Own will activity.... blind leaders and their followers....

People let themselves drift without any resistance. They are brought into existence as beings capable of living and thinking, who are to use their abilities for their upward development. They can want and act and should also use their gifts. For the most part, they let themselves drift like a plaything. What is done to them, they put up with without resistance, and thus there are always only a few who want and act and determine their fellow human beings with their will. And these few are not always good, i.e., they do not always determine their fellow human beings for the good. Rather, it is precisely those people who still spiritually oppose Me who have a strong will. Consequently, this will is transferred to them to the detriment of their fellow human beings and they do not defend themselves. This also explains the acceptance of the many misguided teachings which could very well be recognized by the slightest activity of one's own will and thoughts. But letting oneself drift without resistance is no defence against teachings which are offered to people by strong-willed and energetic fellow human beings. They therefore use their will too little and harm themselves, i.e. their soul. But I have given every individual the task to decide freely during earthly life and this decision inevitably demands his own activity of will and thought. One day you will not be able to excuse yourselves by saying that you only followed the instructions which were given to you as important for your soul's salvation. You will not be able to shift the blame onto those who taught you, even if they were given to you as teachers and also proclaimed the pure truth to you. For this too requires your mental attitude towards it, otherwise you would not be able to recognize it as truth. It is a matter of the upward development of each individual soul.... which certainly needs guides in order to reach the heights, but must not follow everyone who offers himself as a guide. Understand that there are many paths and that you should choose the right one. Therefore you must take care of the path yourselves and not blindly follow a guide who, if he is not good himself, can also take the wrong path. I not only demand accountability from these leaders but also from you, otherwise you could truly receive neither reward nor punishment for the right or wrong way of life on earth but only your leader would have deserved it. How can you claim that you have to be obedient to your leaders? You should only fulfil My will, and you have to get to know it yourselves, which can certainly happen through external instruction, but without your mental attitude it cannot lead to the revival and activity of the will. A good guide will always encourage you to think, and you can also follow him.... but a bad leader demands blind faith in him and his teachings. But I condemn blind faith, for it will not awaken you to life. A blind faith testifies to spiritual sloth, idle will and lack of sense of responsibility; a blind faith kills instead of enlivening, and it will never lead to eternal bliss. I Myself did not create you differently from your guides, I gave you a heart which is capable of love if you are willing and which therefore can also attain realization if the human being strives for it. But if he is weak-willed the guide should help him to use his will correctly, he should certainly support him by instructing him but also demand thought from you, otherwise his instructions are pointless. For every person must make the decision himself and one day also answer for this decision....

자신의 의지의 활동. 눈이 먼 지도자와 그의 추종자.

사람들은 어떤 저항도 하지 않고 자신을 흐름에 맡긴다. 그들은 살아갈 수 있고 생각할 수 있는 존재이고, 그들의 능력을 성장을 위해 사용해야 한다. 그들은 원하고 행할 수 있고 또한 자신의 은사를 활용해야 한다. 그들 대부분은 놀이하는 공처럼 자신을 움직이게 한다. 그들에게 행해지는 일을 그들은 저항하지 않고 허용한다. 그러므로 원하고 행하려고 하고 자신의 의지로 이웃 사람을 정하려는 사람은 항상 단지 소수이다.

이 소수의 사람들이 항상 선한 사람들이 아니다. 다시 말해 그들은 항상 이웃 사람을 선하게 되도록 정하지 않는다. 나에게 영적으로 아직 대항하는 사람들이 오히려 강한 의지를 가지고 있다. 결과적으로 이런 의지가 이웃에게 해를 끼치면서 전달되고, 이웃 사람들은 이에 저항하지 않는다. 이를 통해 많은 잘못된 가르침을 영접하는 일을 설명할 수 있다. 이런 오류는 가장 작은 자신의 의지와 생각해보는 일을 통해 실제 깨달을 수 있는 오류이다.

그러나 저항 없이 끌려 다니는 일은 의지가 강하고 행동력이 큰 이웃 사람이 사람들에게 제공하는 가르침에 대해 방어하는 일이 아니다. 그러므로 그들은 자신의 의지를 너무 적게 사용하고 자신에게 해를 끼친다. 즉 자신들의 혼에게 해를 끼친다. 그러나 나는 각 개인에게 이 땅의 삶에서 자유롭게 결정하는 과제를 부여했고 이 결정을 위해 절대적으로 자신의 의지와 생각이 필요하다. 너희는 언젠가 너희가 혼의 구원을 위해 중요한 것으로 주어진 규정을 단지 따랐다는 말로 잘못에 대한 변명을 할 수 없게 될 것이다. 너희를 가르치는 사람들이 너희에게 교사로 배정되고, 너희에게 또한 순수한 진리를 선포할지라도 너희는 너희를 가르친 사람을 비난할 수 없다. 왜냐면 순수한 진리는 또한 이런 순수한 진리에 대한 너희의 생각의 태도를 요구하기 때문이다. 그렇지 않으면 너희가 진리를 진리로 깨달을 수 없기 때문이다.

이 일은 모든 각각의 혼이 높이 성장하는 일이다. 각각의 혼은 실제 높은 곳에 도달하기 위해 인도자가 필요하다. 그러나 자신을 인도자로 소개하는 모든 사람을 따라서는 안 된다. 여러가지 길이 있고 너희가 올바른 길을 택해야 한다는 것을 이해하라. 그러므로 너희 자신이 길에 주의를 기울여야만 하고, 인도자 자신이 선하지 않고, 잘못된 길을 갈 수 있다면, 너희는 인도자를 맹목적으로 따르지 않아야만 한다. 나는 단지 이런 인도자뿐만 아니라 너희에게 또한 책임을 묻는다. 그렇지 않으면 너희는 진실로 올바르게 산 삶과 잘못된 이 땅의 삶에 대한 상급이나 처벌을 받을 수 없게 되고, 단지 너희의 인도자만이 상급이나 처벌을 받게 되었을 것이다.

너희는 어떻게 인도자에게 순종해야만 한다고 주장할 수 있느냐? 너희는 단지 내 뜻을 성취시켜야만 하고, 너희 스스로 내 뜻을 알아야만 한다. 내 뜻을 알게 되는 일은 실제 외부의 가르침을 통해 일어날 수 있다. 그러나 너희의 생각의 자세가 없이는 의지를 활성화시켜 행동으로 이어질 수 없다. 좋은 인도자는 항상 너희가 생각하게 만들고 너희는 그를 따를 수 있다. 그러나 악한 지도자는 자신과 자신의 가르침을 맹목적으로 믿기를 요구한다. 그러나 나는 맹목적인 믿음을 인정하지 않는다. 왜냐면 그런 믿음은 너희를 생명으로 깨어나게 하지 못할 것이기 때문이다. 맹목적인 믿음은 영적인 나태함을 나타내고, 활동하지 않는 의지와 책임감 부족을 나타낸다. 맹목적인 믿음은 활력을 주는 대신 죽게 하고, 절대로 영원한 행복으로 인도하지 않을 것이다.

내가 너희 자신을 너희의 인도자와 다르게 창조한 것이 아니고, 너희가 원한다면, 사랑을 행할 수 있는 심장을 너희에게 주었다. 이로써 사람이 깨달음을 추구하면 깨달음에 도달할 수 있다. 그러나 그가 연약한 의지를 가지고 있고, 인도자가 그가 그의 의지를 올바르게 사용하도록 도와야 한다면, 인도자가 그를 가르치면서 그러나 실제 너희에게 가르친 것에 대해 생각하도록 요구하면서 그를 도와야 한다. 그렇지 않으면 그의 가르침은 무의미하게 된다. 왜냐면 각 사람이 스스로 결정을 내려야만 하고, 각 사람이 언젠가 자신의 결정에 대해 책임을 져야만 하기 때문이다.
