"What you do to the least of My brothers...."

Whatever you do to the least of My brothers, you have done to Me. Every day and every hour you are given the opportunity to do good, to say a kind word, to helpfully assist your neighbour with advice and deeds and thus to alleviate his hardship, which need not only consist of earthly needs but also requires spiritual help through comforting encouragement or guidance on the right path which leads out of spiritual and also earthly hardship. You should only not harden your heart and turn away your eyes when you see hardship; you should not become indifferent and believe that you have done enough once you have given help.... You should always and constantly practice love, then you will know within yourselves the blissful feeling of a giver who is blessed by Me.... who receives from Me again in the same measure as he gives out, and truly, gifts which make him far more happy than the earthly possessions he renounces.... For you give to Me as you distribute to your neighbour, you give Me the love which your neighbour receives from you. You can only prove your love for Me by showing love to your neighbour. You cannot measure the great wealth you accumulate through unselfish love, yet one day you will be happy to recognize the truth of My word and admit that it was truly not difficult to acquire spiritual treasures on earth.... And I want to create this happiness for you and therefore constantly admonish you to work with love.... As soon as you always remember that I Myself come before you as a supplicant when a needy person asks you for a gift, as soon as you remember that I know about every gift which is offered with love and look at you with blessing eyes in return, then your love for your neighbour will grow, because love always awakens reciprocated love and carries strength and blessings within itself. Whatever you do to the least of My brothers you have done to Me.... You are all My children, and if the children love each other they give the father the greatest happiness, because only love can cause true bliss and because love leads you all to perfection, which can never be achieved without love. Be grateful as long as you have the opportunity to help and advise, for you still possess the strength of life to do so but you will lack it if one day you recognize your neglect and want to make up for it.... Use your time on earth to work with love so that you will enter the kingdom of the beyond with strength and be able to work there with the treasures you have acquired through loving activity, so that you will not be weak and helpless and bitterly regret what you neglected to do on earth....

너희가 여기 내 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 한 것이 곧 내게 한 것이니라 하시고 (마태 25장 40절)

너희가 여기 내 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 행한 일이 곧 나에게 행한 일이다. 날마다 매시간마다 너희에게 선한 일을 행할 기회가 주어지고 친절한 말을 할 수 있는 기회가 주어지고 단지 세상의 필요를 채우기 위한 것뿐만 아니라 위로하는 격려와 또는 영적인 위험과 세상적인 위험으로부터 벗어나게 해주고 올바른 길로 인도해주고 영적인 도움이 필요한 이웃에게 조언과 행동으로 도움을 줄 수 있게 되어 그들의 위험을 줄일 수 있는 기회가 주어진다.

너희가 위험을 보면, 너희는 단지 너희의 심장을 강팍하게 만들어서는 안 되고 너희의 눈을 돌려서는 안 된다. 너희가 한 번 도움을 주었다면, 이로써 무관심하게 되거나 충분하게 행하였다고 믿어서는 안 된다. 너희는 항상 지속적으로 사랑해야 한다. 그러면 너희 자신이 너희 안에서 내가 축복하는 베푸는 사람의 축복된 느낌을 체험하게 될 것이다. 그는 자신이 나누어 준 만큼 같은 정도로 나로부터 다시 받는 일을 체험할 것이고 자신이 희생했던 세상의 소유물보다 그를 훨씬 더 크게 행복하게 하는 선물을 받게 될 것이다.

왜냐면 너희가 이웃에게 나눠주면, 너희가 나에게 주는 것이기 때문이다. 너희가 이웃에게 베푸는 사랑은 나를 사랑한 것이고 너희는 너희의 나를 향한 사랑을 단지 너희 이웃을 사랑하는 일을 통해 나에게 증명할 수 있다.

너희는 너희가 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑을 통해 얼마나 큰 부유함을 모으는 지를 측량할 수 없다. 그러나 너희가 언젠가 행복한 가운데 내 말씀이 진리라는 것을 깨닫고 이 땅에서 영적인 재물을 모으는 일이 실제 어렵지 않다는 것을 인정할 것이다. 나는 너희를 이렇게 행복하게 해주기 원하고 그러므로 나는 너희에게 항상 사랑을 행하도록 권면한다.

도움이 필요한 사람이 너희에게 지원을 요청하면, 너희가 항상 나 자신이 구걸하는 자로써 너희에게 다가가는 것으로 생각한다면, 내가 사랑으로 제공하는 모든 선물을 알고 내가 축복하는 눈으로 너희들을 바라본다는 것을 너희가 항상 생각하면, 너희의 이웃을 향한 사랑이 성장할 것이다. 왜냐면 사랑은 항상 응답하는 사랑을 깨어나게 하고 사랑 안에 능력과 축복이 있기 때문이다.

너희가 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 한 일이 곧 나에게 한 일이다. 너희 모두는 내 자녀들이고 자녀들이 서로 간에 사랑하면, 자녀들은 아버지께 가장 큰 행복을 선물해주는 것이다. 왜냐면 단지 사랑이 진정한 축복을 줄 수 있고 사랑이 유일하게 너희 모두가 사랑이 없이는 도달할 수 없는 완성에 도달하게 하기 때문이다.

너희에게 도울 수 있는 기회와 조언해줄 수 있는 기회가 있는 동안에 감사하라. 왜냐면 너희가 아직 이렇게 할 수 있는 삶의 능력을 소유하고 있기 때문이다. 그러나 너희가 언젠가 행하지 않은 것을 깨닫고 뒤늦게 행하려고 시도한다면, 행할 삶의 능력이 없게 될 것이기 때문이다. 이 땅의 삶을 사랑을 행하는 기회로 활용하라. 이로써 너희가 능력이 충만한 가운데 영의 나라에 들어갈 수 있고 너희가 이 땅에서 행하지 않은 일로 인해 너희가 연약하고 무기력하게 되고 쓰라리게 후회하지 않도록 너희가 사랑을 행함으로 얻은 재물을 가지고 영의 나라에서 역사할 수 있게 하라.
