Power of love....

The power of love is overwhelming and yet it is too little recognised and used. It is like a torrent which seizes everything and takes it along with it, it is like a fire which nothing can withstand, which consumes everything that comes close to it. There is an unusual power in love, but it must be a pure love, otherwise it triggers instincts that pull down. A pure love can and must awaken requited love again, just as a force also triggers a counteracting force. And that is why it will also find a reciprocation, even if not directly as a consequence but only when love has had an effect on the fellow human being. It must, so to speak, first touch his heart before the reciprocal love awakens and thus radiates back. It is an original law that love works as a force and that as such it also has tremendous power. It is a fundamental law that it must double itself as soon as two beings feel attracted to each other, but that one behaves passively, the other actively and that therefore the love of the one must be stronger, otherwise it would not be constructive, thus noticeable as power. It is love emanating from God and therefore to be called divine as long as it only strives for spiritual good. However, a person's love can also be for his fellow human being, and even then it can still be divine if the principle of giving love prevails. Then it will also arouse requited love, but it must then be completely free from self-interest, and its aim must always be to give and bestow happiness. (24.10.1947) Anyone who carries love within himself which is willing to give and make happy is truly connected to Me and constantly draws strength from Me. For such love will always urge activity, it has to express its power, and this urge results in everlasting activity. But activity is life, and therefore the human being is only in a state of life when he is full of love. For only love activity ends the state of death which surrounds the soul before. Love work is an activity emanating from the spirit, which cannot be compared to earthly activity, even if it has an earthly effect. The influx of strength from the spiritual kingdom will always drive the human being to increased activity of love, and consequently the strength within himself will constantly increase. Although the human being is not particularly affected by it physically, his entire life of feeling experiences a deepening, he is extremely sensitive and therefore hears the voice of the spirit within himself, which only sounds softly and faintly and cannot be perceived by the physical senses. This voice of the spirit is therefore the effect of loving activity and loving activity again the effect of loving feelings in the heart, this again an emanation of Myself which I let flow to him who loves Me, i.e. who fulfils My commandments, who endeavours to do My will, who consciously strives towards Me, i.e. who acknowledges Me and believes in Me. Love is always power, whether it comes forth from Me and touches My living creations or returns to Me in the form of unselfish loving activity. And this power will continuously flow into the universe, for I Myself, as the eternal Love, want to give and make happy and raise My living creations into a state of bliss, I want them to live and receive and distribute the strength from Me through constant activity, because it drives them to want to give and make happy....

Kraft der Liebe....

Die Kraft der Liebe ist überwältigend, und doch wird sie zu wenig erkannt und genützet. Sie ist wie ein reißender Strom, der alles erfaßt und mit sich führt, sie ist wie ein Feuer, dem nichts standhält, das alles verzehrt, was in seine Nähe kommt. In der Liebe liegt eine ungewöhnliche Stärke, doch es muß eine reine Liebe sein, ansonsten sie Triebe zur Auslösung bringt, die herabziehen. Eine reine Liebe kann und muß wieder Gegenliebe erwecken, wie eine Kraft auch eine Gegenkraft auslöst. Und darum wird sie auch Erwiderung finden, wenn auch nicht unmittelbar als Folgeerscheinung, sondern erst dann, wenn die Liebe auf den Mitmenschen gewirkt hat. Sie muß gewissermaßen erst dessen Herz berühren, bevor die Gegenliebe erwacht und also zurückstrahlt. Es ist dies ein Urgesetz, daß die Liebe als Kraft wirket und daß sie als solche auch eine ungeheure Gewalt hat. Es ist ein Urgesetz, daß sie sich verdoppeln muß, sowie zwei Wesen sich zueinander hingezogen fühlen, daß aber das eine passiv, das andere aktiv sich verhält und daß darum die Liebe des einen stärker sein muß, ansonsten sie nicht aufbauend, also als Kraft spürbar wäre. Es ist die Liebe von Gott ausgehend und somit so lange als göttlich zu bezeichnen, wie sie nur geistiges Gut anstrebt. Es kann aber auch die Liebe eines Menschen dem Mitmenschen gelten, und auch dann noch kann sie göttlich sein, so das Prinzip der gebenden Liebe vorherrscht. Dann wird sie ebenfalls Gegenliebe erwecken, sie muß dann aber völlig frei sein von Eigennutz, und ihr Ziel muß stets sein, Glück zu geben und zu bereiten. (24.10.1947) Wer gebende und beglücken-wollende Liebe in sich trägt, der ist wahrhaft Mir verbunden und beziehet ständig Kraft aus Mir. Denn eine solche Liebe wird stets zur Tätigkeit drängen, sie muß sich entäußern ihrer Kraft, und dieser Trieb hat immerwährende Tätigkeit zur Folge. Tätigkeit aber ist Leben, und sonach steht der Mensch erst dann im Zustand des Lebens, wenn er voll der Liebe ist. Denn Liebeswirken erst beendet den Zustand des Todes, der die Seele zuvor umfängt. Liebeswirken ist eine vom Geist ausgehende Tätigkeit, die nicht mit irdischer Tätigkeit verglichen werden kann, selbst wenn sie sich irdisch auswirkt. Der Zustrom von Kraft aus dem geistigen Reich wird den Menschen immer zu erhöhtem Liebeswirken antreiben, und sonach sich ständig die Kraft in sich vermehrt. Körperlich zwar wird der Mensch nicht sonderlich berührt davon, doch sein ganzes Empfindungsleben erfährt eine Vertiefung, er ist überaus sensibel und vernimmt daher die Stimme des Geistes in sich, die nur leise und fein ertönt und von den körperlichen Sinnen nicht vernommen werden kann. Diese Stimme des Geistes ist also die Auswirkung von Liebetätigkeit und Liebetätigkeit wieder die Auswirkung liebenden Empfindens im Herzen, dieses wieder eine Ausstrahlung Meiner Selbst, die Ich dem zufließen lasse, der Mich liebt, d.h., der Meine Gebote erfüllt, der Meinen Willen zu tun sich bemüht, der Mir bewußt zustrebt. d.h. Mich anerkennt und an Mich glaubt. Immer ist Liebe Kraft, ob sie von Mir ausgeht und Meine Geschöpfe berührt oder zu Mir zurückkehrt in Form uneigennütziger Liebetätigkeit. Und diese Kraft wird ununterbrochen ins Weltall verströmen, denn Ich Selbst, als die ewige Liebe, will geben und beglücken und Meine Geschöpfe in den Zustand der Seligkeit erheben, Ich will, daß sie leben und durch ständige Tätigkeit die Kraft aus Mir in Empfang nehmen und austeilen, weil sie zum Geben- und Beglücken-Wollen antreibt....
