The right path.... the right guide....

Enter all the path that leads to the heights.... It is narrow and impassable but the obstacles can be overcome if you entrust yourselves to a good guide Who knows the path, Who will lead you past all obstacles and cliffs with a sure hand and Who also chooses the shortest path to the aim. Do not let yourselves be frightened by the efforts and strains that lie ahead of you, for your guide will also give you strength for this, and you will overcome everything effortlessly and also no longer feel the path to be as steep and impassable as you initially believed. And if you look back, it will seem like child's play to you and you will also call out to your fellow human beings to choose that path which brought you to the aim. But the aim is the gate into the kingdom of light which is open for you who have walked this narrow path upwards. And thus you must regard all difficulties in your earthly life, all strokes of fate, adversity, illness and failures as obstacles which again and again obstruct your path to ascent and which you must bravely overcome, but not flee from them and stray onto side paths which seem easier to you.... For these lead far away from the right aim. Therefore, accept everything that earthly life offers you in terms of difficulties.... Ask for strength, turn to the right guide and be certain that you will overcome them, because the guide will help you and His help is always a guarantee to reach the aim. A level path does not require any effort, but you will also constantly remain on the same level.... But you shall reach the height. Your bliss is at the top, for you are still at the bottom, where the kingdom of the wretched is, from which you should ascend in order to be able to be blissful.... Hence you also have to use strength and therefore entrust yourselves to a powerful guide, and once He has taken over the leadership you will, as it were, be carried upwards, for your will to reach the top is already the strength which will accomplish your ascent. For this reason a laborious, arduous earthly life should always be proof to you that you are on the path to ascent.... Whereas you run the risk of having deviated if life does not demand any effort from you. You must not only think of physical exertion but rather of that strength which requires you to overcome suffering and hardship of all kinds, for you must become still in all the trials you face, and this 'becoming still', this 'bearing in submission' also requires strength which you may draw from your faith and love.... To bear suffering patiently is also to overcome the obstacles on the path upwards by humbly taking upon yourselves what is good for the salvation of your soul, which now becomes increasingly lighter when it can cast off its dross and now the ascent also becomes increasingly easier for it. There is only one thing for you: to entrust yourselves to the divine leader Jesus Christ with complete faith that He will take over the guidance and that you will now follow Him without hesitation, no matter how and where He leads you.... And if it is over suffering and adversity, then He also knows that this path will bring you success, that it is the right and shortest path for you, and then you must be willing to take it without contradiction and you will not regret having entrusted yourselves to His guidance. Only ask for strength to be able to cope with all resistance, but don't ask for averting this.... For your guide is always at your side, and He sustains you and gives you assistance wherever obstacles stand in your way.... And every overcoming of such obstacles signifies the safe distance from the abyss, and the ascent will become ever easier for you the more firmly you trust in Jesus Christ's help that He will open the gate for you which leads into the kingdom of light....

올바른 길. 올바른 지도자.

모두가 높은 곳으로 이어지는 길을 가라. 이 길은 좁고 가기에 어렵다. 그러나 너희가 이 길을 잘 아는 훌륭한 인도자에게 너희 자신을 맡기면, 그는 안전한 손으로 너희가 모든 장애물과 절벽을 지나갈 수 있게 하고 또한 목표에 이르는 최단 경로를 택하고 이로써 장애물들을 극복할 수 있다. 너희 앞에 놓여 있는 수고와 힘든 일로 인해 두려워하지 말라. 왜냐면 너희의 인도자가 너희에게 필요한 힘을 줄 것이기 때문이다. 너희는 모든 일을 쉽게 극복할 것이고 너희는 또한 너희가 초기에 믿었던 것처럼 더 이상 길이 가파르고 지나갈 수 없게 느끼지 않게 될 것이다. 너희가 되돌아보면, 이일이 너희에게 어린 아이의 놀이처럼 보이고 너희는 또한 이웃에게 너희를 목적지로 인도한 길을 택하라고 소리치게 된다.

그러나 목표는 빛의 나라로 들어가는 문이다. 이 문은 좁은 길을 통해 높은 곳에 도달한 너희를 위해 열려 있다. 그러므로 너희는 이 땅의 삶의 모든 어려움과 모든 운명적인 일들과 고난과 질병과 실패를 너희가 계속해서 높은 곳으로 가는 길을 방해하는 장애물로 여겨야만 한다. 너희는 이런 장애물을 용감하게 극복해야만 하고 도망쳐서는 안 되고 겉으로 보기에 너희에게 쉽게 생각되는 갈라지는 길로 가서는 안 된다. 왜냐면 그런 길은 올바른 목표로부터 멀어지게 하기 때문이다.

그러므로 이 땅의 삶이 너희에게 주는 모든 어려움을 받아들이라. 힘을 구하라. 올바른 지도자에게 도움을 구하라. 너희가 모든 어려움을 극복할 것이라는 확신을 가지라. 왜냐면 인도자가 너희를 돕고 그의 도움이 항상 목표를 달성한다는 보장을 하기 때문이다. 평탄한 길은 힘을 요구하지 않는다. 그러나 너희가 항상 같은 단계에 머물러 있게 된다. 그러나 너희는 높은 곳에 도달해야 한다. 왜냐면 너희는 아직 낮은 곳에 있기 때문이다. 낮은 곳은 불행의 나라이고 너희가 축복을 받을 수 있기 위해 이런 나라를 벗어나 위로 올라가야 한다.

그러므로 너희는 힘을 사용해야만 하고 그러므로 너희는 너희 자신을 힘이 충만한 인도자에게 맡겨야만 한다. 인도자가 비로소 한번 인도를 맡게 되면, 너희는 동시에 위를 향해 옮겨질 것이다. 왜냐면 높은 곳에 도달하려는 너희의 의지가 이미 힘이고 이 힘이 너희가 높은 곳에 도달하게 하기 때문이다. 이 땅의 힘들고 고 된 삶이 항상 너희가 높은 곳으로 향하는 길을 가고 있다는 증거가 돼야 한다. 반면에 삶이 너희에게 어떤 힘도 요구하지 않는다면, 너희가 길에서 벗어날 위험에 처한 것이다.

너희는 이 가운데 단지 육체적인 수고를 생각해야만 하는 것이 아니라 모든 종류의 고통과 고난을 극복하기 위해 요구되는 힘을 생각해야만 한다. 왜냐면 너희는 너희에게 주어진 모든 시험에서 침묵해야만 하기 때문이다. 이런 침묵하는 일과 순종하면 견디는 일에 너희의 믿음과 너희의 사랑을 통해 얻을 수 있는 힘이 필요하다. 너희가 순종하면 고난을 받아드리고 고난을 인내하면 견디는 일이 또한 높은 곳으로 향하는 길에 장애물을 극복하는 일이다. 고난이 너희의 혼을 치유하고 너희 혼이 혼의 불순물을 버릴 수 있게 하고 이제 성장하는 일이 혼에게 더 쉽게 느껴지면, 고난이 이제 항상 더 수월해지게 된다.

단 한 가지의 일이 너희를 위한 일이다: 하나님의 인도자 예수 그리스도께 너희 자신을 전적으로 의탁해서 그가 너희를 인도하고 그가 너희를 어디로 인도하든 너희가 주저 없이 그를 따르는 일이다. 고통과 고난이 있다면, 그는 또한 이 길이 너희가 성공하게 한다는 것을 알고 이런 길이 너희에게 옳은 길이고 가장 짧은 길이라는 것을 안다. 그러면 너희는 저항하지 않고 그런 길을 갈 준비가 되어 있어야만 한다. 그러면 너희는 너희 자신을 그의 인도에 맡긴 일로 인해 후회하지 않게 될 것이다.

단지 모든 장애물에 대처할 수 있는 힘을 구하라. 그러나 모든 장애물을 피하게 해주기를 구하지 말라. 왜냐면 너희의 인도자가 항상 너희의 곁에 있고 너희를 지원하고 너희 길에 장애물이 있으면, 너희를 돕기 때문이다. 이런 장애물을 극복하는 모든 일은 깊은 곳을 확실하게 벗어나는 일을 의미한다. 너희가 빛의 나라로 인도하는 문을 너희에게 열어 주는 예수 그리스도의 도움을 더 굳게 확신할수록 너희에게 성장하는 일이 항상 더 쉽게 될 것이다.
