Earthly activity necessary for servants of God.... profession....

My servants on earth are called to cooperate in the redemption of erring souls. This work requires the use of all their strength, which I will constantly increase in order to also make their earthly activity possible for them, which should go hand in hand with the work for Me but never be given priority. For again and again I give My servants the assurance that I, as their lord, will provide for all needs of life and thus also for their daily sustenance. But the fact that I provide them with an earthly activity is by no means insignificant. The will to serve Me must never be the cause of inactivity, otherwise its value is reduced. The will to serve Me must also be an act of struggle to a certain extent, resistances must be overcome so that the will first proves itself, so that it asserts itself and thus its seriousness is evident. Spiritual work must not be regarded as a pleasant game, as an activity which should fill an idle person's daily routine, which is why I do not approve of it when a pastoral activity becomes a person's profession, so to speak, because then the spiritual work is stamped as an earthly one and in the end it is only a profession, i.e. an activity connected with earthly income. Earthly activity, however, should consist of serving the neighbour, and only through this serving activity can the human being be enabled to also work spiritually, because serving with love is the basic condition for being accepted by Me as a servant. And therefore every earthly activity which is basically serving neighbourly love will also be blessed by Me, especially when the focus is on service and not on material success. Then the ability for spiritual work will also be developed, the human being will become suitable for the work in My vineyard, he will be able to accomplish both by using all his will which, however, has to give preference to spiritual work. This will always be possible, even if the earthly activity seems to take up all the human being's strength and time. Anyone who puts earthly activity before spiritual activity is not suitable for work for the kingdom of God in the redeeming sense, but likewise only spiritual work is not beneficial for the human being's soul. For the human being easily runs the risk of representing the doctrine of love purely theoretically and practizing too little love himself, the inevitable consequence of which is a slowly increasing inability for his mission, because love alone is the key to wisdom and the human being will only be truly wise if he is lovingly active, which, in turn, he is often given enough opportunity to do. And therefore My servants will always be engaged in earthly activity so that they will have to prove themselves, and the stronger their will is the more beneficial the spiritual work will also be, and the work for My kingdom will be done according to My will....

L’attività terrena necessaria per i servitori di Dio - La vocazione

I Miei servi sulla Terra sono chiamati per la collaborazione nella redenzione delle anime erranti. Questo lavoro richiede l’impiego di tutta la loro forza, che Io aumenterò sempre per rendere loro anche possibile la loro attività terrena, che deve svolgersi di pari passo con il lavoro per Me, ma non deve mai essere messo al primo posto. Io fornisco ai Miei servi sempre di nuovo l’assicurazione, che Io come loro Signore provvederò sempre per tutti i bisogni della vita e quindi anche la il loro mantenimento giornaliero. Ma che Io aggiungo loro una attività terrena, non è per nulla senza significato. La volontà di servire Me, non deve mai dare motivo per una inattività, altrimenti sminuisce il suo valore. Anche il voler servire Me deve essere in certo qual modo un’azione di lotta, devono essere superati degli ostacoli affinché si dimostri dapprima la volontà, e quindi sia visibile la sua serietà. Il lavoro spirituale non deve essere considerato un gioco piacevole, che deve colmare la giornata dell’uomo ozioso, per cui Io non l’accetto per buona, quando un’attività di cura dell’anima diventi in certo qual modo un mestiere di un uomo, perché allora il lavoro spirituale viene bollato come uno terreno ed infine è soltanto ancora un mestiere, cioè un’attività unita con il guadagno terreno. Ma l’attività terrena deve consistere nel lavoro di servizio al prossimo e soltanto attraverso quest’attività di servizio l’uomo può essere messo nella situazione di lavorare anche spiritualmente, perché il servire nell’amore è la condizione di base per venire accettato da Me come servo. E perciò ogni attività terrena che è in fondo l’amore servente al prossimo, sarà pure benedetto da Me, in particolare quando viene messo al primo posto il servire e non il successo materiale. Allora viene sviluppata anche la capacità di lavorare spiritualmente, l’uomo diventa idoneo per il lavoro per la Mia Vigna, sarà in grado di compiere ambedue mettendo a disposizione tutta la sua volontà, che però deve dare la precedenza al lavoro spirituale. Questo potrà anche sempre essere compiuto, persino quando l’attività terrena sembri approfittare totalmente della forza e del tempo dell’uomo. Chi precede l’attività terrena alla spirituale, non è idoneo per il lavoro per il Regno di Dio nel senso salvifico, ma ciononostante anche soltanto il lavoro spirituale non è adeguato all’uomo per la sua anima. Perché l’uomo rischia facilmente, di sostenere il suo insegnamento d’amore in modo puramente teorico ed egli stesso esercita troppo poco l’amore, che come conseguenza inevitabile ha una lenta, crescente incapacità per la sua missione, perché soltanto l’amore è la chiave per la Sapienza e l’uomo sarà davvero sapiente, dove lavora nell’amore, per cui gli viene nuovamente offerta a sufficienza l’occasione. E perciò i Miei servi si troveranno sempre in una attività terrena, affinché si debbano affermare, e più forte è la loro volontà, più sarà benedetto il lavoro spirituale, ed il lavoro per il Mio Regno verrà eseguito secondo la Mia Volontà.
