Spiritual mentor....

Every soul has its spiritual mentor, its guide, who wants to help it to eternal life. He seeks to influence the human being's thoughts and turn them towards the spiritual kingdom, but he also shapes the human being's life fate such that it can lead to great success, yet with due regard for free will. This mentor knows what is beneficial for the soul's development and what could be disadvantageous for it, and therefore he will always endeavour to help the soul's progress, because he is united with it in love and the guidance over this soul has been given to him by God Himself. He promotes everything that serves it; what could be detrimental to it he tries to prevent, but always in wise knowledge and great love. As long as the human being remains on earth the spiritual spheres are closed to him intellectually; even if the soul can soar into the spiritual kingdom it still does so unconsciously to the body and is also unable to convey the impressions from these spheres to the intellectual being in such a way that he could form a picture which corresponds to the truth. The spiritual kingdom will also remain a mystery to the physical human being until the body has spiritualized itself to such an extent that the soul can communicate what it has seen and it remains in its consciousness. Then that degree of maturity is reached which makes a further life on earth unnecessary, which the spiritual leader would also like to reach as long as the soul still dwells in the body. But as soon as this degree of maturity has not yet been reached the mentor carefully guards the intellectual person against creating distorted images of the spiritual kingdom which could only confuse him but not further him, for the human being's intellect still has an influence on the soul as long as it has not already reached the degree of maturity that it is able to see spiritually. It can certainly dwell in spheres in dreams from which it draws much strength and knowledge but it will not take over the memory of it into earthly life as long as the body is not equally spiritualized. In a manner of speaking the spiritual mentor erects a wall and hides everything behind it which is still incomprehensible to the human being's intellect, whereas the soul can cross the wall unhindered and gain insight into the spiritual kingdom. And this boundary is carefully guarded by the spiritual side.... remains hidden from the human being's intellect what is unveiled to the soul.... until there is no longer any danger for the soul to fall into doubt when the intellect tries to shake it. A strong soul, which has become rich in knowledge, can now also convince the intellect and correctly refute every objection, yet it first has to have reached this maturity, then it can look unhesitatingly and consciously into the spiritual kingdom and also communicate itself to the intellect, which then likewise allows itself to be taught about it and does not oppose any doubts of faith. Anyone who seeks the truth will also find it, yet the human being should always leave himself to the spiritual guidance and not try to penetrate knowledge on his own authority, which can only harm him if he does not have the necessary degree of maturity to make proper use of the knowledge. His spiritual guide knows about the state of the soul and seeks to raise it as long as no resistance is offered to him. For he does not lack wisdom and love, and he considers his pupils in such a way that it is a blessing for them....

Le mentor spirituel

Chaque âme a son mentor spirituel, son guide, qui veut l'aider à atteindre la Vie éternelle. Il cherche à influencer les pensées de l'homme et à les tourner vers le Règne spirituel, il forme aussi le destin de la vie de celui-ci de sorte qu’il puisse lui apporter un grand succès, mais toujours en observant sa libre volonté. Ce mentor sait ce qui sert au développement de l'âme et ce qui pourrait être un désavantage et donc il s’efforcera toujours d'aider l'âme à progresser, parce qu'il est lié à elle dans l'amour et la conduite de cette âme lui a été assignée par Dieu Lui-Même. Il promeut tout ce qui lui sert ; il cherche à empêcher tout ce qui pourrait lui nuire, mais toujours dans la sage connaissance et avec un grand amour. Tant que maintenant l'homme reste sur la Terre, il est compréhensible que lui soient fermées les sphères spirituelles, même si l'âme peut se lancer dans le Règne spirituel, mais elle le fait indépendamment du corps et elle n'est même pas en mesure de communiquer des impressions de ces sphères à l'entendement de l’homme, pour qu'il puisse se faire une image qui corresponde à la Vérité. Le Règne spirituel restera un mystère à l'homme corporel tant que le corps lui-même n'est pas complètement spiritualisé et que l'âme puisse lui communiquer ce qu’elle a vu et que cela reste dans sa conscience. Alors il est atteint ce degré de maturité qui ne rend pas nécessaire une continuation de la vie sur la Terre, degré que le guide spirituel voudrait aussi atteindre pendant que l'âme reste encore dans le corps. Mais tant que ce degré de maturité n'a pas été atteint, le mentor garde attentivement l'entendement de l’homme afin qu’il ne se crée pas des images déformées du Règne spirituel, qui le troubleraient seulement mais qui ne pourraient pas le promouvoir, parce que l'entendement de l'homme a une influence sur l'âme, si celle-ci n'a pas déjà atteint le degré de maturité pour pouvoir contempler spirituellement. Elle même peut certes séjourner en rêve dans ces sphères d’où elle puise beaucoup de Force et de Savoir, mais elle n’en emportera pas de souvenir dans la vie terrestre, tant que le corps lui-même n'est pas spiritualisé. Le mentor spirituel érige pour ainsi dire un mur et derrière ce mur se cache tout ce qui est encore incompréhensible à l'entendement de l'homme, tandis que l'âme peut dépasser facilement le mur et regarder dans le Règne spirituel. Et cette frontière est soigneusement surveillée par la partie spirituelle, ce qui est montré librement à l'âme reste caché à l'entendement de l'homme jusqu'à l'instant où il n'existe plus aucun danger pour l'âme de douter lorsque l'entendement cherche à l’ébranler. Une âme forte qui est riche de connaissance, peut maintenant aussi convaincre l'entendement et réfuter chaque objection, mais auparavant elle doit avoir atteint cette maturité, alors elle peut regarder consciemment dans le Règne spirituel sans limites et se communiquer aussi à l'entendement qui, maintenant, se laisse instruire et n'oppose aucun doute lié à la foi. Celui qui cherche la Vérité, la trouvera, mais l'homme doit toujours se confier à la conduite spirituelle et ne pas chercher à pénétrer arbitrairement dans un savoir qui peut seulement lui nuire, s'il n'a pas le degré nécessaire de maturité, pour bien employer ce savoir. Sa conduite spirituelle connaît l'état de l'âme et cherche à l'élever, tant qu’il ne lui est opposé aucune résistance, parce que la Sagesse et l'Amour ne lui manque pas et il pourvoit son élève de sorte que ce soit pour sa bénédiction.
