Fight with the sword of the mouth....

In a world of the worst unbelief, the most blatant lack of love and the most complete ignorance the pure word of God, which you receive as a special grace, will not be recognized as a divine gift, because the ability to recognize depends on a person's faith and love and intellectual acuity alone does not replace the ability to recognize. And yet, people who are spiritually blind must be influenced, an attempt must be made to awaken faith and love in them so that knowledge will come as a result. An influence must be exerted insofar as people are reminded of the consequences of their wrong life, without faith and love, and they are made aware of the dreadful fate which awaits them if they don't change. Without faith and love no understanding for spiritual teachings can be expected, yet if it is presented to people that they create an unbearable or a blissful fate for themselves they will acquaint themselves with the possibility of such and accordingly be receptive for further instructions or else completely reject and deny a continuation of life, if they have already completely fallen prey to the one who gave them this line of thought, who influences them in such a way that they neither believe nor love and are therefore spiritually darkened until their final physical and spiritual death. In the time of spiritual darkness it is not possible to influence people's will in any way so that it decides in a certain direction. Only through speeches and ideas can the one thing be achieved that they think, and then the desire for truth is decisive which direction the thoughts take. And that is why it is a battle with the sword of the mouth, which can only be waged by the one who is able to refute everything that is held up to him by the opposing side or raised as a counter objection. People who confront them must be of sound mind, they must be under divine guidance themselves, they must only be the instrument through which God expresses Himself, Who nevertheless does not touch the human being's free will if he wants to remain His adversary and cannot be convinced by divine words either. Nevertheless, the work of a person who tries to bring light into the spiritual darkness is an extremely beneficial one, after all, the thoughts of those who cross his path are stimulated as soon as he sets out to fight for the kingdom of God, as soon as he speaks out of innermost impulse to instruct his erring fellow human beings and to help them reach the light of day. He will certainly find much unbelief, he will be exposed to hostility, God's adversary will confront him with worldly wisdom and he will have to refute ever new objections, yet he will also have supernatural strength which can be recognized from his unrefutable speeches and his conviction.... one will not be able to prove to him the opposite of what he advocates, on the other hand, with an earnest will and desire for truth he will be able to convince himself that his words deserve to be believed, that the promises will be fulfilled if the conditions attached to them are met. Only the will has to be there to let love arise within oneself, then faith will also be awakened and recognition will be easy.... Yet God's adversary also constantly works to confuse people's thinking, and therefore he impels them into unkindness and destroys all faith as long as the human being does not defend himself. It is a battle that must be waged with all ruthlessness if it is to bring victory. But the ruthlessness of God's servants on earth consists of the fact that they mercilessly expose the intrigues which God's adversary engages in, that they do not shy away from exposing him, that they present their faults and vices to people with the indication that they are under the influence of him who pulls them down into the abyss. For then they speak the truth, while the adversary seeks to win his followers with lies and glosses over everything people do in their unkindness. It is not spiritual arrogance if the fellow human being is made aware of his faults, for anyone who recognizes the causes of spiritual blindness also has the right, like a doctor, to draw attention to the causes of illness, and thus he must relentlessly expose the faults so that action can be taken against them and a recovery achieved which does not affect the body but the soul and secures it a life in eternity. Anyone who has faith himself knows about the disaster of faithlessness and should control it; anyone who has matured in knowledge through love also knows about the state of souls which are devoid of all love, and if he seriously wants to help them then he must test the power of the divine word on them and try everything to save them from greatest spiritual hardship.... he must fight with the sword of his mouth, and his spirit will guide him correctly, he will always find the right words, and his battle for the kingdom of God will be successful....

Lutar com a espada da boca....

Num mundo da pior incredulidade, a mais flagrante falta de amor e a mais completa ignorância a pura Palavra de Deus, que se recebe como uma graça especial, não será reconhecida como um dom divino, porque a capacidade de reconhecer depende da fé e do amor de uma pessoa e a acuidade intelectual por si só não substitui a capacidade de reconhecer. E no entanto, as pessoas que são espiritualmente cegas devem ser influenciadas, deve ser feita uma tentativa de despertar nelas a fé e o amor para que o conhecimento venha como resultado. Uma influência deve ser exercida na medida em que as pessoas são lembradas das consequências da sua vida errada, sem fé e amor, e são alertadas para o destino terrível que as espera se não mudarem. Sem fé e amor não se pode esperar qualquer compreensão dos ensinamentos espirituais, no entanto, se for apresentado às pessoas que elas criam um destino insuportável ou um destino feliz para si próprias, elas irão familiarizar-se com a possibilidade de tal e, consequentemente, estarão receptivas a mais instruções ou então rejeitarão completamente e negarão uma continuação da vida, se já caíram completamente na presa daquele que lhes deu esta linha de pensamento, que os influencia de tal forma que não acreditam nem amam e, portanto, são espiritualmente obscurecidos até à sua morte física e espiritual final. Em tempo de escuridão espiritual não é possível influenciar de forma alguma a vontade das pessoas para que decidam numa determinada direcção. Só através de discursos e ideias se pode alcançar a única coisa que eles pensam, e então o desejo de verdade é decisivo qual a direcção que os pensamentos tomam. E é por isso que é uma batalha com a espada da boca, que só pode ser travada por aquele que é capaz de refutar tudo o que lhe é apresentado pelo lado oposto ou levantado como uma contra-proposta. As pessoas que as enfrentam devem estar de mente sã, devem estar elas próprias sob orientação divina, devem ser apenas o instrumento através do qual Deus se expressa, que no entanto não toca no livre arbítrio do ser humano se ele quiser continuar a ser Seu adversário e também não pode ser convencido por palavras divinas. No entanto, o trabalho de uma pessoa que tenta trazer a luz para as trevas espirituais é extremamente benéfico, afinal, os pensamentos daqueles que cruzam o seu caminho são estimulados assim que ele se põe a lutar pelo reino de Deus, assim que fala por impulso íntimo para instruir os seus semelhantes errados e para os ajudar a alcançar a luz do dia. Encontrará certamente muita descrença, estará exposto à hostilidade, o adversário de Deus confrontá-lo-á com a sabedoria mundana e terá de refutar sempre novas objecções, mas terá também uma força sobrenatural que pode ser reconhecida pelos seus discursos irrefutáveis e pela sua convicção.... não poderá provar-lhe o contrário do que defende, por outro lado, com uma vontade e um desejo sincero de verdade poderá convencer-se de que as suas palavras merecem ser acreditadas, que as promessas serão cumpridas se as condições a elas associadas forem cumpridas. Só a vontade tem de estar presente para deixar o amor surgir dentro de si próprio, então a fé também será despertada e o reconhecimento será fácil.... Contudo, o adversário de Deus também trabalha constantemente para confundir o pensamento das pessoas, e por isso impele-as para a indelência e destrói toda a fé enquanto o ser humano não se defender. É uma batalha que deve ser travada com toda a impiedade se se quiser trazer a vitória. Mas a impiedade dos servos de Deus na terra consiste no facto de que eles impiedosamente expõem as intrigas em que o adversário de Deus se envolve, que não hesitam em expô-lo, que apresentam os seus defeitos e vícios às pessoas com a indicação de que estão sob a influência d'Aquele que os puxa para o abismo. Pois então eles falam a verdade, enquanto o adversário procura conquistar os seus seguidores com mentiras e glosas sobre tudo o que as pessoas fazem na sua indelicadeza. Não é arrogância espiritual se o semelhante for alertado para as suas falhas, pois quem reconhece as causas da cegueira espiritual também tem o direito, como um médico, de chamar a atenção para as causas da doença, e assim deve expor incessantemente as falhas para que se possa agir contra elas e uma recuperação alcançada que não afecte o corpo mas a alma e lhe assegure uma vida na eternidade. Qualquer pessoa que tenha fé conhece o desastre da falta de fé e deve controlá-lo; qualquer pessoa que tenha amadurecido no conhecimento através do amor também conhece o estado das almas que são desprovidas de todo o amor, e se quer seriamente ajudá-las então deve testar o poder da Palavra divina sobre elas e tentar tudo para salvá-las das maiores dificuldades espirituais.... ele deve lutar com a espada da sua boca, e o seu espírito irá guiá-lo correctamente, ele encontrará sempre as palavras certas, e a sua batalha pelo reino de Deus será bem sucedida...._>Ámen
