The right soul doctor....

Every sick person needs healing medicine if he wants to recover and let his body become fresh and strong again in order to be able to fulfil his duties on earth.... And thus the sick soul also requires healing medicine which helps it to gain strength in order to likewise be able to fulfil the task it has been given for earthly life. It is sick and weak when it begins life as a human being, and it has an ascent ahead of it for which it needs strength. (8.3.1957) Therefore healing must be brought to it, it must entrust itself to a doctor and helper who knows its illnesses, who now administers the right medicine through which it can recover. It must enjoy strong nourishment in order to also gain strength and now also be able to cover the ascent to the heights. And there is only one doctor who can truly help it, who knows all its sufferings and weaknesses and who has the right medicine ready for all: It is Jesus Christ, the saviour and redeemer from sin and death.... And there is only one healing nourishment which He administers to the sick soul: His word, which alone puts the soul into the state that it can now powerfully walk the path upwards, which lets it reach the aim for the purpose of which it was allowed to embody itself on earth. For this word is the bread which comes from heaven, which divine love distributes with a hand of blessing, which truly lets every sick soul recover when it is gratefully received from the hand of Jesus Christ.... the creator and father of eternity.... when the soul refreshes itself with it, when it truly enjoys flesh and blood, the word, which flows constantly as God's flow of grace and is accessible to everyone who feels hunger and thirst, who is sick and weak and needs bread and wine in order to regain strength.... His word is the right medicine for the sick soul, and it is the source of strength for the healthy but still weak soul, for just as the human soul on earth is made up.... it constantly needs food and drink, it will never be able to do without nourishment because it shall mature in earthly life and for this it always requires strength which alone can flow to it through the word of God. And if a person is aware of his weakness, if he recognizes that his soul is still sick and in need of a doctor, then he will also turn to the one Who offers him a certain guarantee that he will be helped.... He will entrust himself to Jesus Christ and appeal for recovery, he will admit his weakness and inadequacy to Him and lean on Him, for he knows that he will find support with Him, that Jesus Christ as a physician of the soul is also willing to give him what his soul needs.... He knows that His healing hand only needs to stretch out so that he will become healthy and that He will continue to administer the right nourishment to it. And he will accept His word, he will draw strength from His word again and again and soon also experience the effect of the divine word on himself.... For a divine gift does not remain ineffective. But anyone who does not recognize his soul's illnesses will not supply it with the right medicine either, and it will remain weak and miserable, it will not be able to manage the ascent upwards, and furthermore it will also be without nourishment, for the right nourishment for the soul is only the word of God. And thus it can be that a soul, at the end of its earthly life, is still just as meagre and weak as it entered earth.... For it can indeed be meagre and completely powerless but it cannot pass away.... And in this state it must now also enter the spiritual kingdom where it will bitterly feel its inadequacy. But again and again the saviour of the sick and weak approaches people, again and again He offers Himself to help them recover, again and again He lets the flow of strength to earth from which all sick souls could draw strength.... And truly, the sickness and weakness will be taken away from every soul which entrusts itself to the saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ. And the remorse of those will be bitter who passed Him by and never made use of His medical help, for they will remain sick and weak and thus also enter the kingdom of the beyond in this way....

De ware Arts voor de ziel

Elke zieke behoeft genezende medicijn, wil hij herstellen en zijn lichaam weer fris en krachtig laten worden, om zijn plichten op aarde te kunnen vervullen. En zo ook heeft de zieke ziel behoefte aan een "heilzaam medicijn" dat haar helpt krachtig te worden om eveneens de taak te kunnen vervullen die haar voor het aardse leven is gesteld. Ze is ziek en zwak wanneer ze het leven als mens begint en ze heeft een weg omhoog voor zich waarvoor ze kracht nodig heeft.

Er moet haar dus genezing worden gebracht, ze moet zich aan een dokter en helper toevertrouwen die haar ziekten kent, die haar nu het juiste medicijn toedient waardoor ze weer gezond kan worden. Ze moet krachtig voedsel gebruiken om ook in kracht toe te nemen en dan ook de klim omhoog te kunnen afleggen. En er bestaat maar een Dokter Die haar waarlijk helpen kan, Die al haar lijden en zwakheden kent en Die voor alles de juiste medicijn gereedhoudt: JEZUS CHRISTUS, de Heiland en Verlosser van zonde en dood.

En er bestaat maar een genezend voedsel, dat HIJ de zieke ziel geeft: Zijn Woord dat alleen de ziel verplaatst in de toestand dat ze nu vol kracht de weg omhoog kan gaan, dat haar het doel laat bereiken ten behoeve waarvan zij zich op aarde mocht belichamen. Want dit WOORD is het brood dat uit de hemel komt, dat de goddelijke Liefde uitdeelt met zegenende hand, dat waarlijk iedere zieke ziel gezond laat worden, wanneer het met dank uit de hand van JEZUS CHRISTUS, van de Schepper en VADER van eeuwigheid wordt aangenomen, wanneer de ziel zich daaraan laaft, wanneer ze in waarheid eet en drinkt van het vlees en bloed, het Woord, dat als een stroom van GOD's genade onophoudelijk stroomt en voor ieder toegankelijk is die honger en dorst lijdt, die ziek en zwak is en brood en wijn nodig heeft om weer krachtig te worden.

Zijn Woord is het ware medicijn voor de zieke ziel en het is de bron van kracht voor de gezonde - maar nog zwakke ziel, want hoe ook de ziel van de mens op aarde geaard is - ze heeft voortdurend spijs en drank nodig, ze zal nooit voedsel kunnen missen, omdat ze helemaal rijp moet worden in het leven op aarde en daartoe altijd behoefte heeft aan de kracht die haar alleen door het Woord GOD's kan toestromen. En als een mens zich van zijn zwakheid bewust is, beseft hij dat zijn ziel nog ziek is en een arts nodig heeft, dan zal hij zich ook tot die ENE wenden DIE hem de vaste garantie geeft, dat hij geholpen wordt. Hij zal zich aan JEZUS CHRISTUS toevertrouwen en om genezing vragen, hij zal HEM zijn zwakheid en gebrekkigheid bekennen en zich bij HEM aansluiten, want hij weet dat hij bij HEM steun vindt, dat JEZUS CHRISTUS als arts voor de ziel ook bereid is, hem te geven wat zijn ziel nodig heeft. Hij weet dat Zijn genezende hand zich maar hoeft uit te strekken, opdat hij gezond wordt en dat HIJ ook voortaan haar het juiste voedsel zal geven. En hij zal Zijn Woord in ontvangst nemen, hij zal steeds weer kracht putten uit Zijn Woord en spoedig ook de werking van het goddelijke Woord bij zich zelf ondervinden. Want een goddelijke gave blijft niet zonder uitwerking.

Maar wie de ziekten van zijn ziel niet beseft die bezorgt haar ook niet het juiste medicijn en ze zal zwak en ellendig blijven, ze zal de klim omhoog niet aankunnen en tevens zal ze ook geen voedsel hebben, want het ware voedsel voor de ziel is alleen het Woord GOD's. En zo kan het voorkomen dat een ziel bij het beëindigen van haar leven op aarde nog precies zo armelijk en zwak is als ze de aarde heeft betreden. Want ze kan wel behoeftig en volledig krachteloos zijn, maar ze kan niet vergaan. En in deze toestand moet ze nu ook het geestelijke rijk betreden, waar ze haar ontoereikendheid bitter zal gevoelen.

Maar steeds wendt de Heiland van de zieken en zwakken Zich tot de mensen, steeds weer biedt HIJ ZichZelf aan hen te helpen gezond te worden, steeds weer laat HIJ de stroom van kracht naar de aarde vloeien waaraan alle zielen kracht voor zichzelf zouden kunnen halen.

En waarlijk, van iedere ziel die zich aan de Redder en Heiland JEZUS CHRISTUS toevertrouwt, wordt de ziekte en zwakheid weggenomen. En het berouw van diegenen die aan HEM zijn voorbijgegaan en nooit aanspraak maakten op Zijn doktershulp zal heel bitter zijn, want ze zullen ziek en zwak blijven en dus ook zo in het rijk hierna binnengaan.
