Love-light: knowledge of the truth....

You will never succeed in attaining the right realisation as long as you are still without love. For only the light of love within you makes you capable of right judgement, because then your thinking will be enlightened, because then you will be unable to think other than right and thus also immediately recognize what is wrong. And thus people who are willing to love will always live in truth and feel an inner resistance as soon as something wrong is presented to them. But it will also be a futile effort of love to try to convey the truth to a person who is completely without love. He will oppose it just as vehemently because his thinking is still under the influence of the one who is against the truth, who will constantly fight against the truth because it exposes him and his doings. Therefore truth cannot find entrance with an unkind humanity, on the contrary, error will be represented there, and no-one will try to free himself from error as long as he himself is of an unkind heart. As soon as a person practices love from within, as soon as his nature itself is love and radiates love, he will never profess error, for the love within him warns him against it.... He will first fall into doubt and always feel more resistance against a teaching which does not correspond to the truth.... And he will also muster the strength to openly take a stand for or against a teaching, because this strength fills him with love at the same time and because he is now driven from within by his spirit to advocate the truth and challenge the error. A love-filled person does not remain silent in the face of an open untruth, and he will also not seemingly acknowledge something that is obviously directed against the truth. But the fact that people remain silent, that so much error has found its way into people's lives without being rejected, is only proof that love has also grown cold among people, which is the surest defence against lies and error. And although again and again individual people recognize this, although they think correctly as a result of their life of love, the majority of people are nevertheless completely ignorant of the truth and feel comfortable with it.... And if love is preached to them they close their hearts and ears and it remains dark in them, precisely because without love there can be no light.... But truth is light.... love is light.... and anyone who wants to walk in the light must first shape himself into love, but then he will also realize that only one path leads back into the father's house, into the eternal home.... the path of love, because this is also the path of truth. But anyone who has taken this path will continue to walk it cheerfully, for him there is no hesitation and hesitancy, for him there are no doubts and discouragement, for the strength of love constantly drives him upwards and he takes all obstacles in his stride. Anyone who has found the truth has also found Me Myself, and I am and remain the aim for him towards which he strives.... But I can never be reached without love, the path never leads upwards via error, the truth can never be recognized by a person who is devoid of all love. But I always want to help you all to reach the ascent, and therefore you are constantly admonished to work with love, you are directly addressed by preachers, but I also seek the ice through adversity around you in order to melt your hearts.... For as long as love has grown cold amongst you humans you go through earthly life completely useless, you live it in vain, as it were, without achieving the slightest progress, because you lack the most important thing in earthly life.... the fire of love which enlightens your spirit, which warms your heart, which gives you strength to overcome all opposition.... But it is not yet too late to ignite the spark in you, and I help everyone who is willing to come to the right realization.... For My love does not give up on you, My love shines on you again and again, My love sends light bearers amongst you who admonish and warn you and lovingly offer you the light, for you will not be left without help, I will court you and your love until your death....

Het licht van de liefde: inzicht in de waarheid

Nooit zal het u lukken tot het ware inzicht te komen, zolang u nog zonder liefde bent. Want pas het licht van de liefde in u stelt u in staat juist te oordelen, omdat dan uw denken verlicht is, omdat u dan niet anders dan juist zult kunnen denken en bijgevolg ook dadelijk inziet wat verkeerd is. En zo zullen mensen die tot liefde bereid zijn, steeds in de waarheid verkeren en een innerlijke afweer voelen zodra hun iets verkeerds wordt voorgehouden. Maar evenzo zal het vergeefse moeite zijn uit liefde een mens de waarheid te willen doen toekomen die geheel zonder liefde is. Deze stelt er evenzo hevige afweer tegenover, omdat zijn denken nog onder invloed is van degene die tegen de waarheid is, die voortdurend tegen de waarheid zal strijden omdat deze hem en zijn doen en laten ontmaskert. Daarom kan de waarheid geen veld winnen bij een liefdeloze mensheid. Integendeel, daar wordt de dwaling verkondigd en niemand zal proberen zich van de dwaling los te maken zolang hij zelf een liefdeloos hart heeft.

Zodra een mens van binnen uit de liefde beoefent, zodra zijn wezen zelf liefde is en liefde uitstraalt, zal hij nooit voor de dwaling opkomen, want de liefde in hem waarschuwt hem daarvoor. Hij zal aanvankelijk gaan twijfelen en steeds meer afweer voelen tegen een leer die niet overeenstemt met de waarheid. En hij zal ook de kracht opbrengen openlijk stelling te nemen voor of tegen een leer, omdat deze kracht, tegelijk met de liefde, hem vervult en omdat hij nu innerlijk wordt aangespoord door zijn geest, de waarheid te vertegenwoordigen en de dwaling aan te vechten. Een mens die vervuld is van liefde, zwijgt niet tegenover een openlijke onwaarheid. En hij zal ook niet voor de schijn iets erkennen wat duidelijk tegen de waarheid is gericht. Maar dat er wordt stilgezwegen dat zoveel dwaling onder de mensen veld won zonder op afweer te zijn gestuit, is alleen maar een bewijs dat ook de liefde onder de mensen is bekoeld, die de zekerste verdediging is tegen leugen en dwaling. En ofschoon steeds weer enkele mensen dit inzien, ofschoon dezen juist denken als gevolg van hun leven in liefde, zo is toch het merendeel van de mensen volledig onwetend aangaande de waarheid, en ze voelen zich daar goed bij. En wordt dezen de liefde gepredikt, dan sluiten ze hun hart en oren en blijft het duister in hen, juist omdat er zonder liefde geen licht kan zijn.

Maar de waarheid is licht. De liefde is licht. En wie in het licht wil wandelen, moet zich tevoren tot liefde vormen. Maar dan zal hij ook inzien dat er maar één weg terugvoert naar het vaderhuis, naar het eeuwige vaderland: de weg van de liefde, omdat deze ook de weg van de waarheid is. Maar wie deze weg heeft betreden, die gaat hem vrolijk verder. Voor hem bestaat er geen aarzelen en dralen. Voor hem bestaat er geen twijfel en moedeloosheid, want de kracht van de liefde drijft hem voortdurend omhoog en hij neemt alle hindernissen met gemak. Wie de waarheid heeft gevonden, heeft ook Mij zelf gevonden. En Ik ben en blijf voor hem het doel waar hij op aanstuurt. Maar nooit ben Ik te bereiken zonder liefde. Nooit voert de weg omhoog via dwaling. Nooit is de waarheid in te zien door een mens die zonder enige liefde is.

Maar Ik wil u allen te allen tijde daartoe helpen, dat u de hoogte zult bereiken. En daarom wordt u voortdurend aangemaand om in liefde werkzaam te zijn. U zult rechtstreeks worden toegesproken door predikers, maar ook door nood rondom u tracht Ik het ijs om uw hart te laten smelten. Want zolang de liefde onder u mensen is bekoeld, gaat u geheel nutteloos door het aardse bestaan. U leeft als het ware tevergeefs, zonder de geringste vooruitgang te boeken, omdat het voornaamste u ontbreekt in het leven op aarde: het liefdesvuur dat uw geest verlicht, uw hart verwarmt, dat u kracht geeft om alle weerstanden te overwinnen. Maar nog is het niet te laat om het vonkje in u te ontsteken. En Ik help ieder die voornemens is tot het juiste inzicht te komen. Want mijn liefde geeft u niet op. Mijn liefde straalt u steeds weer toe. Mijn liefde zendt dragers van het licht onder u die u aanmanen en waarschuwen en u liefdevol het licht aanbieden. Want u wordt niet zonder hulp gelaten, tot aan uw dood zal Ik trachten u en uw liefde winnen.
