Spiritual poverty....

True filial piety must fill the human heart who wants to pray to Me in spirit and in truth. And only a deeply humble person has this filial piety who feels small and insignificant, who is aware of his great distance from Me and yet has the filial faith that I accept him when he comes to Me in prayer. He has nothing but this faith in My love which does not let him fall, and this spiritual poverty of his makes him humble, but I grant My grace to the humble and through grace he will become blessed. Spiritual poverty is therefore only the admission of his unworthiness and the desire for My grace and mercy, which everyone who lifts his eyes to Me in such humility will also experience. All who feel spiritually poor, who are aware of their deficient state, long for help and look for it where they hope for love and grace. And I praise them blessedly that they entrust themselves to Me in their spiritual poverty, that they recognize themselves and therefore also appeal to Me, for such a prayer will always be humble and always be heard by Me.

Geistige Armut....

Die wahre kindliche Frömmigkeit muß des Menschen Herz erfüllen, der im Geist und in der Wahrheit zu Mir beten will. Und diese kindliche Frömmigkeit hat nur ein tief demütiger Mensch, der sich klein fühlt und unbedeutend, der sich seines weiten Abstandes von Mir bewußt ist und dennoch den kindlichen Glauben hat, daß Ich ihn annehme, wenn er bittend zu Mir kommt. Er hat nichts als nur diesen Glauben an Meine Liebe, die ihn nicht fallenlässet, und diese seine geistige Armut macht ihn demütig, dem Demütigen aber schenke Ich Meine Gnade, und durch die Gnade wird er selig werden. Geistige Armut ist also nur das Eingeständnis seiner Unwürdigkeit und das Verlangen nach Meiner Gnade und Erbarmung, die auch ein jeder erfahren wird, der in solcher Demut seine Augen aufhebt zu Mir. Alle, die sich geistig arm fühlen, die sich bewußt sind ihres mangelhaften Zustandes, verlangen nach Hilfe und suchen sie dort, wo sie Liebe und Gnade erhoffen. Und Ich preise sie selig, daß sie sich in ihrer geistigen Armut Mir anvertrauen, daß sie sich selbst erkennen und darum auch bitten zu Mir, denn ein solches Gebet wird stets demütig sein und immer von Mir erhört werden.
