"No one comes to the father except through Me...."

No one comes to the father except through Me.... These words alone should make people realize the importance of acknowledging Jesus as the son of God and redeemer of the world, and yet they have completely lost their impact, for humanity does not respect them, otherwise it would not so thoughtlessly reject Him Who calls Himself the bridge to the father.... The words of scripture are for most people only letters without spirit and life.... They speak them without being aware of their meaning, they completely disregard the lord's words and therefore do not find their way to the father either, because they do not believe in Him with the conviction which would result in heeding the divine word. No one comes to the father except through Me.... Yet people lack the will to reach the father, which is why they do not seek the path to Him either.... which is also why the divine redeemer Jesus Christ is of no significance to them. This attitude leads to downfall, to spiritual death.... Since they do not reach the father, they remain in the power of the one who is God's adversary, they remain in the depths because they do not desire to ascend. It is an exceedingly regrettable state that people do not show any striving upwards, that they do not think about their earthly task and that they are also indifferent to Christ's teaching, the gospel, that they do not accept any of His words as important and think about them.... that they cannot attain realization because they do not seek enlightenment, because they are completely indifferent to what God wants to convey to them through the scriptures and what the man Jesus, as God's spokesman, preached to people.... And no-one thinks of the fact that he only stays on earth in order to bring about the return to the father, and that he is constantly offered the opportunity to do so, which he rejects in his rigid mind because he does not believe. The distance between the human being and the father is great, yet one offers Himself for guidance, for mediation.... One has built the bridge which makes the path to the father passable, and this one offers His help to all people.... But He is not listened to, He is not heeded, if He wants to remind people of Himself.... Blind and deaf they pass Him by, although He calls out to them: "No one comes to the father except through Me...." He says of Himself: "I am the way, the truth and the life...." Therefore, anyone who seeks truth and life must take the path via Jesus Christ, he must make use of His mediation, he must request strength from Him to be able to cover the earthly path with the success which is the purpose of life: to find union with the father which only ensures a life of bliss, a life which lasts forever. People do not know what fate they are facing through their indifference and unbelief, they do not know what they are forfeiting by not respecting the divine word, by not taking refuge in the one Who alone can save them from ruin.... They don't know and don't believe the words of those who know and want to help them. And even if the word sounds from above, they do not accept it, for they listen to another voice, to the voice of the world with which God's adversary addresses them and to which they willingly open their ears.... They seek not life but death.... they reject the one Who promises them life, and therefore they will remain in sin and death, because without Jesus Christ there is no redemption and no return to the father's house....

"Keiner kommt zum Vater denn durch Mich...."

Keiner kommt zum Vater denn durch Mich.... Diese Worte allein schon sollten die Menschen die Bedeutsamkeit des Anerkennens Jesu als Gottes Sohn und Erlöser der Welt erkennen lassen, und doch haben sie völlig an Eindruck verloren, denn die Menschheit achtet ihrer nicht, ansonsten sie nicht so gedankenlos Ihn ablehnen würde, Der Sich Selbst als Brücke zum Vater bezeichnet.... Die Worte der Schrift sind für die meisten Menschen nur noch Buchstaben ohne Geist und Leben.... Sie sprechen sie dahin, ohne sich ihrer Bedeutung bewußt zu sein, sie lassen die Worte des Herrn gänzlich unbeachtet und finden daher auch nicht zum Vater, weil sie auch nicht an Ihn mit der Überzeugung glauben, die ein Beachten des göttlichen Wortes zur Folge hätte. Keiner kommt zum Vater denn durch Mich.... Doch den Menschen fehlt der Wille, zum Vater zu gelangen, weshalb sie auch den Weg zu Ihm nicht suchen.... weshalb ihnen auch der göttliche Erlöser Jesus Christus ohne jegliche Bedeutung ist. Diese Einstellung führt zum Untergang, zum geistigen Tode.... Da sie nicht zum Vater gelangen, bleiben sie in der Gewalt dessen, der Gottes Gegner ist, sie bleiben in der Tiefe, weil sie nicht zur Höhe verlangen. Es ist ein überaus bedauerlicher Zustand, daß die Menschen keinerlei Streben nach oben erkennen lassen, daß sie nicht nachdenken über ihre Erdenaufgabe und daß ihnen auch die Lehre Christi, das Evangelium, gleichgültig ist, daß sie keines Seiner Worte als wichtig annehmen und darüber nachdenken.... daß sie nicht zur Erkenntnis gelangen können, weil sie keine Aufklärung suchen, weil es ihnen völlig gleichgültig ist, was Gott ihnen durch die Schrift vermitteln möchte und was der Mensch Jesus als Sprecher Gottes den Menschen gepredigt hat.... Und keiner denkt daran, daß er nur deshalb auf Erden weilt, um die Rückkehr zum Vater zu bewerkstelligen, und daß ihm dazu ständig Gelegenheit geboten wird, die er in seinem starren Sinn zurückweiset, weil er nicht glaubt. Der Abstand von dem Menschen zum Vater ist groß, jedoch Einer erbietet Sich zur Führung, zur Vermittlung.... Einer hat die Brücke hergestellt, die den Weg zum Vater gangbar macht, und dieser Eine bietet allen Menschen Seine Hilfe an.... Doch Er wird nicht angehört, Er wird nicht beachtet, so Er Sich den Menschen in Erinnerung bringen will.... Blind und taub gehen sie an Ihm vorüber, wenngleich Er ihnen zuruft: "Keiner kommt zum Vater denn durch Mich...." Er Selbst sagt von Sich: "Ich bin der Weg, die Wahrheit und das Leben...." Wer also die Wahrheit und das Leben suchet, der muß den Weg nehmen über Jesus Christus, er muß sich Seiner Vermittlung bedienen, er muß sich von Ihm Kraft erbitten, den Erdenweg zurücklegen zu können mit dem Erfolg, der Zweck des Lebens ist: die Vereinigung mit dem Vater zu finden, die erst ein Leben in Seligkeit sichert, ein Leben, das ewig währet. Die Menschen wissen nicht, welchem Los sie entgegengehen durch ihre Gleichgültigkeit und ihren Unglauben, sie wissen nicht, was sie sich verscherzen dadurch, daß sie das göttliche Wort nicht achten, daß sie nicht zu Dem ihre Zuflucht nehmen, Der allein sie retten kann vor dem Untergang.... sie wissen es nicht und glauben nicht den Worten derer, die darum wissen und ihnen helfen möchten. Und ob auch von oben das Wort ertönet, sie nehmen es nicht an, denn sie hören auf eine andere Stimme, auf die Stimme der Welt, mit der Gottes Gegner sie anspricht und der sie willig ihre Ohren öffnen.... Sie suchen nicht das Leben, sondern den Tod.... sie lehnen Den ab, Der ihnen das Leben verheißet, und sie werden darum verharren in Sünde und Tod, weil es ohne Jesus Christus keine Erlösung gibt und keine Heimkehr ins Vaterhaus....
