Christ's suffering....

Christ's suffering on the cross cannot even be remotely made understandable to people on earth, since in their imperfect state they cannot comprehend what it means for a perfect human being to fall victim to sin, for people's iniquity effectively triumphed over Him Who had not caused them harm. The spawns of hell made the enlightened soul of Jesus, the man, tremble, yet it did not defend itself.... It endured everything; nevertheless it was horror-stricken by so much dirt and evilness from people. It suffered indescribably, even far more than the body, by what it had to endure. The soul was surrounded by darkness and its light was unable to bear darkness; all the same, it did not flee because it wanted to drain the cup to the dregs in order to redeem humanity. It gave up its light, because otherwise that which the love of Jesus, the man, wanted to happen to it in order to offer God a sacrifice for humanity's sins could not have taken place. Thus it allowed its light to become ineffective and found itself in the midst of darkness which tormented and frightened it tremendously and increased its suffering a thousand fold, for the suffering of the soul exceeded the physical pain, which can only be understood by a perfect human being. Jesus, however, was as perfect as His Father in heaven is perfect.... and yet it was still on earth in the midst of sin.... His kingdom was the kingdom of light, the earth was Satan's kingdom, and in this kingdom the soul of light allowed itself to be violated. And the purest and most translucent Being Which ever lived on earth was horrified. It had to allow itself to be touched by hands it detested, because they extended from hell and took hold of it, it had to hear intensely hurtful words; it was effectively detached from its world and totally at the mercy of darkness, which had certainly been its own will for eternity in order to achieve the act of Salvation, yet it was nevertheless no less horrendous, for it was being terrified and tortured to the point of exhaustion.... This is why Jesus exclaimed: 'My God, my God, why have You forsaken me....' At this moment in time it no longer remembered its mission, it only felt the separation from God, from light, for Whom it longed and for Whom it called in its distress.... It was the cruellest thing ever experienced by a person on earth, because He not only had to endure the body's suffering but also because the soul had suffered considerably more still, which humanity cannot understand. For this reason no human being, regardless of how much he would have to suffer, will be able to reach the extent to which Jesus the man had to endure, Who already knew about it long in advance and in His human nature prayed: Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but Thine, be done....' It was also the will of His soul, which had completely subordinated itself to God, to accomplish the act of Salvation and it accepted its fate, for its love for the suffering human race was greater than great, but likewise the guilt of sin was so immense that only the most extreme pain and suffering could count as a sacrifice of atonement, which therefore was carried out by Jesus the human being. Yet the depth of suffering was as immeasurable as His love, which made Him take all suffering of body and soul upon Himself in order to redeem humanity from eternal death....

Le sofferenze di Cristo (Venerdì Santo)

Le sofferenze di Cristo sulla Croce non sono spiegabili più esattamente agli uomini sulla Terra, perché nella loro imperfezione non afferrano che cosa significhi per un Uomo Perfetto di diventare vittima dei peccati, perché la malvagità degli uomini ha in certo qual modo vinto su di Lui, il Quale non aveva fatto loro alcun male. L’Anima di Luce dell’Uomo Gesù rabbrividiva davanti agli aborti dell’inferno, ma non Si E’ difesa. Ha lasciato fare tutto di Sé, ma era stato presa dall’orrore davanti a tanta sporcizia e cattiveria degli uomini. Ha sofferto indescrivibilmente ancora più che il corpo attraverso ciò che gli era stata fatto.

L’Anima si trovava in mezzo all’oscurità, e la Sua Luce non sopportava l’oscurità; ma ciononostante non la fuggiva, perché voleva bere il Calice fino in fondo, per redimere gli uomini. Lei Stessa ha lasciato la Luce, altrimenti non le avrebbe potuto succedere quello che l’Amore dell’Uomo Gesù voleva lasciar accadere, per offrire a Dio un Sacrificio per i peccati dell’umanità. Quindi ha lasciato diventare inefficace la Sua Luce e Si è trovata in mezzo all’oscurità, che La tormentava ed intimoriva oltremodo, che aumentava la Sua sofferenza ancora migliaia di volte, perché i tormenti dell’Anima superavano le sofferenze del corpo, cosa che potrebbe comprendere solamente un uomo perfetto.

Ma Gesù Era perfetto, come Suo Padre nel Cielo E’ Perfetto, e ciononostante ancora sulla Terra in mezzo al peccato. Il Suo Regno era il Regno della Luce, la Terra era il regno di Satana, ed in questo regno l’Anima della Luce Si è lasciata fare violenza. La colmava uno smisurato orrore, l’Essere più puro e più chiaro Che mai ha vissuto sulla Terra. Doveva farSi toccare da mani che Le facevano orrore, perché Le si stendevano dall’inferno e L’afferravano, doveva ascoltare delle parole che La ferivano profondissimamente; in certo qual modo Era separata dal Suo Mondo e lasciata all’oscurità senza protezione, che era bensì sin dall’Eternità la Sua propria Volontà, per compiere l’Opera di Redenzione, ma non per questo meno terribile, perché veniva intimorita e torturata fino allo sfinimento. Per questo Gesù ha gridato le Parole: “Mio Dio, Mio Dio, perché Mi hai abbandonato…” Non sapeva più niente della Sua Missione in questo momento, percepiva solamente la separazione da Dio, dalla Luce, di Cui aveva nostalgia ed a Cui gridava nella Sua miseria.

Era la cosa più crudele che mai ha dovuto subire un uomo sulla Terra, perché non soltanto la sofferenza del corpo doveva essere sopportata da Lui, ma perché l’Anima soffriva notevolmente di più, per la qual cosa l’umanità non ha nessuna comprensione. E perciò nessun uomo, per quanto gravemente dovesse soffrire, non raggiungerà questa misura che l’Uomo Gesù ha sopportato, il Quale lo sapeva già molto tempo prima ed ha pregato nella Sua umanità: “Padre, fa passare da Me questo Calice, ma non la Mia, ma la Tua Volontà sia fatta…”

Era anche contemporaneamente la Volontà dell’Anima, la Quale Si era totalmente subordinata a Dio per compiere l’Opera di Redenzione, e Si E’ data in questa sorte, perché l’Amore per l’umanità sofferente era ultragrande, come però anche la colpa di peccati era così grande, che soltanto i tormenti e le sofferenze più estreme potevano valere come Sacrificio di Espiazione, che l’Uomo Gesù ha portato per questo. Ma la profondità della sofferenza è incommensurabile, come anche il Suo Amore è incommensurabile, che ha fatto prendere su di Sé tutta la sofferenza del corpo e dell’Anima, per redimere l’umanità dalla morte eterna.
