Earthly work and toil before the end....

Everything points to the end.... And no matter how hard you humans try to increase earthly prosperity, no matter how hard you work at building up earthly-material works, you only create for a short duration and nothing of what you created will last for long. For the time has come when an end is put to the earth with all its creations and all its inhabitants. And even if you humans want to dispute it again and again, even if your will and your thinking resist accepting it as truth.... You cannot destroy My plan, and as it has been determined since eternity, so everything will also come to pass. Nevertheless, I will not keep you humans from your work if only you do not allow this to become the purpose of your life but first think of your soul so that you do not make it suffer privations as a result of too eager material activity. For the day of the end is secret to you, you can still do much service for your fellow human beings; as soon as you ask for My blessing for this, every earthly activity can have a spiritual effect. Moreover, you can also help the still bound spiritual to be of service, and the more obvious the possibility of service becomes in the works you create, the more blessing will rest on it, because everything spiritual shall still mature before the end has come.... Yet in many cases people only use all their strength to increase mammon and make themselves its slaves, then they are obviously working for My adversary and on his behalf, then neither love nor the will to help fellow human beings is apparent, it is rather a case of taking advantage of fellow human beings and also often endangering their lives.... You humans should certainly not give yourselves over to idleness, you certainly should use your vitality and not let it lie idle, but you should always think of your actual purpose of life first, then nothing you undertake will become a danger for you.... But the end will come irrevocably.... Therefore, in everything you do, remember this serious admonition and warning of Mine, and do not chain yourselves too strongly to matter but seek to detach yourselves from it, even if you still have to work in the world.... Your innermost attitude will always be decisive as to whether you become master over matter or let yourselves be ruled by it. Considering the forthcoming end you should always give account to yourselves and practise strict self-criticism, you should not live as if everything will continue but always consider the imminent end.... but nevertheless be active. For if love determines your actions and thoughts, then all works which you make arise will be blessed by Me.... But where love is lacking, where purely earthly planning and activity takes place, My adversary's places will be erected, even if it is apparently intended to serve people's salvation.... Bear in mind that I can only bless what serves noble purposes and that I Myself am not deceived.... For only then can matter still mature, and the short period until the end can offer the spiritual substances contained in it an opportunity to take abode on the new earth in lighter external forms and to progress more quickly in their development. My plan has been fixed since eternity.... You, too, can plan, yet you should adapt to My will as far as possible and thus, as it were, still support everything spiritual and free yourselves from the desire for the world and its goods.... Then everything you undertake will be blessed, and the short period until the end will be used in My will....

종말의 때까지 이 땅의 일과 수고.

모든 일이 종말을 알려주고 있다. 너희 사람들이 아무리 열심히 이 땅의 안녕을 위해 노력하고 너희가 이 땅에서 물질적인 작품을 만들기 위해 아무리 열심히 일할지라도 너희는 단지 짧은 시간 동안을 위해 만들고 작품들 중 어떤 것도 오래 지속되지 못할 것이다. 왜냐면 이 땅과 이 땅의 모든 창조물들에게 종말의 때가 다가왔기 때문이다. 너희 사람들이 항상 또 다시 종말을 반박하기를 원하고 너희의 의지와 생각이 또한 종말을 진리로 받아들이기를 거부할지라도 너희는 내 계획을 수포로 돌아가게 할 수 없고 영원으로부터 정해진대로 모든 일이 일어날 것이다.

그럴지라도 너희가 단지 너희가 하는 일을 너희의 삶의 내용이 되게 하지 않고 먼저 너희의 혼을 생각하고 이로써 너희가 너무 열성적으로 물질을 위해 일한 결과로 혼이 굶주리지 않게 한다면, 나는 너희 사람들이 하는 일을 막지 않는다. 그러나 종말의 날은 너희에게 비밀이고 너희는 아직 이웃에게 많은 섬기는 일을 할 수 있다. 너희가 또한 너희의 세상 일을 위해 내 축복을 구하면, 모든 세상 일이 영적인 역사를 일으킨다. 게다가 너희는 또한 묶임을 받은 영적인 존재가 섬길 수 있도록 도울 수 있고 너희가 행하는 이 땅의 모든 활동 가운데 영적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 너희가 행하는 일에서 섬길 기회가 분명하게 드러날수록 그 일에 더 많은 축복이 임하게 된다. 왜냐면 종말이 오기 전에 모든 영적인 존재가 아직 성숙해야 하기 때문이다.

그러나 모든 사람들이 그들의 모든 힘을 단지 재물을 늘리기 위해 사용하고 자신을 노예로 만든다. 그러면 그들은 내 대적자의 사명을 받아 그를 위해 드러나게 활동하게 되고 그러면 이웃을 도우려는 사랑이나 의지가 나타나지 않고 오히려 이웃을 이용하고 또한 자주 이웃의 생명을 위험하게 만든다. 너희 사람들은 실제 게으름에 빠져서는 안 되고 너희의 생명의 힘을 사용해야 하고 유휴 상태로 놔두지 말아야 한다. 그러나 너희는 항상 먼저 실제적인 너희의 삶의 목적을 생각해야 한다. 그러면 너희가 어떤 일을 하든 너희에게 위험이 되지 않는다. 그러나 종말은 피할 수 없게 다가 온다. 그러므로 너희가 하는 모든 일 가운데 이런 내 진지한 훈계와 경고를 기억하고 너희를 과도하게 물질에 묶지 말고 비록 너희가 세상에서 아직 일해야만 할지라도 물질로부터 자유롭게 되려고 시도하라.

너희가 물질의 주인이 되거나 너희가 물질이 너희 자신을 지배하게 만드는 일은 항상 너희의 가장 깊은 내면의 성향이 결정적이 될 것이다. 가까운 종말을 생각하여 너희는 항상 또 다시 자신을 점검하고 엄격한 자기 비판을 실행해야 하고 너희는 모든 것이 계속 존재할 것처럼 살지 말고 임박한 종말을 항상 고려하라. 그러나 그럴지라도 일하라. 왜냐면 사랑이 너희의 행동과 생각을 정하고 그러면 너희가 이루는 모든 일이 내 축복을 받을 것이기 때문이다.

그러나 사랑이 없이 순전히 세상적인 계획을 하고 일하는 곳이 겉으로 보기에는 인간의 혼의 구원을 섬길지라도 내 대적자의 거처가 된 곳이다. 내가 단지 고귀한 목적을 섬기는 일을 축복할 수 있다는 것을 기억하고 내가 속지 않는다는 것을 기억하라. 왜냐면 그래야 물질이 아직 성숙할 수 있고 종말의 때까지 짧은 시간 내에 물질 안에 거하는 영적인 존재들이 새 땅에서 더 가벼운 겉형체 안에서 머물 수 있는 가능성을 제공할 수 있고 영적인 존재의 성장이 더 빨리 이뤄질 수 있는 가능성을 제공할 수 있기 때문이다.

내 계획은 영원으로부터 정해졌다. 너희도 또한 계획을 세울 수 있다. 그러나 너희는 가능한한 내 의지에 맞춰야 한다. 그러므로 아직 모든 영적인 존재를 지원하라. 너희 자신이 세상과 세상의 재물에 대한 욕망으로부터 벗어나게 하라. 그러면 너희가 시도하는 모든 일은 축복을 받을 것이고 너희는 종말까지 남은 짧은 시간을 내 뜻대로 활용하게 된다.
