Grace of embodiment as a human being....

No human being is aware of the unheard-of grace of being allowed to live on earth, for no human being recognizes his actual self.... No human being can appreciate what he was in the beginning and what he can become again through a right earthly life.... He once shone in inexpressible beauty, his abundance of light and strength was unlimited, and therefore his bliss was also unlimited. But no human being on earth can imagine such bliss and abundance of light and strength, and knowledge alone is not enough to grasp the great grace granted to the being that it may embody itself as a human being in order to emerge again from a freely chosen state which it had created for itself but which is completely unworthy of this perfect being.... But the fact that the human being cannot grasp it is well thought out by God, otherwise the earthly course could not result in free development to ascent but would force every being to ascend, which, however, would eliminate the attainment of perfection. And thus the human being stands, as it were, completely blind in an area which he has to walk through in order to reach the aim. And his blindness would always let him go astray if he were not accompanied by a guide who offered him his guidance. This guide will now tell him what he can achieve, he will also present his deficient state to him as self-inflicted and again and again spur him on to change it, but he will also leave him full freedom of will to listen to his ideas and to lead his way of life accordingly or to go his own way. But no human being needs to go through life without spiritual guidance.... And this, too, is again a grace.... therefore a grace, because once the being stood in brightest light and voluntarily gave itself to this light. Thus it spurned something divine, it rejected what God's great love bestowed upon it when He created the being. And this was a sin which justly had to lead to complete darkness.... and justly also meant a wasting away of God's love and mercy.... But the divine love and mercy does not deny itself eternally. But it is and remains an act of grace that God gives these fallen through their own fault the opportunity to work their way up again, even though this happens in such a way that the human being himself is not aware of the significance of his earthly existence. But God also tries to provide him with the knowledge about it, only 'knowledge' and complete 'realization' are still different, but the human being can acquire a degree of realization that he is able to believe what is presented to him as knowledge. Yet a single glimpse into his original state of light would render the human being incapable of further striving, for he would then perish under the force of his sin.... But he shall reach his former state of light again. For this reason every possibility has been opened up to him through God's love and grace, thus he finds himself in a perpetually flowing flow of grace of divine love which can also lead him to the aim if he completely surrenders himself to it, if he does not 'swim against the current'.... that is, if he does not offer inner resistance to those spiritual guides who are extremely eager to help him progress, but who nevertheless leave him complete freedom. But anyone who willingly allows himself to be steered and guided will come ever closer to his original state, and soon he will also recognize in his spirit the truth of what is presented to him.... he recognizes God's infinite love and grace, and then he humbly submits himself to the God and father he has recognized, and he desires Him with all his senses.... Then he can already be permeated by a small light of realization which, however, is only a faint reflection of the original light which once completely permeated him.... But then the grace of embodiment as a human being bestowed upon him was not ineffective, and then he returned to the father, from Whom he is no longer able to separate even in eternity, for love has now indissolubly united him with the eternal love....

인간으로 육신을 입는 은혜.

아무도 이 땅에서 살 수 있게 된 은혜를 의식하지 못한다. 왜냐면 아무도 자신이 진정으로 누구인지를 깨닫지 못하기 때문이다. 아무도 자신이 원래 초기에 어떠했고 올바른 이 땅의 삶을 통해 다시 원래 초기처럼 될 수 있다는 것을 추측할 수 없다. 그는 한때 말할 수 없는 아름다움을 발산했고 그의 빛과 힘의 충만함이 무한했고 그러므로 그의 축복도 무한했다. 그러나 이 땅의 어떤 인간도 그런 축복과 빛과 힘의 충만함을 상상할 수 없다. 존재가 자신이 스스로 창조했고 자신이 자유롭게 선택한 온전한 존재에게 전혀 합당하지 않은 상태를 벗어나기 위해 인간으로 육신을 입을 수 있도록 존재에게 부여 된 큰 은혜를 단지 지식만으로는 이 땅의 어떤 인간도 이해할 수 없다.

그러나 사람이 이를 이해하지 못하는 일은 하나님이 잘 생각해둔 일이다. 그렇지 않으면 이 땅의 과정이 자유롭게 높은 성장을 이룰 수 없게 되고 모든 존재를 높이 성장하도록 강요했을 것이고 그러면 온전하게 되는 일이 불가능하게 되었을 것이다. 그러므로 사람은 완전히 눈이 먼 가운데 목표에 도달하기 위해 가야만 하는 영역에 서게 된다. 그를 안내하는 인도자가 그와 동행하게 하지 않았다면, 그의 눈이 먼 상태가 항상 그가 잘못 된 길을 가게 했을 것이다. 이런 인도자가 이제 그에게 그가 성취할 수 있는 것을 말해주고 또한 그의 부족한 상태를 그 자신의 잘못으로 알려주고 그의 부족한 상태를 변화시키도록 항상 또 다시 격려해줄 것이다. 그러나 그가 인도자의 말을 듣고 그의 삶을 인도자의 말대로 살지 또는 자신의 길을 갈지 완전히 자유한 상태에 머물게 될 것이다.

그러나 아무도 영적인 인도자 없이 삶을 살 필요가 없다. 이는 또한 은혜이다. 왜냐면 존재가 한때 가장 밝은 빛 가운데 거했고 자유의지로 이런 빛을 버렸기 때문에 은혜이다. 그러므로 그는 어떤 신적인 것을 무시했고 하나님이 존재를 창조할 때 그의 큰 사랑으로 그에게 선물해준 것을 거부했다. 이런 일은 죄였고 공의롭게 존재가 전적으로 어둡게 되는 결과가 나타나야만 했고 이 죄는 공의롭게 하나님의 사랑과 긍휼을 잃는 일을 의미했다.

그러나 하나님의 사랑과 긍휼은 영원히 포기하지 않는다. 그러나 하나님이 이런 자신의 잘못으로 타락한 존재들에게 높이 올라갈 수 있는 기회를 다시 주는 일은 비록 이 일이 사람 자신이 이 땅에 존재하는 의미를 의식하지 못하는 가운데 일어날지라도 은혜의 역사이다. 그러나 하나님은 또한 이에 관한 지식을 그에게 제공하려고 시도한다. 그러나 단지 아는 일과 완전하게 깨닫는 일에는 차이가 있다. 그러나 사람은 깨달음의 정도를 얻을 수 있고 이로써 그가 그에게 제시되는 지식을 믿을 수 있게 된다.

그러나 사람이 단지 한번 자신의 원래 초기의 빛의 상태를 보게 되는 일이 그가 더 이상 추구할 수 없게 만들 것이다. 왜냐면 그가 자신 죄의 짐으로 소멸될 것이기 때문이다. 그러나 그는 이전의 빛 상태에 다시 도달해야 한다. 그러므로 그에게 하나님의 사랑과 은혜를 통해 모든 가능성이 열리게 된다. 그러므로 그는 끊임없이 흐르는 하나님의 사랑의 은혜의 흐름 속에 거하고 이런 흐름이 그를 그의 목표로 인도할 수 있다. 이를 위한 조건은 그가 자신을 은혜의 흐름에 완전히 맡기는 일이고 그가 은혜의 흐름을 거슬려 올라가지 않는 일이다. 즉 그가 모든 영적인 안내자들에게 내적으로 저항하지 않는 일이다. 영적인 안내자들은 그가 성장해나가도록 아주 열심히 노력하지만 그러나 그의 전적인 자유에 맡긴다.

그러나 자원하여 인도받고 지도받는 사람은 항상 자신의 원래의 상태에 점점 더 가까워지고 그는 또한 곧 그의 영을 통해 자신에게 제시되는 것이 진리임을 깨닫게 된다. 그는 하나님의 무한한 사랑과 은혜를 깨닫고 겸손하게 자신이 깨달은 하나님 아버지께 복종하고 모든 감각으로 하나님 아버지를 갈망하게 된다. 그러면 그는 이미 작은 깨달음의 빛을 받을 수 있게 된다. 그러나 이런 빛은 그가 한때 모든 충만함으로 받았던 원래 빛에 비하면 약한 빛에 불과하다. 그러면 그에게 주어진 인간으로 육신을 입는 은혜가 효력이 나타나고 그는 더 이상 영원에서 분리될 수 없게 아버지에게 돌아 가게 된다. 왜냐면 사랑이 이제 그를 영원한 사랑과 뗄레야 뗄 수 없게 연결시켰기 때문이다.
