Faith without love is dead....

It is essential to live up to the commandment of love in order to attain profound faith. Proof is not necessary to believe, rather, you have to become convinced of something that cannot be proven so that you can wholeheartedly support it, so that you can endorse what you now believe in. Only this kind of faith is assessed by Me as living faith, for I do not regard mere words and assurances as belief but merely as an agreement to avoid an objection, since you cannot substantiate an objection. In that case you blindly believe, you accept without scrutiny, without personal opinion, what is imparted to you from outside. But this kind of faith will never emanate strength, with this kind of faith you will never be able to achieve remarkable effects.... for only a living faith can give evidence of the strength of faith. But living faith is faith born by love, because love is the strength which then expresses itself in faith. Faith without love is dead, it is something inertly formal that has no effect. An active intellect can certainly come to a conclusion which the person then calls ‘belief’ but this belief will be more an assumption which will neither please nor elevate him.... as long as the love in him has not been kindled. For only love will give life to such faith. A loving person, however, does not need to activate his intellect exceptionally, and yet he will nevertheless be able to endorse his knowledge, for he is enlightened by his inner spirit, and thus he can believe with conviction because he has the evidence within himself.

Hence, what should be believed cannot be proven, or one could not talk about ‘faith’, and yet no doubt exists for the person who lives with love, because the spirit within him will give him explanations which justify profound faith. But these cannot be conclusively transferred to another person because every human being has to arrive at faith himself, which he is able to do if he does not ignore love.... love, however, is the unification with Me.... Consequently, I Myself also have to be recognised by those who love, and therefore faith in Me can no longer be doubtful.... for where I Am present through love I give evidence of Myself to the person, and then he is imbued by a living faith which can never be without strength. I Am the source of everything.... love and wisdom, light and strength originate from Me, and one without the other is unthinkable.... Thus anyone who is intimately connected to Me through love will necessarily also have living faith and thus full knowledge. But where love is lacking the latter does not exist either. Then it is a dead faith without awareness, for I Am love Myself, without love there is no strength and no light.... without love you humans still live in darkness, and without love you are frail beings, for only love will make you strong....

La fede senza amore è morta

Adempiere il Comandamento dell’amore è inevitabile per il raggiungimento di una profonda fede. Per poter credere, non c’è bisogno di dimostrazioni, ma qualcosa in voi deve diventare convinzione per cui non può esser fornita nessuna dimostrazione, affinché vi potete adoperare pienamente per ciò che ora credete. Solo una tale fede viene da Me valutata come fede, che è viva, perché parole ed affermazioni soltanto non vengono da Me considerate come fede, ma solo come un’approvazione per non contraddire, perché non potete motivare una contraddizione. Allora credete alla cieca, accettate senza esame, senza prenderne posizione voi stessi di ciò che vi viene trasmesso dall’esterno. Ma una tale fede non irradierà mai una forza, con una tale fede non potrete mai compiere cose insolite, perché la Forza della fede la può dimostrare solo una fede viva. Una fede viva però è quella che procede dall’amore, perché l’amore è la Forza che poi si manifesta nella fede. Una fede senza amore è morta, è qualcosa di formale senza vita, che non ha nessun effetto. Può benissimo lavorare l’intelletto e giungere ad una logica, che poi l’uomo chiama “fede”, ma una tale fede sarà però solo una supposizione che non lo rende né felice né lo eleva, finché in lui non è ancora acceso l’amore. Perché solo l’amore dà la vita ad una tale fede. Un uomo amorevole però non ha bisogno di rendere straordinariamente attivo il suo intelletto, e malgrado ciò potrà rappresentare intellettualmente la sua conoscenza, perché è illuminato dallo spirito in sé, e perciò può credere convinto, perché ha in sé la dimostrazione. Quindi ciò che è da credere, non è dimostrabile, altrimenti non si potrebbe parlare di “fede” e ciononostante per colui che vive nell’amore, non esiste nessun dubbio, perché lo spirito in lui dà i chiarimenti che giustificano la profonda fede, che però non possono essere trasmesse fattivamente al prossimo, perché ogni uomo stesso deve giungere alla fede e lo può anche, se non lascia inosservato l’amore, l’amore però è l’unificazione con Me. Perciò Io Stesso devo anche Essere riconosciuto da coloro che stanno nell’amore e perciò nemmeno la fede in Me può più essere dubbiosa, perché dove Io Sono presente tramite l’amore, dimostro Me Stesso all’uomo e lo colma ora una fede viva che non può mai più essere senza Forza. Io Sono l’Origine di tutto, da Me procedono Amore e Sapienza, Luce e Forza ed una cosa non è pensabile senza l’altra. Chi quindi sta con Me in intima unione tramite l’amore, deve necessariamente anche stare nella viva fede e con ciò nella piena conoscenza. Ma se manca l’amore, allora manca anche l’altra cosa. Allora la fede è morta e manca la conoscenza, perché Io Stesso Sono l’Amore, senza Amore non esiste nessuna Forza e nessuna Luce, senza amore l’uomo cammina ancora nell’oscurità, e senza amore siete esseri deboli, perché solo l’amore vi rende forti.
