Apostasy of beings from God....

In the beginning all beingness shone in the brightest splendour of their perfection.... It was like God.... His images were created in which the eternal godhead was reflected, in which God found His essence in the tiniest measure, for they were sparks of His radiated fire of love, they were sparks of strength which radiated from the source of strength from eternity.... These beings were infinitely blissful, they were close to the father, they constantly received the blissful strength of love and were able to create and work with this strength according to their will, which was also the will of God.... But this state of the beings did not remain such that they stood in the same will with God.... For the will was free and was not forced to direct itself towards God. It was free to turn, even from God to another pole.... And that is what the beingness did, it directed its will wrongly. But since the attainment of the highest perfection of these beings was at stake, a test of will could not be avoided and therefore they were faced with a decision.... They knew that they had emerged from God, from a creative power Which also continued to permeate them with strength of love.... But they could not see it.... whereas they could behold that being which shone in glory, which had emerged from God first and from Whose will they themselves were also begotten as beings using that strength from God.... Standing in highest realization through the light of love which continuously shone towards them, they knew about this process of creating beings through the will of Lucifer and the power of God.... But they were able to see the radiant being of light, Lucifer, while God Himself was and remained inaccessible to them. And now their will was to decide in favour of their creator and shaper from eternity.... And the will of the beingness split.... One part remained faithful to its creator, Whom it recognized as the only active elementary power, while a large part turned to the visible spirit in deluded thinking, although it did not lack realization, but it allowed itself to be dazzled by the beauty of Lucifer, Who shone in all glory as long as He was still united with God. The separation from Him, however, lasted for an infinitely long time until his being was so darkened that it was no longer aspired to by the beings as 'God' but was only regarded as a lord who had the beings under his control. But in the beginning he shone in brightest brilliance, and during this time the beingness still decided in his favour. The fall therefore already happened when the beings turned towards their radiant producer and put God aside because He was not visible to them. Only after the fall did their spirit darken, after the fall the being fell into darkness, by which is to be understood the state of complete lack of knowledge in which all spiritual beings which had fallen away from God languish in eternal torment.... But this decision of will had to take place once, free will had to be tested as to which direction it turned, because the highest perfection depends on it, the state of the being, which cannot be created but has to be established by the being itself. However, the fact that countless beings have fallen does not prevent them from once again using their will correctly (rightly) and taking the path of return to God again, but then He will have made perfect children out of the beings who will still be blissfully happy to a far greater degree than the beings could have been in the beginning as 'created' beings.... Yet endless times will pass until the being has shaped itself back into perfection again, because free will will always be decisive if the highest perfection is to be achieved.... because free will will always be tested again, which has to turn completely to God in Jesus Christ, Who is now the visible God for Whom the being longed and with Whom it will also unite in its perfection....

De afval van de wezens van God

In het begin straalde al het wezenlijke in zijn helderste glans van volmaaktheid. Het was aan God gelijk. Zijn evenbeelden waren geschapen, in welke zich de eeuwige Godheid spiegelde, in welke God Zijn wezen terugvond in allerkleinste mate, want het waren vonken van Zijn uitgestraalde liefdesvuur, het waren krachtvonken die fonkelend wegspatten van de Krachtbron van eeuwigheid. Deze wezens waren onbeperkt gelukzalig. Ze waren in de nabijheid van de Vader, ze ontvingen onophoudelijk de hen gelukkig stemmende liefdeskracht en ze konden met deze kracht scheppen en werkzaam zijn naar hun wil, die ook de wil van God was. Maar deze staat van de wezens bleef niet zo dat ze in dezelfde wil met God stonden. Want de wil was vrij en werd niet gedwongen zich op God te richten. Hij kon zich vrij wenden, ook van God af, naar een andere pool. En dat deed het wezenlijke ook, het richtte zijn wil verkeerd. Maar daar het om het bereiken van de hoogste volmaaktheid van deze wezens ging, was een beproeving van de wil niet te omzeilen. En daarom werden ze voor een beslissing geplaatst.

Ze wisten dat ze uit God waren voortgekomen, uit een Scheppingskracht die hen ook nog voortdurend met liefdeskracht doorstraalde. Maar ze konden deze niet zien, terwijl ze wel dat wezen konden aanschouwen dat in heerlijkheid straalde, dat als eerste uit God was voortgekomen en uit diens wil ook zij zelf als wezen waren verwekt met gebruikmaking van de kracht uit God. In het hoogste inzicht staand, door het voortdurend naar hen toe stralende liefdeslicht, waren ze op de hoogte van dit gebeuren van het scheppen van wezens door de wil van Lucifer en de kracht van God. Maar ze konden het stralende lichtwezen, Lucifer, aanschouwen, terwijl God zelf voor hen onzichtbaar was en bleef. En nu diende hun wil te beslissen voor hun Schepper en Vormgever van eeuwigheid.

En de wil van het wezenlijke splitste zich. Een deel bleef zijn Schepper trouw, Die het herkende als de alleen werkende Oerkracht, terwijl een groter deel zich naar de zichtbare geest toekeerde in verblind denken, hoewel het dit niet aan inzicht ontbrak, maar het liet zich verblinden door de schoonheid van Lucifer, die in alle heerlijkheid straalde zolang hij nog met God verbonden was. Maar de scheiding van Hem strekte zich uit over eindeloos lange tijden, tot zijn wezen zo verduisterd was dat er niet meer door de wezens op hem werd aangestuurd als god, maar hij alleen nog als heer gold die het wezenlijke in zijn macht had. Maar in het begin straalde hij in helderste glans en nog in deze tijd besliste het wezenlijke voor hem. De val geschiedde dus al toen de wezens zich naar hun stralende verwekker toekeerden en God, omdat Hij voor hen niet zichtbaar was, achteruit plaatsten. Pas na de val verduisterde hun geest. Na de val viel het wezen in de duisternis, waaronder de staat van totaal gebrek aan inzicht is te verstaan, waarin al het van God afgevallen geestelijke smacht in eeuwige kwelling. Maar deze wilsbeslissing moest eens plaatsvinden. De vrije wil moest worden beproefd, in welke richting hij zich keerde, omdat daar de hoogste volmaaktheid van afhangt. De staat van het wezen die niet kan worden geschapen, maar door het wezen zelf tot stand moet worden gebracht.

Dat er nu talloze wezens gevallen zijn, verhindert ze echter niet hun wil eens weer juist te gebruiken en weer de weg van de terugkeer naar God te nemen, die dan echter van de wezens volmaakte kinderen heeft gemaakt die in nog veel hogere graad gelukzalig zullen zijn dan de wezens in het allereerste begin als "geschapen" wezens konden zijn. Maar er zullen eindeloze tijden voorbijgaan tot het wezen zich weer heeft omgevormd tot volkomenheid, omdat steeds weer de vrije wil doorslaggevend zal zijn, wil de hoogste volmaaktheid bereikt worden, omdat steeds weer de vrije wil zal worden beproefd, die zich volkomen op God moet richten in Jezus Christus, Die nu de zichtbare God is, naar Wie het wezen vurig verlangde en met Wie het zich ook in zijn volmaaktheid aaneen zal sluiten.
