"He who believes in Me.... " Love works....

You can always abide by My word.... And My word will always teach you the same, that love comes first, that the commandment of love is the greatest and most noble commandment, because the fulfilment of this commandment cannot be avoided if you want to enter eternal beatitude. And love will always express itself in some way, because love is strength which is active.... which therefore means that it expresses itself through works, or also that an activity of love will always be recognisable where the human being's love has been kindled, where My divine commandments are fulfilled.... It does not matter in which way this activity expresses itself, for it need not always be visible works, care of a different kind, whether spiritual or earthly, can also be regarded as a work of love.... always provided that true unselfish love underlies this activity. For equally good works can also be carried out which are certainly also beneficial for the fellow human being but which lack the motive of love.... These works are dead and will not be able to give life to the soul one day, just as, conversely, love does not necessarily need to be apparent and yet can determine a person's thoughts and actions.... Love, then, is of first priority.... and only this love makes faith come alive.... Thus no one will be able to say that he has a firm faith if he does not live in love. Without love no-one will recognise Me Myself in Jesus Christ either, even if he does not object to these teachings and thus wants to outwardly profess his faith in them.... He cannot possess this faith without love. Therefore no-one will be able to refer to his faith in order to be saved who has refrained from working in love, because he is incapable of living faith, because he only intellectually professes a faith in order to partake of the blessings of faith known to him.... because My words read: "He who 'believes' in Me shall have eternal life...." Without love faith is dead; a person may perhaps be intellectually convinced of the way of life of the man Jesus on earth, of His death on the cross and His act of Salvation.... But he lacks inner conviction and will never be able to recognise Me Myself in the man Jesus and thus convincingly acknowledge Jesus Christ as the One with Whom I became one through love. Because he lacks love himself he lacks all realisation, My spirit cannot enlighten him and his thinking.... And what he says is only the result of intellect, a dead knowledge without life.... a faith without love is not the faith I have spoken of that will bring you eternal life.... but all of you can kindle love within yourselves because I have placed the spark of love within you.... and that is grace.... You therefore are saved "through My grace".... because without this special gift of grace you would be completely powerless and could not attain life for ever.... That you are allowed to embody yourselves as a human being on this earth is likewise a grace, a gift from Me, which is not your merit, for your will was and still is directed against Me when you begin earthly life.... But all of you have the same right to attain life, all of you only need to use the gift of grace in the right way, all of you only need to give your will, which is completely free, the right direction.... Thus you will never be determined or chosen by Me to be saved, instead, you alone choose the fate of salvation or damnation.... and only ever by how you make use of My gift of grace, how you behave towards the spark of love within you.... For you must kindle this spark within yourselves in order to be able to enter everlasting life after the death of your body. Everything emanates from love: brightest realisation and thus a living faith, which inevitably also results in redemption and intimate union with Me.... Love, however, never remains inactive, it will always express itself in works, be it of a spiritual or earthly nature, for it is a power which constantly remains active....

나를 믿는 사람들은 사랑을 행한다.

너희는 항상 내 말씀을 의지할 수 있다. 내 말씀은 항상 같은 것을 가르쳐 줄 것이다. 사랑은 첫 번째이고 사랑의 계명은 가장 큰 계명이고 가장 고귀한 계명이다. 왜냐면 너희가 영원한 축복에 도달하기 원하면, 너희가 이 계명을 성취시키는 일을 회피할 수 없기 때문이다. 사랑은 항상 어떤 방식으로든 역사를 통해 나타날 것이다. 왜냐면 사랑은 활동하는 힘이기 때문이다. 이 말의 의미는 사랑이 역사를 통해 나타난다는 의미이고 또는 인간의 사랑이 불타오르고 내 하나님의 계명이 성취되는 곳에서 항상 사랑을 행하는 일을 깨달을 수 있다는 의미이다.

이런 역사가 어떤 방식으로 역사할지는 상관이 없다. 왜냐면 사랑의 역사가 항상 볼 수 있는 역사가 될 필요가 없고 사랑의 역사가 세상적으로나 영적으로 사랑의 역사로 여길 수 있는 다른 종류의 돌보는 일이 될 수 있기 때문이다. 이를 위한 전제 조건은 돌보는 일이 항상 진정한 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑에 근거를 두는 일이다. 왜냐면 그런 일이 또한 선한 일이 될 수 있고 실제 이웃에게 최선이 될 수 있지만 사랑에 근거를 두지 않을 수 있기 때문이다. 그러면 그런 역사는 죽은 역사이고 언젠가 혼에게 생명을 줄 수 없게 될 것이다. 이와 반대로 사랑이 반드시 분명하게 나타날 필요는 없지만 그러나 사랑이 사람의 생각과 행동을 정할 수 있다.

그러므로 사랑이 가장 중요하고 이런 사랑이 비로소 믿음을 생명력이 있게 만든다. 그러므로 어느 누구도 사랑 안에서 살지 않으면서 확고한 믿음을 가지고 있다고 스스로 말할 수 없게 될 것이다. 사랑이 없는 어느 누구도 비록 그가 예수 그리스도 안의 나 자신에 대한 가르침에 대해 어떤 반대도 하지 않고 이로써 자신의 믿음을 외부 세계로 나타내기를 원할지라도 그리스도 안의 나 자신을 인정하지 않게 될 것이다. 사랑이 없는 사람은 이런 믿음을 가질 수 없다. 그러므로 사랑을 행하지 않는 사람이 구원받기 위해 자신의 믿음을 내세울 수 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 그가 생명력이 있는 믿음을 가질 수 없고 그가 단지 그가 알고 있는 믿음의 축복을 얻기 위해 이성적인 믿음을 보여줄 수 있고 내 말씀이 "나를 믿는 사람은 영원한 생명을 얻게 될 것이다." 라고 되어 있기 때문이다.

사랑이 없으면 믿음은 죽은 믿음이다. 사람이 실제 이성을 통해 인간 예수의 이 땅의 삶과 십자가의 죽음과 그의 구속사역을 확신할 수 있게 될 것이다. 그러나 그에게 내면의 확신이 부족하여 그는 절대로 예수 안의 나 자신을 깨달을 수 없게 될 것이다. 즉 내가 사랑을 통해 그와 하나가 된 예수 그리스도를 절대로 확신할 수 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 그 자신에게 사랑이 부족하고 모든 깨달음이 부족하고 내 영이 그와 그의 생각을 깨우쳐주지 못하기 때문이다. 그가 말하는 말은 단지 이성의 결과이고 생명이 없는 죽은 지식이다.

사랑이 없는 믿음은 내가 말한 너희에게 영원한 생명을 주는 믿음이 아니다. 그러나 너희 모두는 너희 안에 사랑이 불타오르게 할 수 있다. 왜냐면 내가 너희 안에 사랑의 불씨를 넣어주었기 때문이다. 이런 역사는 은혜의 역사이다. 그러므로 너희는 내 은혜로 축복을 받게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 이런 특별한 은혜의 선물이 없다면, 너희는 완전히 무기력하고 영원히 생명에 도달할 수 없게 되었을 것이기 때문이다. 너희가 이 땅에서 인간으로 육신을 입을 수 있게 된 일은 또한 너희의 공로 가 아닌 내가 주는 선물이고 은혜이다. 그러나 너희가 이 땅의 삶을 시작할 때 너희의 의지는 아직 나에게 대항했고 대항하고 있다. 그러나 너희 모두는 생명에 도달할 동일한 권한을 가지고 있고 너희 모두가 단지 은혜의 선물을 올바르게 사용하면 되고 너희 모두가 완전히 자유한 너희의 의지를 올바른 방향으로 향하게 하면 된다.

그러므로 너희는 절대로 나에 의해 축복을 받도록 정함을 받거나 또는 선택되지 않았고 유일하게 너희가 축복된 운명이나 저주받는 운명을 택하고 너희는 항상 단지 내 은혜의 선물을 어떻게 활용하고 너희가 너희 안의 사랑의 불씨에 대해 어떻게 처신하는 지로 운명을 정한다. 그러나 너희가 육신의 죽음 후에 영원한 생명에 들어갈 수 있기 위해 너희는 스스로 너희 안의 사랑의 불씨가 불타오르게 해야만 한다. 사랑에서 모든 일이 나온다. 즉 가장 밝은 깨달음이 나오고 이로써 생명력 있는 믿음이 나온다. 생명력 있는 믿음은 또한 피할 수 없게 구원을 받게 하고 나와 긴밀하게 연합을 이루게 한다. 그러나 사랑은 절대로 활동하지 않고 머물지 않고 사랑은 항상 영적인 일이든 세상적인 일이든 항상 행하는 일로 표현 될 것이다. 왜냐면 사랑은 끊임없이 역사하는 힘이기 때문이다.
