not have this forgiveness through Jesus Christ.... And no human being can measure the torment and pain the man Jesus suffered for sinful humanity, which was only ended by the most bitter death on the cross.... No human being can measure the suffering and humiliation He took upon Himself out of love for His fellow human beings, whom He knew to be in deepest spiritual need.... He wanted to remove this great adversity from people, He wanted to smooth the path to the father for them, who were His fallen brothers, He wanted to redeem their guilt of sin because this required God's 'justice', that atonement was made for this guilt of sin. But people have to acknowledge His act of salvation.... they must want Him to die for them too, they themselves must confess their guilt before Him and ask Him for forgiveness.... This is all that is required of them in order to then also be released from their sinfulness, in order to be entitled to the spiritual kingdom again, where there is freedom and light and bliss.... Acknowledging Jesus Christ, the divine redeemer, and taking the path to Him oneself.... is all that is required of people but which every person also has to do of his own free will in order to belong to the redeemed for whom He shed His blood.... The act of salvation has taken place for all people of the past, the present and the future.... But one's own free will is necessary for the human being himself to become free from his guilt of sin, otherwise the whole spiritual world would be redeemed abruptly and would also make a life on earth superfluous if there were only 'redeemed' souls after the death of the cross.... Free will is not eliminated for this redemption, and thus the human being himself must want Jesus to redeem him too through His death.... He has to want to belong to the redeemed and thus consciously ask Him for it. And all people should realize that they themselves must first have the right attitude towards Him, the divine redeemer.... they should believe in Him and unite with Him in thought, they should pray to Him that He may save them, that He may liberate them from sin and its consequences.... And therefore they must acknowledge Him. But then they will have a living faith and thus also the right attitude towards Him, and then they will also belong to those for whom His blood flowed on the cross. Without Him and His redemption, however, the human being will remain in darkness, he will remain in the kingdom which belongs to God's adversary, he will have no connection with God Who embodied Himself in Jesus, he will be outside of those for whom Jesus died on the cross. And then he cannot be saved from spiritual adversity either, then he will collapse under the burden of sin and be unable to rise again without help.... For only the divine redeemer Jesus Christ can free him from his guilt...._>Amen

구원 역사에 대한 올바른 자세.

예수의 십자가의 죽음은 온 인류의 죄를 대속하는 역사였다. 그는 사람들의 모든 죄를 친히 짊어지고 십자가의 길을 갔고 육체적 정신적으로 이루 말할 수 없는 고통을 당했다. 왜냐면 그가 해결하기 원했던 죄짐이 너무 컷기 때문이다. 죄짐은 인간이 절대로 스스로 속죄할 수 없는 하나님을 떠나 타락한 영적인 존재들의 원죄였고 이 땅의 삶을 살면서 모든 사람들이 범하는 죄였다. 그러나 그는 사람들을 구원하기 위해 사랑으로 십자가에서 자신을 희생했다.

어떤 사람도 이런 긍휼의 역사의 위대함을 의식하지 못하고 어떤 사람도 그가 자신의 큰 죄를 용서받기 위해 예수 그리스도께 향할 수 있다는 일이 얼마나 측량할 수 없는 은혜인지를 헤아려볼 수 없다. 그러나 단지 용서가 빛의 나라로 가는 문을 연다. 왜냐면 죄가 있는 존재가 결코 빛의 나라에 들어갈 수 없기 때문이고 존재가 예수 그리스도를 통한 이런 용서를 받지 못했다면, 그가 영원히 어두움의 나라에 머물러야만 하기 때문이다. 인간 예수가 죄를 지은 인류를 위해 겪은 고난과 고통을 어느 누구도 측량할 수 없다. 이런 고난과 고통은 십자가에서 가장 쓰라린 죽음으로 끝이 났다. 이웃이 가장 깊은 영적인 위험에 처해 있는 것을 알았던 그가 자신의 이웃을 위해 사랑으로 견딘 고통과 굴욕을 어느 누구도 측량할 수 없다.

그는 사람들이 이런 큰 위험을 피하게 해주기를 원했고 자신의 타락한 형제들을 위해 아버지께 가는 길을 열어주기를 원했고 그들의 죄 짐을 해결해주기를 원했다. 왜냐면 하나님의 공의가 그들의 죄 짐에 대한 속죄를 행하기를 요구했기 때문이다. 그러나 사람들은 그의 구속 역사를 인정해야만 하고 그가 자신들을 위해 죽었기를 원해야만 하고 그 앞에서 자신들의 죄를 고백하고 용서를 구해야만 한다. 이런 일이 그들에게 요구하는 모든 일이다. 그러면 그들은 죄로부터 자유롭게 되고 다시 자유와 빛과 축복이 있는 영의 나라에 들어갈 권리를 갖게 된다.

하나님의 구세주 예수 그리스도를 인정하고 스스로 그에게 향하는 길을 가는 일이 사람들에게 요구하는 모든 일이다. 그러나 사람이 자신의 피를 흘린 구속받은 무리에 속하려면, 모든 사람이 자신의 자유의지로 이 일을 해야만 한다. 구속 역사는 과거와 현재와 미래의 모든 인류를 위해 이뤄졌다. 그러나 사람 자신이 죄로부터 자유롭게 되려면, 사람 자신의 자유의지가 필요하다. 필요하지 않다면, 영의 세계 전체가 갑자기 구원을 받았을 것이고 십자가의 죽음 후에는 단지 구속받은 혼들만 있게 되었을 것이고 그러면 이 땅의 삶도 불필요하게 되었을 것이다.

이런 구원을 위해 자유의지가 필요하다. 그러므로 사람 자신이 예수가 그의 죽음을 통해 자신을 구속했기를 원해야만 하고 그는 구속받은 무리들 중 한 사람이 되기를 원해야만 한다. 그러므로 그는 예수에게 의식적으로 구속해주기를 구해야만 한다. 모든 사람은 먼저 자신이 신적인 구세주인 예수를 향한 올바른 자세를 가져야만 한다는 사실을 의식해야만 하고 그를 믿어야 하고 그들의 생각으로 그와 연결시켜야 한다. 그들은 그에게 그가 자신들을 구원해주기를 구하고 그가 죄와 그 결과로부터 그들을 자유롭게 해주시기를 구해야 한다. 그러므로 그들은 그를 인정해야만 한다.

그러면 그들에게 생명력이 있는 믿음이 있게 되고 그에 대한 올바른 자세를 갖게 된다. 그러면 그들은 또한 그가 십자가에서 사람들을 위해 그의 피를 흘린 무리에 속하게 될 것이다. 그러나 그와 그의 구원이 없었다면 인간은 어두움 속에 머물고 하나님의 대적자에게 속한 나라에 머물고 하나님 자신이 예수 안에 육신을 입은 하나님과 어떤 연결도 이루지 못하고 예수가 사람들을 위해 십자가에서 죽은 이런 사람들의 무리 밖에 서게 된다. 그러면 그는 영적인 위험으로부터 구원받을 수 없다. 왜냐면 그는 죄의 무게로 신실하고 도움 없이는 더 이상 일어날 수 없게 될 것이기 때문이고 하나님의 구세주 예수 그리스도가 단지 그의 죄에서 그를 해방시킬 수 있기 때문이다.
