"Many are called, but few are chosen...."

Many are called, but few are chosen. You have all been given the task of forming yourselves into a vessel of My spirit, and you would all be able to do so if your will strove for it. But the fact that you do not all reach the aim is due to yourselves, precisely due to your will, which is free and not directed or determined by Me to do what is right. Only a few take their earthly task seriously, they shape their heart according to My will and therefore can also let My spirit become effective in them. And thus these are the ones who are chosen among the many called ones.... But to have been chosen by Me means to have to fulfil a task which can only be carried out by a person who allows My working of the spirit. He shall represent Me and My name before the world, he shall proclaim My word, the divine teaching of love, which reveals My will to people. No person can administer such an office on earth who does not belong to My chosen ones, for the proclamation of the gospel requires knowledge which corresponds to the truth. Such knowledge cannot be gained through study, for mental knowledge is not sufficient for the spreading of My gospel, instead, the spirit from Me must first bring mental knowledge to life, otherwise it will only remain pure worldly knowledge, even though it has spiritual content. Therefore, every preacher of My word must also have been chosen by Me for his ministry, and he must prove this.... He must be able to demonstrate a gift of the spirit, the working of My spirit in him must be obvious. This means that he has abilities which he did not acquire but which were given to him by Me as evidence of My working of the spirit in him. One such ability is also the interpretation of the word which testifies of Me.... the interpretation of the scriptures which are regarded as My word.... No matter how long a study makes the human being capable of grasping and explaining the spiritual meaning of My word. For intellectual knowledge cannot replace what My spirit announces to the human being. My spirit, however, cannot work where the prerequisites for it are not given. But where My spirit is active, intellectual knowledge is not necessary, there I Myself instruct the human being and place the spiritual truth into his heart in a highly comprehensible way so that he is full of knowledge and realization....

(17.2.1953) And therefore it is also a futile effort to want to draw wisdom from the scriptures as long as My spirit cannot work. And thus it can also be explained why the interpretation of My word is so often wrong, why only the literal meaning is interpreted but not the spiritual meaning, which I placed in all My words I spoke on earth. For the human being's intellect interprets the literal sense, the spiritual sense is interpreted by the spirit from Me, if it can work in the human being. And what intellectual work is required for this.... while the spirit from Me clearly and understandably explains My word without the intellect having to become active. And yet, the human being naturally reproduces this explanation as if it were his intellectual result, yet the profound wisdom of what he says, the interpretations which are understandable to all, testify to the working of the spirit, yet again only to those who are of good will and want to be taught correctly.... whereas an intellectual interpretation is not a satisfactory explanation to fellow human beings and cannot convince them. The spirit alone gives brightness, the spirit conveys truth, and the spirit alone appeals to the heart, whereas the intellect again only appeals to the intellect and finds no echo in the heart.

But My spirit will always be able to be effective where love is.... a love which is always willing to give, which wants to help and redeem, a love which knows no other desire than to alleviate hardship, be it spiritual or earthly. Where the giving, completely selfless love is evident, truth can also always be found there, because I am where love is, because every work of love attracts Me Myself and the person who lives in love is intimately united with Me.... And where I am My spirit is active, where I am is truth, where I am I express Myself through the spirit, and that also means light, knowledge.... it means possessing knowledge which corresponds to the truth....

"Muitos são chamados, mas poucos são escolhidos...."

Muitos são chamados, mas poucos são escolhidos. A todos vós foi dada a tarefa de vos formardes num recipiente do Meu espírito, e todos vós seríeis capazes de o fazer se a vossa vontade se esforçasse por isso. Mas o facto de nem todos alcançarem o objectivo é devido a vós próprios, precisamente devido à vossa vontade, que é livre e não é dirigida ou determinada por Mim para fazer o que é correcto. Apenas alguns levam a sério a sua tarefa terrena, moldam o seu coração de acordo com a Minha vontade e por isso podem também deixar que o Meu espírito se torne eficaz neles. E assim estes são os escolhidos entre os muitos chamados.... Mas ter sido escolhido por Mim significa ter de cumprir uma tarefa que só pode ser executada por uma pessoa que permita o Meu trabalho do espírito. Ele representará Mim e o Meu nome perante o mundo, proclamará a Minha Palavra, o ensinamento divino do amor, que revela a Minha vontade às pessoas. Nenhuma pessoa pode administrar tal cargo na terra que não pertença aos Meus escolhidos, pois a proclamação do Evangelho requer um conhecimento que corresponda à verdade. Tal conhecimento não pode ser adquirido através do estudo, pois o conhecimento mental não é suficiente para a difusão do Meu Evangelho, em vez disso, o espírito de Mim deve primeiro trazer o conhecimento mental à vida, caso contrário ele só permanecerá puro conhecimento mundano, mesmo que tenha conteúdo espiritual. Portanto, cada pregador da Minha Palavra também deve ter sido escolhido por Mim para o seu ministério, e ele deve provar isto.... Ele deve ser capaz de demonstrar um dom do espírito, o funcionamento do Meu espírito nele deve ser óbvio. Isto significa que ele tem capacidades que não adquiriu, mas que lhe foram dadas por Mim como prova do Meu trabalho do espírito nele. Uma dessas capacidades é também a interpretação da Palavra que testemunha de Mim.... a interpretação das Escrituras que são consideradas como Minha Palavra.... Não importa quanto tempo um estudo torna o ser humano capaz de captar e explicar o significado espiritual da Minha Palavra. Pois o conhecimento intelectual não pode substituir o que o Meu espírito anuncia ao ser humano. O meu espírito, no entanto, não pode funcionar onde os pré-requisitos para tal não são dados. Mas onde o Meu espírito é activo, o conhecimento intelectual não é necessário, aí Eu próprio instruo o ser humano e coloco a verdade espiritual no seu coração de uma forma altamente compreensível para que ele esteja cheio de conhecimento e realização.... (17.2.1953) E, portanto, é também um esforço fútil querer tirar sabedoria das Escrituras enquanto o Meu espírito não puder funcionar. E assim também se pode explicar porque é que a interpretação da Minha Palavra é tão frequentemente errada, porque é interpretado apenas o significado literal, mas não o significado espiritual, que coloquei em todas as Minhas Palavras que falei na Terra. Pois o intelecto do ser humano interpreta o sentido literal, o sentido espiritual é interpretado pelo espírito de Mim, se ele pode trabalhar no ser humano. E que trabalho intelectual é necessário para isso enquanto o espírito de Mim explica clara e compreensivelmente a Minha Palavra sem que o intelecto tenha de se tornar activo. E no entanto, o ser humano reproduz naturalmente esta explicação como se fosse o seu resultado intelectual, mas a profunda sabedoria do que ele diz, as interpretações que são compreensíveis para todos, testemunham o funcionamento do espírito, mais uma vez apenas para aqueles que são de boa vontade e querem ser ensinados correctamente.... enquanto que uma interpretação intelectual não é uma explicação satisfatória para os semelhantes e não os consegue convencer. Só o espírito dá brilho, o espírito transmite a verdade, e só o espírito apela ao coração, enquanto o intelecto volta a apelar apenas ao intelecto e não encontra eco no coração.

Mas o meu espírito será sempre capaz de ser eficaz onde o amor está.... um amor que está sempre disposto a dar, que quer ajudar e redimir, um amor que não conhece outro desejo senão o de aliviar as dificuldades, seja ele espiritual ou terreno. Onde a doação, o amor completamente altruísta é evidente, a verdade também pode ser sempre encontrada lá, porque Eu Estou onde o amor está, porque cada obra de amor atrai-me a Mim mesmo e a pessoa que vive apaixonada está intimamente unida a Mim.... E onde Eu Sou O Meu espírito está activo, onde Eu Sou a verdade, onde Eu Sou Eu me expresso através do espírito, e isso também significa luz, conhecimento.... significa possuir conhecimentos que correspondem à verdade...._>Ámen
