Glaring light.... knowing too much.... protection of the father....

The father's eye watches over His own. And He does not allow them to be in danger of losing themselves, He stands by them in every danger and draws them back to Himself again if they let themselves be blinded and are no longer able to recognize the path properly. Then He goes before them as a gentle light, which they willingly follow. To walk in darkness is dangerous for the wanderer; but likewise a glaring light is easily misleading, because it makes the eye incapable of rightly recognizing what steps into its path. And that is why the eye must first become accustomed to darkness again before it has its sight back.... You all very often turn to the glare and therefore often run the risk of weakening your eyes, you can no longer properly distinguish truth from error.... The soft light does not satisfy you and yet is only suitable for your soul. You are constantly trying to suddenly put it into brightest light which, however, is very harmful to it. For then it no longer recognizes anything around it and helplessly wanders around in a blinded state. Why do you humans want to penetrate the deepest truth as long as you still lack the ability to comprehend the initial reasons? Such light does your eye no good but only weakens it, and thus a certain knowledge is also unsuitable for the soul, because it can only be introduced very slowly, according to its degree of maturity, if it wants to receive blessings from the knowledge. For this reason the father watches over His own and often lets them fall into darkness, so that the eye will strengthen again and learn to distinguish, so that truth and error will be recognized again by people who became incapable of recognizing through their own guilt.... who demanded more light than is beneficial for their soul and do not respect the grace of walking in the light....

화려한 빛. 높은 지식. 아버지의 보호.

아버지의 눈은 자신에게 속한 사람들을 지켜본다. 아버지는 그들이 자신을 잃을 위험에 빠지는 일을 허락하지 않고, 모든 위험 가운데 그들의 곁에 서고, 그들이 눈이 멀게 해서 더 이상 올바른 길을 깨달을 수 없게 되면, 그들을 다시 자신에게 끌어당긴다. 그러면 그는 부드러운 빛으로 그들 앞서 걷고, 그들이 자원하여 그를 따른다. 어두움 속에서 걷는 일은 순례자에게 위험하다. 그러나 화려한 빛도 마찬가지로 오류로 인도한다. 왜냐면 화려한 빛이 눈이 그가 무엇을 만나는지 올바르게 깨달을 수 없게 하기 때문이다. 그러므로 눈이 다시 자신의 시력을 회복하기 전에 어두움에 먼저 익숙해져야 한다.

너희 모두는 아주 자주 눈을 부시게 하는 빛으로 향하고 그러므로 자주 시력이 약해질 위험에 처하고, 너희는 더 이상 진리와 오류를 올바르게 구별할 수 없게 된다. 부드러운 빛으로 너희는 만족하지 않는다. 그러나 부드러운 빛이 단지 유일하게 너희 혼에게 적합하다. 너희는 갑자기 혼을 가장 밝은 빛으로 가게 하려고 끊임없이 노력하지만, 그런 일은 너희에게 매우 해가 된다. 왜냐면 혼이 더 이상 주변의 어떤 것도 깨닫지 못하고 눈이 먼 상태에서 무기력하게 방황하기 때문이다.

너희 인간에게 근원적인 이유를 파악할 수 있는 능력이 아직 부족한 동안에 너희는 왜 가장 깊은 진리 안으로 들어가기를 원하느냐? 그런 빛은 너희의 눈에 좋지 않고 단지 눈을 약하게 한다. 그러므로 특정한 지식은 혼에게 적합하지 않다. 왜냐면 특정한 지식이 지식으로 인해 축복이 되려면, 먼저 사람들의 성숙한 정도에 따라 아주 천천히 알게 해야 하기 때문이다. 그러므로 아버지가 자신에게 속한 사람을 지켜보고 자주 어두움 속에 빠지게 한다. 이로써 눈이 다시 강하게 되고 구별할 수 있게 하여, 그들의 혼에게 합당하지 않은 더 많은 빛을 갈망하고 빛 가운데 거하는 은혜에 주의를 기울이지 않는 자신들의 잘못으로 깨달을 능력이 없게 된 사람들이 진리와 오류를 다시 깨닫게 한다.
