Unifying spirit - soul and body.... struggle against matter....

In the recognition of truth from God lies the greatest satisfaction and the most secure feeling of security at the father's heart. For anyone who has come to know God through the transmission of truth is already united with Him in spirit, and he feels part of Him and therefore free and untroubled according to the soul, even though the body is still earthly bound. Thus the human being can indeed still suffer according to the body but only if he does not listen to the soul's ideas, if the earth still burdens him from time to time and he tries to cope with it instead of consulting the soul, i.e. if he seriously turns away from worldly thoughts and seeks help in adversity from the soul, which then presents him with the groundlessness of earthly worry and only refers him to divine love, which always helps where help is faithfully expected. For the soul stands in recognition and can only not assert itself with its knowledge where the human being's thoughts are still directed outwards instead of inwards. The feeling of security occurs immediately when the human being seeks solitude and establishes contact with God, a contact which the soul certainly maintains at all times but of which the human being is not aware as long as his thoughts wander. But if he joins the soul then it can immediately impart to him the peace and tranquillity which it possesses itself through the realization of eternal truth. For the soul is one with the spirit in itself, which is part of the father-spirit from eternity. Where spirit and soul are already one, the human being is only in distress according to the body until he also joins the spirit and the soul. But since the human being is in the midst of life, he is constantly exposed to external pressures which, however, are only intended to spiritualize the body as far as possible, to consciously enter into the right relationship with matter, so that he does not become its slave but its master. The human being must not allow himself to be disturbed by things which are purely worldly, and therefore he must constantly struggle with it, which will always and constantly oppress him and which he should conquer by turning away from it, by turning his gaze upwards and making God the content of his thoughts. Then everything oppressive will leave him, then he will feel the power and strength of God and feel safe in His care, then all shadows of worldly worries will leave him.... then he will abandon himself to His love and grace and find peace in God.... Yet the truth must already have had an effect on him, he must have recognized God and love Him, because otherwise the soul would not be able to unite with the spirit and then the body would draw the soul into the earthly battle. This is why the human being's first aim is to live in truth, because only a correctly recognized being is aspired to and the conscious striving towards God results in the unification of spirit and soul....

L’unione di spirito, anima e corpo - La lotta contro la materia

Nel riconoscere la Verità di Dio si trova la più grande soddisfazione ed il più sicuro sentimento di essere custodito nel Cuore del Padre. Perché chi ha imparato a riconoscere Dio attraverso la trasmissione della Verità, il suo spirito è già unito con Lui e si sente una parte di Lui e perciò libero e sgravato secondo l’anima, benché il corpo sia ancora legato terrenamente. Quindi l’uomo può bensì ancora soffrire secondo il corpo, ma sempre soltanto, quando non dà ascolto alle presentazioni dell’anima, quando la Terra lo aggrava ancora a volte e lui cerca di vincerla, invece di chiedere consiglio all’anima, cioè di distogliersi seriamente dai pensieri mondani e nella sua miseria cerca l’aiuto presso l’anima, che poi gli presenta l’infondatezza di preoccupazione terrena e lo rimanda solo all’Amore divino, che aiuta sempre dove questo Aiuto è atteso con fede. Perché l’anima sta nella conoscenza e non può soltanto affermarsi con il suo sapere, dove i pensieri dell’uomo sono ancora rivolti all’esteriore invece che nell’interiore. Il sentimento di essere custodito subentra subito, quando l’uomo cerca la solitudine e stabilisce il collegamento con Dio, un collegamento che l’anima mantiene continuamente, di cui però l’uomo non si rende conto, finché i suoi pensieri fluttuano via. Se si unisce con l’anima, questa gli può trasmettere subito la pace e la calma che lei stessa possiede tramite la conoscenza dell’eterna Verità. Perché l’anima è uno con lo spirito in sé, che è parte dello Spirito del Padre dall’Eternità. Dove spirito ed anima sono già uno, l’uomo è solo ancora nella miseria così a lungo secondo il corpo, finché anche lui non si unisce allo spirito ed all’anima. Ma dato che l’uomo sta in mezzo alla vita, è sempre esposto ad oppressioni dall’esterno, che però hanno solo lo scopo che anche il corpo possibilmente si spiritualizzi, che entri coscientemente nel giusto rapporto verso la materia, che non diventi il suo schiavo, ma il suo padrone. L’uomo non deve lasciarsi inquietare da cose che sono solo puramente mondane e perciò deve sempre di nuovo lottare con la materia che lo opprimerà sempre e continuamente e che deve vincere, mentre le si distoglie, rivolge lo sguardo in Alto e fa in modo che Dio Sia il Contenuto dei suoi pensieri. Allora è libero da tutto ciò che l’opprime, allora percepisce la Potenza e la Forza di Dio e si sente al sicuro nella Sua Custodia, allora scompaiono anche tutte le ombre di preoccupazioni mondane, allora si affida al Suo Amore e Grazia e trova calma in Dio. Ma su di lui deve già aver agito la Verità, deve aver riconosciuto Dio ed amarLo, perché diversamente l’anima non si potrebbe unire con lo spirito e poi il corpo tira l’anima nella lotta terrena. Perciò la prima meta dell’uomo è di stare nella Verità, perché solo allora tende ad un Essere giustamente riconosciuto ed il cosciente tendere verso Dio ha per conseguenza l’unione dello spirito e l’anima.
