Desire of a mature soul for God....

The soul longs to return to God as soon as it has become light within itself and has recognized its exit.... Then it pushes towards its exit again, for love is within it which seeks to merge with eternal love. And then its stay on earth will only be a burden and only the body will still cling to the earth because it still contains unredeemed spiritual substances which need the form to mature, because the matter the body is made of is not yet spiritually mature, thus the earth is still the element where this spiritual substance resides. But the soul is different if it has recognized the right purpose in earthly life and lives in accordance with this purpose.... if it has thus attained spiritual maturity through its way of life.... This soul feels that everything only means a shackle for it which makes its ascent into the kingdom of light impossible. Therefore it would like to be released from this fetter and take its path to where light and strength flow to it..... It longs for the original source of light and strength. And thus a soul will willingly and without struggle detach itself from its physical shell, it will still give it the opportunity until the end to purify the spiritual substances so that these, too, can approach their spiritualization more quickly.... even though the path of development of these substances still requires a longer stay in matter, but it can be significantly shortened as soon as the body allowed itself to be guided and determined in earthly life by the soul whose desire was directed towards God. And a longing soul's desire is satisfied.... God calls it to Himself into His kingdom where it now recognizes that it has returned home to its father's house.... This is why a person's departure from this earth only ever signifies bliss if he strived for God's kingdom on earth, if his soul turned towards God when it walked the earth, if it belonged to those who believed in God's love, which embodied itself in the man Jesus to help people return to the father's house.... It fulfilled its life's purpose, it passed the test of will.... Its will turned completely towards God, Who now fulfilled its longing and called it back into His kingdom, to Him from Whom it once originated. And you humans should rejoice in the certainty that this soul has reached its aim and only ever strive to go the same way.... All your thoughts and aspirations should only be directed towards achieving the same unification with your father of eternity, for the hour of departure from this world lies ahead of you all, and the more your soul longs for this hour the sooner it will be called away, because the father will satisfy His child's longing if it applies to Him. But anyone who loves the world does not yet long for God and if he is nevertheless called away from this earth, then the body, which does not want to lose its life, will resist and a fierce battle will precede the departure.... A purified soul, however, also helps the body, which was given to it to mature, to purify itself until the end, and many spiritual substances can join the soul when it escapes its shell in order to enter the kingdom where it is now free from every bondage and will live in bliss....

Het verlangen van een rijpe ziel naar God

De ziel verlangt naar God terug zodra het in haar helder is geworden en ze haar herkomst heeft beseft. Dan haast ze zich weer naar haar oorsprong, want in haar is liefde die tracht met de eeuwige Liefde te versmelten. En dan is het verblijf op de aarde voor haar alleen nog een last en alleen het lichaam zit nog vast aan de aarde, omdat in het lichaam nog niet verlost geestelijks is dat de vorm nodig heeft om rijp te worden, omdat de materie waaruit het lichaam bestaat nog geen geestelijke rijpheid heeft, dus de aarde nog het element is waar dit geestelijke zich ophoudt. Maar anders is het bij de ziel, als ze in het aardse bestaan het juiste doel heeft ingezien en beantwoordend aan dit doel leeft, wanneer ze dus geestelijk rijp werd door haar levenswandel. Deze ziel voelt het, dat alles slechts een keten voor haar betekent die haar de opgang naar het rijk van het licht onmogelijk maakt. Daarom wil ze graag van deze keten vrij worden en haar weg daarheen gaan vanwaar haar licht en kracht toestroomt. Ze verlangt naar de Oerbron van licht en kracht.

En zo zal een ziel zich bereidwillig en zonder strijd losmaken van haar lichamelijk omhulsel. Ze zal het nog tot het einde de gelegenheid geven de geestelijke substanties te louteren, zodat ook deze hun vergeestelijking sneller tegemoet kunnen gaan, ofschoon de weg van de ontwikkeling van deze substanties nog een langer verblijf in de materie vereist, maar het kan aanzienlijk verkort worden zodra het lichaam zich in het leven op aarde zou laten leiden en overhalen door de ziel, wier verlangen op God was gericht. En van een hunkerende ziel wordt het verlangen gestild. God roept haar tot zich in Zijn rijk, waar ze nu beseft dat ze is teruggekeerd in haar vaderhuis.

Daarom betekent het verscheiden van een mens van deze aarde steeds alleen maar gelukzaligheid, wanneer hij op aarde streefde naar het rijk van God, wanneer zijn ziel op God gericht haar gang over de aarde aflegt, wanneer ze dus tot diegenen behoorde die geloofden in Gods liefde die zich in de mens Jezus belichaamde om de mensen te helpen terug te keren in het vaderhuis. Ze heeft het doel van haar leven vervuld. Ze heeft de wilsproef doorstaan. Haar wil keerde zich geheel en al naar God toe Die nu haar diep verlangen vervulde en haar tot Zich terugriep in Zijn rijk, van Wie ze eens was weggegaan. En u mensen dient u te verheugen in de zekerheid dat deze ziel haar doel heeft bereikt en u zult er steeds alleen maar naar moeten streven dezelfde weg te gaan.

Al uw denken en streven moet alleen daarop gericht zijn, eveneens de vereniging met uw Vader van eeuwigheid te bereiken. Want voor u allen ligt het uur van het verscheiden van deze wereld in het verschiet en hoe inniger uw ziel naar dit uur verlangt, des te eerder zal ze worden weggeroepen, omdat de Vader het vurige verlangen van Zijn kind stilt als het Hem geldt. Wie de wereld liefheeft, diens verlangen is echter nog niet op God gericht. En wordt hij desondanks weggeroepen van deze aarde, dan verzet het lichaam zich, dat zijn leven niet wil verliezen en een heftige strijd gaat aan het verscheiden vooraf. Maar een gelouterde ziel helpt ook tot het laatst het lichaam om zich te louteren, dat aan haar zelf werd toegevoegd om geheel rijp te worden. En er kunnen zich veel geestelijke substanties bij de ziel aansluiten wanneer ze haar omhulsel ontvlucht om binnen te gaan in het rijk waar ze nu vrij is van elke keten en leven zal in gelukzaligheid.
