In the Father’s house are many mansions....

In the Father’s house are many mansions.... The mansions I have prepared for all souls correspond to their maturity at the time of their earthly departure. Accordingly they are very different and are abodes for the souls for as long as they are content with them, although they can be changed, which is the soul’s own responsibility. The soul’s surrounding in the spiritual kingdom depends on its character at the time of its physical death.... radiant, bright, offering the spiritual eye a magnificent vision of breathtaking harmony which fills it with happiness beyond description.... or bleak and cold, squalid and disturbing, turbulent, dreary and depressing, causing the soul unhappiness and wishing it to leave this environment. And yet it can only be offered what it had acquired for itself on earth, it cannot be moved into blissful realms to which it had never aspired nor can it be given light because this would consume the soul due to its immature state. Nevertheless, every soul has the option whether it wants to improve its environment.

And to awaken this wish is the work of innumerable spiritual beings of light which descend into poorly lit mansions to inspire their inhabitants to improve their fate and their surroundings. Yet even this has to happen such that it does not force the soul’s will but results in its own desire. Hence they do not perceive the beings of light as such, instead the beings of light join them by using the same cover as the souls and request to be admitted, then they seek to guide the souls’ thoughts to change their present situation.... The souls’ will has to be motivated to improve their fate; and as soon as the will is motivated the soul suddenly finds itself amongst needy souls who request its help, and now it depends on whether it listens to their appeals, whether it is willing and attempts to help them....

The stronger its impulse to help the more alive it will feel and darkness gives way to a faint twilight which gladdens the soul immensely and increases its will to love. Imperceptibly its environment assumes another shape as the twilight shines through until everything appears clearly to the soul’s eyes and its state seems to have improved considerably.... Yet it is always up to the soul’s will whether it continues to be helpful or whether it contents itself with its present situation.... which, however, worsens again if it stops making an effort.

Every soul will find what it wants; and if it longs for light, for love and supreme happiness it will certainly achieve its goal and arrive in extremely charming regions where everything is enlightened and where it can settle for as long as it wishes.... Because it also gives what it requests for itself, and this love changes the soul’s nature, the love which it receives from the beings of light if it is not entirely obstinate and refuses to ascend from the poorly lit depth and resists all assistance and indignantly rejects every suggestion. Then it also has what it wants.... darkness, which will become incessantly more agonising in order to motivate the souls to change their will.

And for that reason I spoke the Words: ‘In My Father’s house are many mansions....’ Although the condition of every soul is taken into account no soul is forced to remain where it is sent after its physical death.... it will be admitted wherever its will takes it.... it is able to arrange its own surroundings according to its will and thus it can elevate itself from the lowest realms into radiant heights.... providing it takes notice of those whom it encounters as messengers from above, although not recognised by the soul as long as it is without light itself but so touched by their will to love that its own love gets kindled and therefore the path upwards becomes clear.... Eternal love Itself descends into the abyss to elevate what will not resist.... I also redeem the souls from the darkness and countless beings of light take part in this work.... They all help to build those mansions to improve the fate of the souls; they all radiate light and love and entice countless souls from the darkness into their region.... where there is light and strength and bliss....

Nella Casa del Padre Mio ci sono molte dimore, Ho preparato le abitazioni per tutte le anime, che corrispondono alla loro maturità al decesso dalla Terra. E perciò sono molto differenti e sono la dimora per quelle anime, finché se ne accontentano, mentre possono però anche venir scambiate, cosa che spetta all’anima stessa. Com’è costituita l’anima al momento della morte del suo corpo, così è anche l’ambiente, che la circonda ora nel Regno spirituale, raggiante, luminoso, offrendo all’occhio spirituale in magnifica armonia del meraviglioso, in modo che l’anima è colmata di indescrivibile felicità beata, oppure anche oscuro e freddo, misero e pauroso, tempestoso, deserto ed opprimente, in modo che l’anima si sente infelice e desidera uscire da quest’ambiente. Malgrado ciò, le può essere offerto solamente quello che si è conquistata sulla Terra, non può essere trasferita in sfere felicemente beate, a cui non ha mai teso, e non le può nemmeno essere donata nessuna Luce, perché questa la consumerebbe nel suo stato immaturo. Ma ogni anima rimane lasciata libera se vuole migliorare il suo soggiorno. E risvegliare questo desiderio è il lavoro di innumerevoli esseri spirituali, che stanno nella Luce e che discendono nelle dimore buie, per stimolare i loro abitanti a migliorare la loro sorte ed il loro soggiorno. Ma anche questo deve avvenire in un modo, che non determini la volontà delle anime, ma che conduca al proprio desiderare. Perciò gli esseri di Luce non sono loro riconoscibili come tali, ma si associano a loro nello stesso involucro, chiedendo loro l’accoglienza e cercano poi di guidare i pensieri delle anime su un cambiamento della loro attuale situazione. Dev’essere stimolata la volontà delle anime, a migliorare loro stesse la loro sorte; e se ora si muove la volontà, l’anima si trova all’improvviso fra anime sofferenteti la miseria, che le chiedono aiuto ed ora si decide, se dà ascolto a queste richieste, se è volonterosa e cerca di aiutarle. Più in lei è forte la spinta per prestare l’aiuto, più forte si sentirà e l’oscurità farà posto ad una Luce crepuscolare, che rende l’anima infinitamente felice ed aumenta la sua volontà d’amare. Il suo ambiente assumerà impercettibilmente un’altra forma, perché vi penetra la Luce crepuscolare, finché tutto sta in chiaro davanti agli occhi dell’anima ed il suo stato appare notevolmente migliorato. Ma è sempre soltanto lasciato alla volontà dell’anima, se continua ad attivarsi aiutando oppure se si accontenta con l’attuale situazione, che però poi peggiora di nuovo, quando cessa a tendere verso qualcosa di meglio. Ogni anima troverà ciò che desidera; se desidera la Luce, l’amore e la beatitudine, allora raggiungerà anche certamente la sua meta ed arriverà in regioni oltremodo amabili, dove tutto è irradiato e dove può prendere dimora fin quando le piace, perché darà anche ugualmente ciò che lei desidera, e l’amore cambierà il suo essere, l’amore che viene donato a lei stessa dagli esseri di Luce, se non è totalmente ribelle, $$non$$ $$volendo$$ sollevarsi dall’abisso senza Luce, in modo che si difende contro ogni prestazione d’aiuto e respinge indignata ogni presentazione. Allora ha pure ciò che desidera, l’oscurità che avrà un effetto sempre più tormentoso, per muovere anche tali anime ancora al cambiamento della loro volontà. Perciò ho pronunciato le Parole: “Nella Casa del Padre Mio ci sono molte dimore.... ”, perché viene tenuto conto dello stato di ogni anima, ma nessun’anima viene costretta a rimanere là dove viene indirizzata dopo la morte del suo corpo, troverà sempre accoglienza là, dove la conduce la sua volontà, lei stessa potrà formarsi la sua dimora secondo la sua volontà e così potrà salire dalle più profonde sfere verso le Alture luminose, se bada sempre soltanto a coloro che le vengono incontro come messaggeri dall’Alto, anche se da lei sconosciuti, finché lei stessa è ancora senza Luce, ma toccata dalla loro volontà d’amore in modo che lei stessa accende in sé l’amore e così è anche libera la via verso l’Alto. L’eterno Amore Stesso discende nell’abisso, per attirare in Alto coloro che si ribellano. Redimo anche le anime dall’oscurità, ed innumerevoli esseri della Luce partecipano a questo lavoro. Tutti loro edificano le dimore, per migliorare la sorte delle anime; tutti loro irradiano Luce ed amore ed attirano con ciò innumerevoli anime dall’oscurità nel loro reame, dov’è Luce, Forza e Beatitudine.
