Attaining childship to God.... Opportunities for maturation....

You cannot prolong your life by one hour when your time has come to pass away from this earth, nor can you arbitrarily return to earth again, you must accept it as a certainty that your earthly life is finally concluded with the hour of your death.... What follows will take place in a kingdom which is not of this world, even if your soul has to take abode again in creations of a lower kind.... if its state does not allow it to stay in spheres of light which no longer require any material creations. But you always dwell beyond this earth, only as long as you are earthbound, i.e., with great longing for this earth you feel repeatedly drawn back to the places of your former abode without being able to make contact with them. Thus your soul can gain through bodily death but it can also have to move to a more primitive abode than the earth was.... always according to the maturity it has achieved as a human being.... But it will never be transferred back to earth again unless there are very special occasions or preconditions which, however, must not be generalised. Earthly life now offers the soul so many opportunities that it can easily reach a degree of maturity which frees it from all oppression, all weakness and all darkness.... if only the human being makes use of these opportunities.... Then the soul truly emerges as an conqueror of death, death is only the last obstacle for it to a life in freedom, light, and strength. If it does not make use of these opportunities then a fetter will certainly fall, the earthly body will release the soul but it will nevertheless remain bound because it is destitute of light and strength and will now be transferred to where it has the opportunity to recognise its miserable state as well as to change this state, yet mostly under far more difficult circumstances than on earth. Then it has, as it were, gone backwards in its development, but through its own fault, in free will.... But there is always a path of ascent, for there are innumerable possibilities of maturing, and the whole of creation with its countless stars offers these opportunities. But the soul has forfeited an unheard-of opportunity, for on earth it was offered the only opportunity to attain the childship to God. You humans do not understand the full profundity of what this means, but the bliss of those who reach this goal is indescribable, and every person can reach the goal if he wants to.... But even the best will is of no use to the soul if it failed on earth and now still takes the path upwards elsewhere.... this goal is unattainable for it. Nevertheless, it can likewise be saved, rise ever higher, for divine Fatherly love constantly draws each of His living creations and does not rest until the goal, the spiritualisation of every being, has been reached.... This knowledge is presented to people but only a few believe and take the transformation of their being seriously.... only a few reach the goal in earthly life, and only a few can leave earth at their death and enter the kingdom of light as fully spiritualised. And yet all people have this possibility.... But they lack love, and without love there is no progress, without love there is no light, no realisation.... Without love they also lack the right direction of will and the strength to carry it out. But people must move on earth in complete freedom of will, and they can only ever be taught. And therefore, as long as earth exists, God's love will not slacken in teaching, admonishing, and warning them through His word.... He will do everything that can move people into the right direction of will, He will spare no grace, and time and again preach love, but He will never induce a person to do what he must do in all freedom of will.... The human being alone determines the fate of his soul after his death....

하나님의 자녀권에 도달하는 일. 성장할 기회.

너희가 이 땅에서 부름 받을 때가 되면, 너희의 생명을 한 시간이라도 연장할 수 없고 너희는 또한 맘대로 이 땅으로 돌아갈 수 없다. 너희는 너희의 이 땅의 삶이 너희의 죽음의 순간으로 최종적으로 끝난다는 사실을 확신을 가지고 영접해야만 한다. 비록 너희의 혼이 더 낮은 종류의 창조물 안에 다시 거해야만 할지라도 즉 너희의 상태가 물질적 창조물이 전혀 필요 없는 빛의 영역에 거하는 일을 허용 받지 못한다면, 죽음 후에 다가오는 일은 이 땅의 세상에 속하지 않는 나라에서 일어난다.

그러면 너희는 이 땅의 저편의 세상에 거하게 된다. 그러나 이 땅에 묶여 있게 된다. 다시 말해 이 땅을 향한 큰 갈망이 너희를 항상 또 다시 너희가 한때 거했던 곳들로 돌아오게 한다. 그러나 너희는 그런 곳들과 접촉할 수 없다. 그러므로 육체의 죽음 후에 너희 혼이 얻을 수 있지만 그러나 혼은 혼이 인간으로서 도달한 성숙함에 합당하게 이 땅에서 그랬던 것보다 더 원시적인 장소에서 거할 수 있게 돼야만 한다. 그러나 혼은 특별한 이유가 있거나 또는 일반화할 수 없는 조건을 갖추지 못한다면, 절대로 이 땅으로 돌아가지 못하게 될 것이다.

혼에게 이제 이 땅의 삶에서 아주 많은 기회가 제공되어 사람이 이런 기회를 단지 활용한다면, 혼이 모든 어려움과 모든 약점과 모든 어두움을 제거할 수 있는 성숙한 정도에 쉽게 도달할 수 있다. 그러면 혼은 진실로 죽음을 극복하게 되고 죽음은 단지 혼이 자유와 빛과 힘을 얻는데 마지막 장애물이 된다. 혼이 이런 모든 기회를 활용하지 않으면, 실제 이 땅의 육체가 주는 속박을 벗어나지만 그러나 아직 묶인 채로 머물게 된다. 왜냐면 혼에게 빛과 힘이 없고 혼은 이제 자신의 불쌍한 상태를 깨달을 수 있고 이런 상태를 변화시킬 수 있지만 그러나 대부분 이 땅에서 보다 훨씬 더 어려운 조건 아래 이런 상태를 변화시킬 수 있는 가능성이 있는 곳으로 옮겨지기 때문이다.

그러면 혼은 자신의 성장 과정에서 퇴보한 것이다. 그러나 자유의지로 자신의 잘못으로 퇴보한 것이다. 그러나 항상 높은 곳으로 향하는 길이 있고 성숙할 수 있는 무수히 많은 가능성이 있다. 셀 수 없이 많은 별들을 가진 창조물 전체가 성장할 가능성을 제공하기 때문이다. 그러나 혼은 전례 없는 기회를 낭비한 것이다. 왜냐면 이 땅이 혼에게 하나님의 자녀권을 얻을 수 있는 유일한 기회를 제공했기 때문이다.

너희 사람들은 이 말의 깊은 의미를 완전히 이해하지 못하지만 이런 목표에 도달한 사람들의 축복은 말할 수 없고 모든 사람이 원한다면, 모든 사람이 목표에 도달할 수 있다. 혼이 이 땅에서 실패하고 다른 곳에서 높은 곳으로 향하는 길을 택한다면, 그러나 최선의 의지에도 혼이 이런 목표에 도달할 수 없다. 그럴지라도 혼은 마찬가지로 축복에 도달할 수 있고 항상 계속 성장할 수 있다. 왜냐면 하나님 아버지의 사랑이 쉬지 않고 자신의 각각의 피조물을 끊임없이 이끌고 각각의 존재가 영화 되는 목표에 도달할 때까지 쉬지 않기 때문이다.

이런 지식이 사람들에게 제공 된다. 그러나 단지 소수의 사람들이 이런 지식을 믿고 그들의 성품의 변화를 진지하게 여긴다. 단지 소수의 사람들이 아직 이 땅의 삶의 목표에 도달하고 단지 소수의 사람들이 그들의 죽음 후에 이 땅을 떠나 완전히 영화가 되어 빛의 나라에 들어갈 수 있다. 그러나 모든 사람에게 그렇게 될 가능성이 있다. 그러나 그들에게 사랑이 부족하고 사랑이 없이는 성장이 없고 사랑이 없이는 빛도 없고 깨달음도 없다. 사랑이 없으면 의지의 올바른 방향이 없고 수행할 힘이 없게 된다.

그러나 사람들은 완전한 의지의 자유를 가지고 이 땅의 삶을 살아야만 하고 그들은 항상 단지 가르침을 받을 수 있다. 그러므로 이 땅이 존재하는 동안에는 하나님의 사랑이 자신의 말씀을 통해 그들을 가르치고 훈계하고 경고하는 일을 줄이지 않을 것이다. 그는 사람들의 의지를 올바른 방향으로 이끄는 모든 일을 행할 것이고 은혜가 부족하지 않게 할 것이고 항상 또 다시 사랑을 설교할 것이다. 그러나 그는 사람이 모든 자유의지로 해야만 하는 일을 행하도록 절대로 정해주지 않을 것이다. 사람이 유일하게 죽음 후에 그의 혼의 운명을 정한다.
