Informing people (earth task)....

It is your task to make the significance of earthly life clear to your fellow human beings if you want to be of service to Me, for very few are informed of the fact that they live on earth for the sake of a purpose. They look for the purpose of life in earthly life itself, they conscientiously endeavour to meet all the demands of life as far as they serve the body.... But they don't know that it is the soul which has been given an aim on earth which the human being should achieve, and that earthly life was given to him for this purpose. And as long as people don't receive full enlightenment about their actual purpose of existence they live thoughtlessly and unscrupulously into the day.... Admittedly, only a few will listen to a knower's ideas, only a few will believe what you tell them, and yet they must be informed of it, because only then can they be called to account when they have received a certain knowledge about it. People's thinking has to be directed from the earthly into the spiritual kingdom in order to then be able to decide in which kingdom they now want to permanently dwell. Through education most people are already mentally pointed to this, so that there is hardly a person who has not already taken notice of a world existing outside of earth.... But as long as this knowledge has not become an inner conviction it is of no use to the human being.... And thus you, My servants on earth, should try to convey this inner conviction to your fellow human beings. It is arduous work which requires patience and perseverance and often enough is also unsuccessful, yet it has to be done if people are to be helped.... It is a work which has to be tackled again and again if it was unsuccessful at first.... And I Myself support you through external influences, through strokes of fate, through events which cause you to think. For only when the human being thinks can the first success be recorded. People strive for matter with all their senses.... They must learn to recognize matter as worthless in order to overcome it.... I Myself must repeatedly present or prove to them the transience of matter, and you must build on this and present to them the goods which are imperishable and have lasting value.... and thus draw their attention to their actual purpose of earthly life: to the overcoming of matter and the acquisition of spiritual treasures during their existence. The more a human being is chained to the material world and its goods, the less he will accept your teachings, but for every human being the time comes when he is deprived of what he believes to possess.... Every human being experiences death around him and is thereby prompted to think of his own death. And death is so certain for every human being that thoughts of it will also arise in him one day.... And then it is good if he remembers your instructions which are guaranteed to come to his mind through the influence of the world of light, which is why none of your efforts will be entirely unsuccessful, only sometimes delayed to the own detriment.... You should not let yourselves be discouraged by rejections, you should insistently point out the coming end, but also the end of life which is certain for every human being once.... But you should also preach to them the survival of the soul, the immortality of that which, as soul, gives the human being his I-consciousness.... This soul cannot pass away, this soul has received earthly life for the purpose of maturing, and after the death of the body this soul takes upon itself the fate it acquired in earthly life.... Again and again you should remind people of death and the state of the soul after death.... Again and again you should distract them from earthly thoughts and try to open up the spiritual kingdom for them, again and again you should inform them of their earthly task.... And I Myself will always support you as far as it is possible without coercion of will. Every person knows about it, yet only a few believe in the truth of what is repeatedly held up to them.... And therefore your vineyard work is so urgently needed, because all people who are of good will shall still be helped....

사람들이 이 땅의 과제를 깨닫게 하는 일.

너희가 나를 섬기려면, 이 땅에서 사는 삶의 의미를 사람들에게 분명하게 알려주는 일이 너희의 과제이다. 왜냐면 바로 이 한가지 목적 때문에 사람이 이 땅에 사는 것에 관해 단지 아주 적은 수의 사람들이 알고 있기 때문이다. 그들은 이 땅의 삶 자체에서 삶의 목적을 찾는다. 그들은 요구가 육체를 위한 것이라면, 이 땅의 모든 요구를 충족시키기 위해 양심적으로 노력한다. 그들은 사람이 이 땅에서 도달해야 할 정해진 목표가 혼이 도달해야 하는 목표라는 것을 모르고 이 목표를 위해 그에게 이 땅의 삶이 주어졌다는 것을 모른다.

사람들이 그들의 본질적인 존재 목적에 대한 모든 설명을 받지 못하는 동안에는 그들은 매일 매일 생각 없이 양심이 없이 산다. 그러나 단지 적은 수의 사람들이 아는 사람에게 귀를 기울일 것이고 단지 적은 수의 사람들이 그들에게 말하는 것을 믿을 것이다. 그럴지라도 그들에게 이에 관해 알려 줘야만 한다. 그가 이에 관한 특정한 지식을 얻을 때, 비로소 그에게 책임을 물을 수 있기 때문이다.

사람들의 생각이 세상적인 나라에서 영적인 나라로 인도받아야만 한다. 그러면 그들이 이제 어떤 나라에서 지속적으로 머물지 결정할 수 있다. 대부분의 사람들이 교육을 통해 이에 관해 생각으로 암시를 받았다. 그래서 이 땅의 밖의 세상에 대해서 알고 있지 못하는 사람은 거의 없다. 그러나 이런 지식이 내적인 확신이 되지 않는다면, 사람에게 전혀 도움이 되지 않는다.

이 땅의 내 종들은 이런 내적인 확신을 사람들에게 전해주려고 해야 한다. 이 일은 힘이 드는 일이고 인내와 끈기가 필요하고 종종 아무 성공도 얻지 못한다. 그럴지라도 너희는 사람들을 도와야 한다면, 이 일을 해야만 한다. 이 일이 처음에는 별로 성공이 없을지라도 항상 또 다시 이 일을 수행해야만 한다. 나 자신이 운명적인 사건을 통해 생각하게 만드는 일을 통해 너희를 도울 것이다. 왜냐면 만약에 그가 생각을 하게 되면, 비로소 첫 번째 성공이라고 할 수 있기 때문이다.

사람들은 모든 감각으로 물질을 추구한다. 그들은 물질을 극복하기 위해 물질을 가치 없는 것으로 깨닫는 법을 배워야만 한다. 나 자신이 그들에게 물질의 허무함을 항상 또 다시 기억하게 하고 증명해야만 하고 너희는 이를 기초해서 그들에게 쇠하지 않는 지속적으로 가치가 있는 보물을 상기시켜야만 한다. 다시 말해 그들의 이 땅의 삶의 목적인 물질을 극복하는 일과 그들의 이 땅에서 존재하는 동안 영적인 보물을 획득하는 일에 대해 주의를 기울이게 해야만 한다.

사람이 물질적인 세상과 세상의 재물에 묶여 있을수록 그는 더욱 너희의 가르침을 영접하지 않을 것이다. 그러나 모든 사람에게 자기가 소유하고 있다고 믿는 것들을 빼앗기는 시간이 온다. 모든 사람이 자기 주변에서 죽음을 체험하고 이를 통해 자신의 죽음에 대해 생각하게 된다. 죽음은 모든 사람에게 확실한 일이어서 한번 정도는 그의 생각에 죽음이 떠오른다. 이때 그들이 빛의 세계의 역사를 통해 기억에서 확실하게 떠오르게 될 너희 가르침을 생각한다면, 좋은 일이다. 그러므로 너희의 수고는 전적으로 아무 성공이 없는 것이 아니다. 그러나 이런 기억이 그에게 늦게 오면 그 자신에게 손해가 된다.

너희는 거절당하는 일로 인해 용기를 잃어서는 안 된다. 너희는 다가오는 종말에 대해서 설득력 있게 설명해줘야 할 뿐만 아니라, 마찬가지로 모든 사람에게 언젠가 확실하게 다가오는 죽음에 대해 알려줘야 한다. 그러나 너희는 그들에게 또한 사람에게 자기를 의식하게 하는 혼이 불멸하고 혼이 지속적으로 산다는 것을 가르쳐야 한다. 혼은 쇠하여 사라질 수 없다. 혼이 너희의 성장을 위한 이 땅의 생명을 유지한다. 혼은 육신의 죽음 후에 너희가 이 땅에서 취득한 운명을 받게 된다.

너희는 항상 또 다시 사람들에게 죽음을 상기시켜야 하고 죽은 후에 혼의 상태에 대해 상기시켜야 한다. 너희는 항상 또 다시 그들의 생각이 세상을 벗어나게 하고 그들에게 영의 나라를 알려주려고 해야 한다. 너희는 항상 또 다시 그들에게 이 땅의 삶의 과제를 깨닫게 해줘야 한다. 나 자신이 항상 의지에 강요하지 않고 가능한 한도 내에서 너희들 도울 것이다. 모든 사람이 알고 있지만 단지 작은 수의 사람들이 자신들에게 전해지는 진리를 믿는다. 그러므로 너희의 포도원 농부 일이 아주 긴급하게 필요하다. 왜냐면 선한 의지를 가진 모든 사람이 아직 도움을 받아야 하기 때문이다.
